I’ve used my mask countless times on dives up to 40ft deep. Fogging is inevitable for any mask so it is best to use anti fog gel. It is also easy to equalize when squeezing your nose while using this mask.
The mask Is really good, I did contact a couple of dive centres regarding the mask and the skirt around the mask. The mask has a floating skirt and is meant to be like this and it’s not a design fault. It is totally water tight as I have tried it today, I was going to send it back but I have no problem with it. I also have a very short beard, though it did leak a tiny bit this is not a problem, I will use Burt bees wax lip balm to seal it with under my nose.
Bought this for a holiday in Madeira. The skirt is really soft and flexible, so offers a good fit on your face (even with my beard). There’s no pressure or tight spots on the nose or anywhere else. Really happy with this for snorkeling.
I used an anti fog paste, so no idea if it fogs up or not without it. always best to take all precautions.
Replaced both my seac & mares as primary mask. Great anti mist feature, which lasts twice as long as all my other masks. Comfortable & very pro looking. Won’t change colour like a clear mask.
I have a hard time finding a mask that doesn’t leak. And then cressi calibro came. I only have a handful of dive with it, but not once I needed to clear my mask. I hope it will last, reading the other reviews I’m nervous about this. But so far so good.
Fog stop.. Well.. Is it cressi’s fog stop or my new brand of antifog spray.. I couldn’t say.. But I’m very happy about having no fog at all..

I prepared the lenses with toothpaste on receipt and used McNETT Sea Gold prior to each use; even with the advertised anti-fog feature there is no sense in not following good practice. The upshot: I snorkelled in the Med for literally hours without any fogging whatsoever.
The lens are close to your eyes and the mask is a close fit – this results in a wide, largely unobstructed view. If you have a very wide face this mask maybe too small – sadly this is something you will only discover when you try it.
I cannot find any fault with this mask and I cannot wait to get back in the sea to use it again. An added bonus worthy of mention is this mask arrived in its own click shut hard case; whilst probably not robust enough for longterm professional use it is all you need for packing in luggage or lugging to the beach in a ‘dive’ bag.
I have always had trouble with masks leaking. Part of it is my mustache, but I cut that way back when I’m diving, so I’ve just had bad luck with masks. This Cressi Calibro fits perfectly. It barely leaks, rarely fogs, and the small volume and wide field of view make free diving much easier.
Tout le monde me demande ce que c’est que ce masque, mme les vieux briscards… Donc vous passerez pas inaperu. Ressemble un masque d’apne (bah Nry quoi…), petit volume, mais c’est particulirement pratique pour les vidages, ou quand on a un visage long. La jupe est d’une grand qualit et la conception permet de le retourner dans tous les sens pour un nettoyage en profondeur. Le systme antibue fonctionne vraiment, mais un bon vieux crachat reste optimal. L’inclinaison des verres vers le bas est intressante, a vite de se dmonter la nuque pour y voir en bas et sur les cts. Si je ne l’avais plus, je le rachterais sans regarder la concurrence.
Great mask, super clear lenses and comfortable.
Does it fog? Oh yes like every single one of them so if someone says it does not fog then I’m 100% sure they lie. I have never had mask that does not fog but I use Cressi antifog spray and that just works – simple 5 quid solution if you are on the go or boat. Spray and wash it works great.
I have used it for diving and snorkeling – it just works and not leaking so not much more to say about it.
Bought this mask as it was needed for a trip next day & it was the only prime one available. Glad I did though – very good quality used it on 30m dive. As its low volume its aslo perfect for freediving , 5 stars
This is a super mask. Just back from 3 weeks diving in Maldives. No fogging or leaking whatsoever! Even when using the turbo dive scooters and in fierce channel currents it stayed sealed perfectly. It’s smaller than my cressi big eyes masks which for me was great as it gave me a better gap from my hair at top and sides. Easy to adjust and comfortable round my head.
I got the white as blue was out of stock… But I got loads of comments on how good it looked so glad I got that one.
At the price I paid (35) I have to say it was an absolute bargain and well worth the money.
I use mine playing uwh and its Best mask ive had yet. To only does the nose seal work but i also have had a couple of people say it looks good so i would recomend !
Auch hat die Brille kein normal transparentes Glas. Das Glas hat einen leichten Rotstich, der zwei sehr passende Vorteile hat.
1. Die Brille ist ber Wasser bei grellen Licht angenehmer. Gerade dann, wenn aufgetaucht wird und in Richtung Sonne geschaut wird. Auch beim prfenden Blick berhalb der Wasserkannte ist der Effekt ein wenig wie eine ganz dezente Sonnenbrille. Da ich eh seht Lichtempfindlich bin, ist das MEGA!
2. Die Glser haben einen verbauten Rotfilter.
ber die Vorteile eines solchen Filters kann sich jeder belesen. Der Effekt ist grandios.
Tragekomfort:
Brille sitzt auf meinem Kopf perfekt. Auch meine Jungs mi 12 und 7 Jahren nutzen diese Brille; allerdings ohne HD Glas.
Minimaler Wassereintritt an der Nase kam vor. Aber das wre jammern auf hohem Niveau.
Totraum:
Der ist sehr klein, was es sehr leicht macht den Druck der Maske zu regulieren.
Beschlag:
Nach mehrmaligen und grndlichem Reinigen mit Sple und Zahnpasta sind scheinbar alle Silokonreste verschwunden. Ein Einreben der Glser mit Speicher garantiert bei mir kein Beschlagen. Dauerte aber seine Zeit.
Besser, wenn es gleich in den Urlaub geht, MEHRMALS REINIGEN.
Fazit: KAUFEN 😉
Very light, good materials. Anti Fogging system is so-so. Used for free diving and snorkeling and found it got foggy relatively in short time. i din not use any antifogging products.
A great new design for a face mask. Tiny air volume-great field of view. Soft and well fitting. Mirrored glass is excellent. I think the anti fog nose seal works well (although I did clean the inner glass with toothpaste before my first dive). Fish have actually come up to see themselves in the mirror!
Soft and frameless nature means I needed a new way to clear the mask if flushing it while wearing in the water-or water tended to up my nose. Not a big problem.
