Bought 16gb of this stuff back in early 2021. Just recently picked up another 16 to get 32.

I use an MSI x570 tomahawk with 5800x. I continued to use my XMP profile at 3600mhz, but it started producing errors in memtest86.
After a while, I got the system stable by setting the frequency to 3600mhz manually and adjusting voltage to 1.38v (XMP was using 1.35v)

I haven’t messed around with timings yet. I may or may not. Computer is V fast regardless.

The rgb is brilliant and it performs amazingly however cl 18 is slower for ram and cl 16 is preferred although I have had no problems with the speed so fa

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersHad to return these due to incompatibility with another set bought previously (same part number).

Bought these to upgrade to 32gb, adding to the additional 16gb I already had. After installing I had multiple problems with games crashing and bsod. Upon further research I’d found that there’s no guarantee the manufacturers of the chips will be the same with these parts and the mismatch was causing issues. After return I bought a 2×16 kit which is working flawlessly.

The product itself is great, just adding this as a warning to anyone like me who was looking to add additional ram to your setup.

I do recommend to use XMP in the motherboard bios to get the full speed of the ram wich is 3600

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA lot of people say it doesn’t work at advertised speed, not stable or it doesn’t work with Ryzen.
I did not have any problem with my 5800x.
Don’t forget you have to enable xmp in BIOS to get the advertised speed.

Ps. Update to latest BIOS (manifacturer) + AMD chipset (AMD website) to achieve best stability.

Great ram looks good does what i need it to do i just avoid the 4 X 8 option if you are looking for 32GB as its way more expensive than just buying 2 2 X 8 packs

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDecided to give my PC rig a extra 16GB, so I have now 32GB. Was easy to install and PC Instantly recognised the new RAM. Didn’t need to do any tweaks and the speed of the RAM was correct. I did have a few issues with the Icue software and it would often freeze and wouldn’t detect my RAM on the software. But after turning off “Allow full software control” in the CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB PRO section, it stopped the RGB lighting on the RAM freezing and my RAM was recognised again in the software. Wish Corsair would fix icue… It’s so dodgy and broke

Golden Review Award: 18 From Our UsersThis is a good bit taller than my non-RGB Vengeance RAM and I had to remove the outer fan from my Dark Rock Pro cooler (similar in scale to Noctua’s NH-D15) just for it to fit into two of my slots (one slot it would not fit in at all). So be mindful of this if you also have a sizable air cooler on your CPU! Pics attached.

Onto the RAM… I bought the 3600mhz sticks but am currently running at 3200mhz as that is the frequency of my other pair. Performance wise it’s on par with the sticks it replaced, nothing more I can say on it really; I want a stable system and find the out of the box speeds plentiful so have no interest in overclocking.

This is paired with a Ryzen 5800X and an Asus ROG Strix X570-E motherboard, no issues whatsoever. I have a Corsair case with a number of RGB fans so am already using their iCUE software – it works well, it also lets me control my motherboard RGB, has lots of options and effects for in depth customisation, so I’ve no qualms with it at all. If you’re particularly fussed about RGB then I’m sure you’ll have an opinion on that already.

All in all I’m happy with it. Probably won’t buy another pair because I’d have to change my cooler, but that’s more my cooler’s fault than the RAM – can heartily recommend this if you’ve got the room!

    It's tall!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPro’s:
+ 16GB memory which is perfect for modern day gaming
+ 3600 MHz and 18 CL means 10 nanoseconds latency which is fast
+ Rgb is fully customisable using iCUE and looks great

    Con’s (nit picks)
    – If your new to computers installation might be slightly confusing (although ram is one of the easiest pieces of hardware to install)
    – Cheaper alternatives out there from less established brands
    – Other ram sticks have rgb that covers more of the stick and arguably look slightly better, however customising it might be more difficult

In conclusion, if you have enough for it I’d recommend buying this ram for the speed, size and looks of it, as it is great for all 3 of these things

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersI have an X570 board with Ryzen 5900x. I was running a 3600 as a stop gap while waiting for stock of the 5900x and this RAM is not stable in the XMP profile with either CPU. I can manually set the frequency to 3600 in BIOS without changing the timings or voltage and it runs fine, 100% stable. The XMP instability causes the occasional system lock up if it’s on for days at a time but I crash to desktop when playing games, 100% of the time with XMP enabled. It passes stress tests and other benchmarks with XMP so all quite strange. The cinebench R23 score is the same with XMP or manually setting frequency to 3600mhz so I’ll stick with this manual setting that in theory, shouldn’t work.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAfter several hours of google and memtesting I’ve found out that if you buy the same ram, it is infact not the same universally and they will not work unless you have the same version ID. If you pair two seperate sticks make sure the verx.31 matches as they are different dies that don’t at all work together past the base speeds.

In my experience I had a ver.3.31(Micron Rev E) 2x16gb kit, bought a secondary kit that ended up being 8.31 (Nanya IC’s ) 2x16gb. After getting a replacement from amazon thankfully they sent me the 3.31 version and which fixed the issue instantly and allowed for the full 32gb to be used and XMP’d to 3600mhz.

Golden Review Award: 42 From Our UsersI’ve been updating my PC with an Intel 9900K CPU on an Asus Prime Z390-A motherboard. I wanted some fast RAM to compliment the setup. I settled on two of these Corsair Vengeance RGB modules giving me 16GB of RAM. I went for the 3600 MHz ones as I didn’t want to overclock them.

Since popping them into the motherboard, they have worked faultlessly and at the rated speed. They are definitely plug and forget. The only setting up I needed to do was to set the colours I wanted. The LEDs are nice and bright but can be dimmed if needed using the Corsair iCUE software.

The software has to be downloaded but it works well. Incidentally, the software will control the motherboard lights as well. A lot of people say that this can’t be done as Asus uses its own Aura software. They’re wrong. You do have to download and install the Aura software but not have to use it. iCUE will then be able to control it all.

These memory modules are a little more expensive than some other modules but from experience they are well worth the extra. They have good built-in heatsinks and rarely get passed be a little warm to the touch. As long as there a little breeze flowing around them and you shouldn’t have any problems, even if you want to overclock them.

Overall, they are a little pricey but that shouldn’t deter you. They are worth it!

    They are worth it!

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersI absolutely love this ram.

I built my first gaming PC earlier in the year and got 16gb of this. However the OCD side of me didn’t like 2 ram sticks in a 4 dim bay, so I had to get another 2.

The 3600mhz is perfect for 3rd Gen Ryzen that favours faster ram. The timings aren’t superb but they can easily be tightened very safely to CL16. You can go to 14 too but that’s about as good as its getting (do this at your own risk)

The RGB looks good and is quite smooth on flowing effects. Icue software is meh. Not bad but not great. It’s been a little bit buggy but works for the most part. There’s been an update lately and seems a lot more secure.

Overall I’m extremely happy with this Ram. It’s low profile, fast as hell, very easy to install and has good RGB. A winner in my books.

Looks good. Fast as hell and great price

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersCould only boot at 3400Mhz OC 3700X. Seems the XMP isn’t working with gigabyte.

I’ve included CPU-Z Information for my RAM Kit, but it uses MICRON chips and I believe they’re Micron E-Die (But don’t quote me as I found that on a forum, but Micron is listed in CPU-Z).

Anyway, the Sticks are lovely and quality feeling. They also show the Correct Way! By this I mean the Logo isn’t facing the CPU like some it’s facing the RIGHT so if you’re looking in the case and its bright you’ll see the Corsair Logo instead of a barcode or sticker with model and serial numbers on etc.

I previously before this kit had some Dominator Platinum @ 3200 and that was equally as good.
