At first i was very skeptical about buying an extra stick of ram but finally convinced my self this crucial one stick of 8GB ram would change my laptop completely.And it did!Going from 4GB of ram to 12 felt like going from an old intel i3 to a new intel i9 13 th gen.Installation was very easy,crucial was kind enough to provide an installation guide.After installing my brain was buzzing with thoughts but was reassured after going into the task manager to see 12 Gigabytes of RAM.After this installation my laptop felt so much smoother from opening chrome/chrome tabs to scrolling down and up.This ram truly has changed my laptop and will change yours too .Just give it a chance!

I ended up not using them because the laptop i was referring has a ram slot that doesn’t fit this kind of ram stick
But it is really good that it is rank 2. Which means it has memory chiplets on both sides of the stick
I needed to add more RAM to a cheap NUC I bought second-hand. I give a low score for gaming, because my NUC isn’t really used for that, and not a reflection on quality of product.
Yeah, bit of bother taking the laptop apart to get to the memory slots.
[There were 2 slots, and the 4GB chip that came with the laptop took up one slot].
Slotted this into the second slot so now I have 12GB RAM.
Wow – just wow.
Everything works a bit faster – but the biggest gains are when switching between multiple tabs and apps (e.g. a couple of spreadsheets and half a dozen browser tabs open at the same time).
Multiple instance emulators become a reality, too, rather than taking 5 minutes to switch from one Minecraft instance to another in BlueStacks, for example, it now takes seconds.
I am not much of a gamer, btw, and I use the extra RAM mostly for having multiple spreadsheets open simultaneously, and effortlessly cutting and pasting between them.
My all in one desktop is only 3 1/2 years old but allready struggling to do simple tasks quickly and took ages to boot up. Standard 4gb RAM installed. This kit arrived next day and took and 15 minutes to install. Instantly improved the performance and boot times. Highly recommended.
Crucial is only one of a couple of companies that i personally trust when it comes to RAM, Ive bought many RAM modules over the years all have been extremely reliable.
This was easy to install pretty much its the same as with any laptops.
Bought to speed up a system as the software used was eating away at the resources.
Value for what i paid for the RAM was in my opinion good value for the price paid.
Ordered this and it works perfectly! I spoke to crucial first on their support before ordering. It is like I have a new laptop! I have the HP Laptop 14-bp0xx from Dec 2017, and my laptop was crashing a little on chrome and to install updates from Windows, so got the upgrades of 2 x 8 GB to upgrade my laptop to 16gb memory. It is like a new laptop and saved time and money buying a new laptop! I liked that they have the video on how to install the memory it is a very user friendly video and easy to understand for someone that has never installed memory, I feel like an engineer haha.
I have a Dell Latitude E2720, which has i5 core, SSD etc. but only 4gb of ram. This would be fine for regular web browsing but I often have multiple windows that take up a lot of memory, and I was getting frustrated with how slow it could be. I installed it and can already tell my computer is much much faster.
The ram comes just by itself in a little packet, no instructions. Look up your computer’s owners manual for instructions how to install more memory/ram, or look on Youtube. It wasn’t difficult to install, and I just had to turn on my computer for it to take effect.
100% worth 16. Applications that took a while to load or respond are now blazing fast. Don’t bother with expensive ram if it’s just for a regular non-gaming laptop, this will do fine!
