This small knife fitted my brief. I wanted a small bladed knife that was sturdy, sharp and portable. It’s a great little tool and has been quite useful. Would recommend.
In terms of functionality, the pocket knife performs adequately for everyday tasks. The main blade is sharp enough for general cutting needs and handles common materials with ease. However, it may require more frequent sharpening compared to higher-quality blades. The lack of additional tools or specialized features limits its versatility, making it suitable for basic cutting tasks but less adaptable to specific situations.
The pocket knife’s locking mechanism provides a satisfactory level of safety, ensuring that the blade stays securely in place during use. However, the deployment and closing mechanisms may lack the smoothness and precision found in more advanced models. The pocket clip, if included, offers convenient carry options, but it may not provide the most secure attachment.
Durability is a notable aspect of this average pocket knife. It is constructed from decent-quality materials that can withstand regular use and light to moderate tasks. While it may not be the most resilient option for heavy-duty applications, it can hold up reasonably well for typical daily use.
Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward, with the pocket knife being easy to disassemble and clean. However, it may lack some of the corrosion-resistant coatings or materials found in higher-end models, requiring more diligent care to prevent rust or wear.
The knife seems well made for the price, has a useful clip but did need sharpening out of the box.
Great little pocket knife. Sturdy and well made, great finish, great edge. You won’t find a better knife for the price. I’ve paid much more for much worse. Absolute bargain.
Ideal for its intended use which is simply cutting the binder twine on hay bales. Fits in the pocket, on key ring or in the car and saves having to hunt for something sharp to deal with bailer twine which is a beast.
Picked it up to cut through cardboard, pricked the end of my finger, blood everywhere – and it barely touched so I’m impressed! Highly recommended, if I lose it, I’ll buy again (I won’t, stays in my bag – could do with a leather holder for it).
Highly recommend A***
Perfect for small tasks that I ordered it for like opening packages and cutting twine etc. not sure it’s sturdy enough for much more as the grip isn’t the best but ok for what I’ve suggested
The knife arrived reasonably sharp and it only took a couple of passes on the whetstone then the strop to get a very usable edge on it. The fit and finish is fantastic for a knife at this price point, the blade isn’t centred when closed but it does just cost 12.99. It has a lovely weight to it, light but very comfortable in the hand, it’s easy to open and has a good spring to stop it closing on your fingers. It also clips onto my belt loop or backpack for easy access which is a real bonus. Overall I’m delighted with this knife, did i mention that it only cost 12.99? I’m going to buy a couple more for friends and for keeping in my car.
