With the price of DDR4 coming down, I decided to make the move to 64GB in my main (ITX) system. I’m glad I did.

This LPX kit was a great price, went straight in and booted straight up. 3200 / C16 is not the fastest speed or the fastest timings, but having 64GB in an ITX system is great.

    Recommended!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIch bin begeistert von den Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB RAM-Riegeln.

Works great and a nice low profile so cooler clearance isn’t an issue

I want to start by saying that a 64GB kit of RAM is overkill for probably the majority of you reading this review, you could save some cash getting 32 or 16 if you plan on just gaming or general browsing/checking emails you wont need much more than 8GB.

I do loads of 3D rendering, virtual machines and advanced fluid and smoke simulations which makes this high capacity RAM perfect for that kinda workload.

These corsair LPX kits are low profile as well meaning if you have a pretty beefy heatsink, you shouldnt worry too much (but I advise you still double check) the RAM clearence.

I added this memory to an existing 16GB (two x 8GB) with the same serial number on an Aorus Z390 Pro motherboard.

Although CPUID reports the chips are from a different manufacturer than the original it slotted in to the motherboard and booted without problems using my existing overclocking settings.

    Simple, easy upgrade.

Run bench mark tests it’s not slow, good performance, Zero over clocking, but with it in my system just not as responsive as my 3200 vengeance, running i7-8700, nvme 3400/2200, please if you buy it and know settings I should apply happy to liste

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersBoth worked as expected.

Tip: If your RAM is clocking lower than expected, you can change this from the bios. In my case when turning on the computer it first was only detecting 2666MHz, after adjusting it in the bios it now shows the correct 3200MHz…the default lower speed is meant to prevent immediate crashing for older CPU’s when building a PC which cannot handle such speeds.

The price of RAM is lowering these days, but I needed these for my machine, I’ll probably get another pair at some point in the future when they’re a lot cheaper.

Very easy to install, I did have to adjust the BIOS a bit to detect these RAM speeds, otherwise it’s default is something around 2100 speed instead of 3600.

They don’t protrude which is the main thing so easy installation was my priority. Not aesthetics.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersOk simple review. I ordered 32 GB DDR 4 Ram yesterday, it arrived today, and was fitted into my waiting computer. Puter runs much better! Also one other thing, it was cheaper to buy NEW RAM from Amazon, than to buy used on another site. I find that I am spending less and less with that other E site. Nice job Amazon….Again! 🙂 I needed this Ram for my photo editing and it really is helping already.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve been using this 3000 MHz RAM for over 5 years and recently bought some more. I now have 4 x 8Gb modules now and they work great.

It’s worth noting that when you first plug them in and turn on your PC, they may not run at their full speed. For me, they were running at 2133 MHz. This is not a fault with the RAM modules themselves, but is a default setting in the chipset. You need to go into your BIOS and enable XMP profile and the RAM should then run at its full speed.

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersThis RAM bundle is completely unnecessary and over-the-top powerful for anyone who isn’t looking to take care of powerful rendering tasks, streaming, etc. I have only purchased this much RAM because I was in a comfortable position to do so and wanted to futureproof my rig and wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who is making their first PC. That being said, Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM is fantastic, powerful, and has a minimalistic look that can fit in any system.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIs it the fastest money can buy? Probably not.
Is it the cheapest or best “Value”? Probably not.

Can you just throw it into a system and not have to worry about any incompatibility, clearance issues etc.? Absolutely.

If anyone asks me which RAM brand they should go for, and have no other requirements (e.g. RGB, speed etc.) I always recommend corsair.

In total I’ve put corsair RAM in roughly 50 different builds, and I’ve never had any develop issues.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersits 32 GB and its 3600MHz just as it says! had it for a while now and havent had any faults, the only fault i had was trying to OC it to around 3800 i believe it was and it didnt like it after a few minutes it would make my pc blue screen but i wasnt bothered as 3600 is plenty enough for me and i was just testing it out apart from that its been doing awesome!

    awesome

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf not the best, at least of the best RAM for it’s money. Mine is till working perferctly fine, no issues. The only thing I should say that sometimes you can get faulty pair of sticks which is causing blue screen of death. My friend recently ordered a kit of this RAM (3200 Mhz ones) and he has to refund it. I am completely understand that it is not always possible to test RAM properly and I admiting the fact of small percentege of manufactoring defects. I still recommend Corsair Vengeance LPX for video gaming!

Golden Review Award: 66 From Our UsersBought this with a Ryzen 7 3700.

There’s a few negative reviews here from people expecting this to work without configuring their system.

Out the box a Ryzen CPU does not support 3600 Mhz so you need to overclock your CPU. When I installed the memory it ran at 2133Mhz and this is expected. You need to overclock your Ryzen’s infinity fabric with a clock ratio of 1:1 (or more but use a guide) and then set the memory clock to 1800Mhz (Dual channel 1800Mhz x 2 = 3600). Please do some research on overclocking before you buy high speed memory kits because they don’t always work out the box and its not (usually) Corsairs fault.

Also a side note that 3600Mhz advertised is the maximum stable clock speed it will run at. You can clock it to more but you need to know what you’re doing.

10/10 Would recommend I’m getting very high benchmarks

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersBought these to upgrade my Kingston Hyper X 2133Mhz Ram, along with my new Ryzen 2700 CPU.
Had issues getting them to work with A-XMP on my MSI B350 Gaming Pro motherboard. Would go in a reboot loop until all my CPU and ram overclocks were reset to default.
Had to manually set the timings with the TRY IT function. Seems A-XMP was trying to set these at 3033MHz with the timings starting at 15-17-17.
Once I picked a 16-18-18 config, they worked perfectly fine.
A less experienced PC enthusiast might have the same issues and spend a while looking for solutions on Google.
    I hope they find this.
But Corsair are a solid make, these should last for years and at 52.99, these were a bargain.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI’m a bit torn about these, it’s hard to say anything bad about them but I felt like I needed to warn Ryzen users. The 2×8 3000mhz CL15 kit wasn’t stable enough for me while running XMP (or anything above 2400 for that matter).

Everything had been configured properly (correct dimm slots, etc), but you all probably know how building a PC works. Can’t blame a specific part. Had it running on Asrock B450m PRO4 (latest bios) and a pre-owned so probably overclocked Ryzen 2400g (latest drivers)(stock cpu -100mV offset, 1500mhz GPU overclock 1.2v).

Long story short – your milage may vary! I’d still strongly suggest trying them out before sprucing the cash on a B-Die kit. I only went for it cuz of a deal.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWriting this review in August 2017 when the price of this ram is 124.99.
I bought this ram for 56.99 back on 24th of March 2016.

Absolute steal for 56.99, but you won’t get this ram for that price in late 2017 or for a long time due to worldwide DDR4 shortages.

At the time it was a great buy, but This ram has some weird issues with the Asus Z170 Pro gaming board and playing the game called Runescape, weird but me and 3 other users were stumped and found out we all had the same motherboard and ram combo that was causing the issue and changing ram was enough, so if you have a Z170 pro gaming from Asus and this ram, you might… maybe run into issues with Runescape in NXT mode.

Other than that, this ram needs to be overclocked with the XMP profiles in bios to run at it’s advertised 2400Mhz speed, I was confused at first when it was running at 1666Mhz
