CRSURE 4 Blades Small Wood Stove Fan – Heat Powered Fan
CRSURE 4 Blades Small Wood Stove Fan – Heat Powered Fan Silent Operation with Stove Thermometer for Wood/Log Burners/Fireplace – Eco Friendly and Efficient Heat Distributio
Do’t Place on Heat Vents/Grille
- DO NOT suggest to purchase if the max temp on your stove is below 100℃(212℉),the fan will can’t work efficiently.
- Temperature around 250℃(482℉)would be perfect.
- The BEST is make the fan base getting heat as more as it can, while the fan top keep cooling.
Do’t Exceed 350°C(662°F)
- DO NOT exceed 350°C(662°F). The metal stip (Bismuth) under fan base will bent itself to reduce contacting surface when operating temp goes high,to protect the fan overheating, but if temp exceed 350°C,will can’t stop the damage.
- Always use a stove thermometer to monitor the operating temperature.
Best Position for Operation
- DO NOT placestove fan in front of chimney, just place on a flat surface on the top of stove away from flue pipe, keep distance at least 4”.
- Never place the fan on an unprotected surface if the fan base is still hot.
- Keep all obstacles at a distance while the fan in use.

Works really well at sending heat out into room rather than up to ceiling.
This fan represented the third time of trying to find a stove fan that would work off a gas fired Aga stove (with stove top surface / fan start temperature of c.50-60 degreees Celsius). Although the two other fans tried (including a flue mounted fan) were all well made/quality products, neither would start / operate and/or were too big to be used safely when the hot plate covers were up. The CRSURE 4 Blade fan is well made, copact in size and has proven perfect for our needs. To note Amazon agreed to the return of both of the unsuitable fans with no quibble, via their free return service (using the Royal Mail drop off facility option on both occasions).
It’s a nice little thing and soon bursts into action . However if I’d realised it was so small I wouldn’t have bought it. . All my fault I didn’t read the dimensions properly . The illustrations give a much larger look . However in its self and at the price it’s a good thing . I’m certainly not sorry I’ve got it !! Michael Shaw
Works well, is quiet, distributes heat efficiently and certainly makes a difference to the warmth of the room.
With a very limited headroom above our stove we had to go for a small fan, but the small size produces a strong waft of warm air. It is virtually silent when you have the tv on, and only a slight wirring sound if the room is silent. A very effective and good value unit. About to buy another one to go alongside!
Great little fan. There isn’t much clearance on the top of my stove so needed a small one. It really makes the room heat up quicker & distributes the heat evenly
I bought this because there is not a great deal of height for a “standard” one it was absolutely fabulous for what I wanted. Also really liked the design of it.
we purchased a small fan as we were limited in the height, works well, has to be placed at rear of stove as instructions, but really not that noticeable when running, perhaps we require two!. but it does what it says, and compared to others it was a reasonable price.
This is my 3rd time ordering a set of 2 of these. They’re good at moving the heat around and fit well in the small gap we have above the log burner but 80 every 18 months to replace them, I could live without.
Arrived today and about 5pm I placed the the tiny and discreet fan in the suggested position, lit the fire waited, after about 5 minutes the blade’s started moving and as the temperature rose you could feel the heat permeat the room. The fan is quiet but not silent but also not intrusive. Would recommend this product on my short experience but will have to wait to see about longevity.
Just had our stove fitted and the vacant space was quite small so had to get a fan that would fit 5-6 inches high this worked perfectly the heat distribution is amazing for such a small device so very pleased with this bit of ki
This is very good and heats up a lot faster than my fan made by a different company that i used last year. I now have this and the one from last year on my stove in the lounge and it is perfectl.
Wouldn’t have thought such a small fan could work so well, we have open plan and you can feel the heat from the furthest part of the house, can’t fault i
My parents didn’t think they could have a fan as the space between the stove and fireplace lintel.
I finally found this one! It works very well and gets the heat around the room. My parents tell me that they don’t need to use as much wood due to now having the fan.
Very big difference v’s not having the fan it definitely keeps more of the heat in the room than going up the chimney, or at least mixes up the air so it feels warmer quicker. Will get a second one for the other side of the stove.
