My hair normally needs 1.5 hr of diffusing before fully dry, but this diffuser has cut down my time to 30-40mins.
Tip: Get the diffuser to ‘stand’ on the floor, then lie on your bed, leaving your hair over it. Volume is amazing.
I’ve had the same hairdryer for about 11 years now. Me and my children use it daily, so when this came up I thought why not. Little treat.
I couldn’t wait to try it. Its great. Really pleased and nice to have a new hairdryer. My son has already stolen it so I’m still using my old one when he’s home.

There is a lot of reviews saying about the price of this hair dryer, I firstly have to say that yes this is a pricier hair dryer than your extra value 15 hair dryer, however, this is a professional hair dryer that is used by the very top hair dressers, HMUA, hair stylists and so on.
I could provide you with why it makes a difference but the information is on the ad and the Curlsmith website so do your own research and if you want to protect your hair and have the budget to spend the extra on a high quality product than I highly recommend this product, especially if you have afro, curly, wavy hair.
The big diffuser attachment is great, but would not be worth much without the little leg prongs at the back of the hairdryer to make it stand up without having to hold it. The hairdryer itself isn’t that heavy but after a long while of sectioning your hair out it can get a bit tedious so this is a very welcome feature.
I’m not totally sure if drying my hair now takes all that much quicker or if I’m convincing myself that it does because of the larger diffuser attachment than what I am usually used to.
The speed and heat settings are very standard like on every/most hairdryers (including the cold setting).
The hairdryer itself is made of good quality materials and is not hollow/plastic-y which shows that it somewhat holds true to value. However, for this price I don’t think it’s fully worth it for me personally. For those who can afford it, this may be a really good product that is easy to fall in love with. For me, it’s really hard justifying it.
I am discovering my curls now and I found this hair dryer incredible. It is easy to use and to hold, it helps my curls to be smooth and well formed. Sturdy and durable material. Very modern design, beautiful colour. Very good product quality.

I find that diffuser is brilliant for drying my curls quickly and makes it looks smoother. Best thing about this is that it dries hair quick! would recommend. I knock one star off it due to the price!

I love this hairdryer. I have never used a diffuser in my hair before, well not recently, this one is massive but I have thick long wavy hair and it was great. It took about 15mins to dry but like I’ve said I had no idea what I was doing. I have had lots of compliments on my hair, mostly asking if I did it myself. I think it could have been so much better too if I’d used some curling products in it.
It also has a comb type attachment which is great for drying straight hair and another attachment I’ve yet to use.
The temperature has 3 settings and the fan has two. It’s not too heavy either to use.
It’s great, totally worth the money and can’t wait to use it again.
This hairdryer works really well. We got this for my wife and she loves it. With the diffuser, the hair is dry in no time. Between brushes and getting the next handful of hair to dry, she places the dryer down for a few seconds and the two ‘legs’ in the back of the dryer are great to help it stand.
I hear the dryer switch on then remember I must take a few pics of her using it for this review, but by the time I’m ready, she’s done and the dryer is away. I gave up and just photographed the hairdryer by itself. She gets it done so quickly now – good for getting the bills down, of course
The quality of this hairdryer is noticeable. The options of three heat settings and cold, as well as the blue settings, helps to avoid scorching the hair. At 2kw, this is a powerful dryer and the diffuser, which is MASSIVE, dries without the feeling that it’s blowing hot air on you. It’s strange, but it works well. The air is diffused across such a MASSIVE surface area that it dries quickly, but gently.
This is not cheap, but this is definitely great quality. For something you will use so often, it’s worth investing in a good product too.
This is a really comprehensive set for everything you need to style your hair straight or wavy/curly. It comes with a vented nozzle attachment which are easy to get on and off but I particularly like the vented nozzle with a comb like section so you can effectively smooth the hair down while drying it and combing it through at the same time! I’ve not used the extra large diffuser yet as my hair is not long enough but once it does I think this will come in really handy
Cant fault this hair dryer at all. It has 3 heat settings + cool and 2 speed fan setting. Box comes with 3 different heads that was useful for my long wavy hair. Its not too heavy and not too loud. It’s very powerful and dries hair so much quicker. My hair feels softer after using it and also stays bouncy and soft and fresh looking days after. Highly recommend this hairdryer.
That diffuser is very huge so it can be a very good dryer for hair. It has 3 heat settings + cool and 2 speed fan settings, which is enough for all daily needs.
I got this hair dryer from Curlsmith for my ‘curly haired’ daughter to try. She thinks that it’s a nice size and weight, and most importantly- not too noisy. The handle is really comfortable to hold, but annoyingly (for her) the buttons are right where her fingers are and so she was constantly switching it off or accidentally turning the head up or down. She likes the diffuser as it dried her hair really quickly without crushing any curls. She did like the instructions for drying but thought it a shame that there aren’t any for using the pick attachment – one for YouTube I think. Overall, it’s good hairdryer – however it is quite expensive.
Have used it a few times. It’s pretty Simple to use with its settings, very good drying speed, comfortable to hold.
Overall Good features for heat you require, gives hair nice smooth look. Decent size and lightweight, but it’s not easy to carry around with the big diffuser so ideal for use at home.
I have incredibly curly hair (see photo) which makes drying it a nightmare. Most diffuser heads are quite small which means the curls will bunch up more and end up almost as separate “sections” even when dry.
The diffuser head on this is HUGE. It covers a vast amount of hair which makes drying even and, more importantly, look more natural when dry. I kept my wash and style routine the same (not curl smith products) and the curls felt markedly softer once diffused than they do using my other hair diffuser.
There are 3 temperature settings, 2 speed settings as well as a “cool” button.
Very happy with my first go- and think can’t wait to experiment a bit more!
Curlsmith is a grand luxury brand for those with curls and coily hair , it is more on the mid price range .
This hair dryer although being high priced works exceptionally well . I have type 4 hair and I find a lot of hair dryers don’t work well to blow dry and soften my coily hair but this did . It has a hot , cold and warm setting , so you can decide on what temperature you want to blow-dry your hair at .
The diffuser is massive but it does the job perfectly. It helps to gives texturises, volume and definition to curly and coily hair . This diffuser can also be applied to curly and afro hair texturised wig .
Apart from looking and feeling like a high quality product, it performs amazingly.
Never knew my hair could have so much volume and be so curly.
From the package, to the results of drying, this is a decent hairdryer.
Not the quickest when using the curler but anything to fast would not be as effective.

A fantastic professional hairdryer. Materials and construction are excellent. Feels solid and very well made. 3 heat settings + cool and 2 speed fan setting. The diffuser is massive. My daughter has long wavy hair and she loves the results using the diffuser. She says it dries quickly and evenly as it says on the tin.

The diffuser head is extra large and there are 3 speed settings along with 4 heat settings to choose from, including a cold setting.
It dries hair quickly without fuss and does a good job of de-frizzing hair, while still leaving it full and soft. Especially with the diffuser attached as it helps distribute and spread the heat evenly.
It can be a bit bulky in the hand along with the diffuser attachment, but I’ve found it easy enough to use so far.
All in all, it’s a good hair dryer, but a bit expensive in my opinion.