I have a limited amount of space on the top of my woodburning stove so I got this one as it was small and could fit. When the fan runs, it’s silent. Does it actually push warm air into the room? Hmmm…I’m not so sure. I suspect with a larger fan it would but with a small fan like this, maybe not. The thermometer that comes with it is quite useful and sticks on the stove pipe with a magnet.
This has definitely unobtrusively and quietly improved heat distribution. It is compact and was selected for its size. It is a bit limited by the relative slowness of the rate at which we choose to burn our fuel. We open the doors from our living room to our central hall and direct the fan from the stove top towards the doors. Gradually, heat moves throughout the home, not just around the living room. Definitely an added bonus for us. There is also less concentrated heat immediately around the stove. We are considering getting another one to sit on the other side of the stove to aid distribution round the house.
Really good fan. Not too noisy at all, the only issue I have is finding a good spot to that the fan doesn’t rattle from the fan speed (ie, the flattest part of the stove without any undulations as it’s cast iron). I could resolve that by weighting it slightly or putting a thin layer of metal under I suppose.
Gets going at around 45/50c. Nice and small so fits on top of a inserted stove, with the size though, I’d recommend buying 2.
Works well. We have one of our log burners in a recess and the wall above recess does not get as warm as it used to. Room seems to be warmer. It is impossible with most log burners to place fan 4 inches from pipe but having said that it seems to work Ok. Tried it on our other log burner which is free standing and it didn’t seem to work as well.
The double fan would have been better but my stove top is not wide enough. I’ll probably buy another single to place at the other side of the flue pipe.
This fan really moves some air, we have it sat just in front of the flue on our small log burner and you can feel the air blowing about 10 feet away. I felt it was a little noisy at first but persevered and I am not sure if I have got used to it or it has quietened down but we don’t notice the noise any more. I recommend for anyone wanting to pull some heat away from the back of there log burner. The device is powered by thermoelectric and needs alot of heat to power the fan. Our log burner is around 250 to 300 degrees C and the fan runs well at this temperature.
Wanted a slim in height stove fan to complement the multi-fuel stove and help distribute the heat within the room. The fan fits nicely in the space and is subtly sitting at the back of the stove. When the temperature reaches around 100c the blades will start spinning on there own, and whilst there is a very quiet noise from the motor as the blades turn it is not an issue. A magnetic temperature gauge came packaged with the magnet strong enough to keep it firmly on the metal flue. The room does feel warmer as the fan gently moves and mixes the air, rather than experiencing cold spots. As the stove cools down the fan remains spinning until it reaches around 50c.
It’s the smallest fan I could find on Amazon and works to an extent. I’m just not sure that actually it makes a big difference really, but that might the stove rather than the fan.
Worked very well in distributing the heat from a small log burner around a much larger space than the burner was previously able to heat. We have a J shaped open plan space with the burner at the bottom tip of the J. Previously the area around the burner was super hot compared to the rest of the space but I was impressed at how effective this small fan was at evening things out. The magnetic flue thermometer was very useful in making sure we were burning hot enough to get complete combustion and avoid creosote build up in the chimney.
Great quality, really sturdy. Was a little annoyed with the advertising as pictures showed it sat on the front of a wood burner yet the instructions said this is a no no! Well I’ve got mine on the front and it works really well. Cost a little high but hopefully saving on gas will soon pay for that.
The stove fan looks great and has a very good build quality. The fan starts to spin at low temperatures, 1 starts then a few seconds later the 2nd one kicks in. This is great and really helps circulate the heat which not only gets the room to her that little bit quicker but you can save on wood as you can lower the vents to control the heat output. The Fans dont make hardly any noise if any. The draw of the fire going is louder.
I have not used the thermometer yet but it’s just magnetic and attaches onto the Flue.
Bit disappointed really , it states its 12.5 cm in height which is just over 5 inches but it doesn’t say the handle is over an inch which leaves the fan standing at 4 inches , so even though the gap I’ve got is just under 7 inches its looks tiny .
Due to the small gap between the top of the stove and the chimney I could only fit one of the smaller models. It arrived within 2 days, no assembly required and waited for an excuse to put the fire on. It automatically switches on when the stove is hot enough but it takes a bit longer (until the stove is really hot) until you feel a difference. It is placed towards the back of the stove on one side and as our room is quite big I will be buying another to put on the other side of the stove.
