This is our first dehumidifier and I can totally see what all the fuss is about! Its made a massive difference already and we havent even had it a week!
Good for a single bedroom or office. Not powerful enough if you’re going to handle an entire apartment or large living space. But for my bedroom, and for the price, sufficient.
Use this in a small room where we dry clothes. Leaves a whole load bone dry in 2 hours and keeps ambient humidity low. Fairly quiet in operation. Good sized water container. Stable on its wheels. Good value for such an efficient beast of a machine. Pleased.
Very impressed with our new dehumidifier that we got to use in our daughters bedroom as she has issues with damp and mould issues in that room. We have the window open often but found that this machine really helped collect a lot of moisture.
Easy to set up. Moves well on its little castors. Very quiet for all the work it does so able to rest in comfort when on. Has an alarm when the water tank is full or not in correctly.
Very pleased and would recommend.
This is a first class humidifier and worth the price. It is ideal if you are in a damp environment. It is easy to operate and dries a room quickly; you should notice an improvement in a few hours but leaving it for even longer will create better results. The digital display is clear, the presets are helpful and it switches off when the tank is full. I’m super impressed with this and am happy to recommend it.
Lovely dehumidifier and quite powerful.
Helps with drying the clothing indoors overnight.
Generous 2.8L tank and auto off once full.
A large touch panel indicates operating mode.
2 weeks of usage and seems pretty good for now, it is however not very humid.
Handy removable and washable filter.
Also the 4 wheels to get from room to room, as it is about 13kg.
Reasonable at under 170 for a 20L.
Nice and large in size, but good to see that the manufacturer has a wide range of sizes for depending on how big of an area you need to keep on top of! I opted for the 20l model and it was more than enough to help keep on top of our unit at work. Literally plug into one of the corner plugs and empty the tank every 12 hour! This will literally keep going and going and will never shut off until you want them too! They do have power surge modes for it the unit feels it needs to shut down though for safety. We’ve had it running a few days and you can already start to notice the results. Looking into the manufacturer they are very well known and overall I am so pleased to have been able to test! I would recommend and buy this again.
HUMSURE Dehumidifier 20L
This is not a cheap way to dehumidify the room, especially I use it to dry the clothes that can’t go in the tumble drier. It is slightly cheaper than the tumble dried, but it is effective in lowering down the humidity, especially when it is raining. It is easy to operate, but quite noisy, perhaps due to the size of its motor. Recommendable.
One of the problems with British summer is that it’s usually raining so drying clothes on radiators turns the room into a jungle. This Homsure dehumidifier takes care of that by drawing in the moist air and collecting it in the tank. It’s easy to move and wheel around in any room and I love the ability to set the humidity level you want and just leave it so you don’t have to keep checking on it. It also cuts out when the tank gets full and offers a drainage pipe for constant use if needed.
Really handy gadget to prevent those damp walls.
This dehumidifier removes up to 16 litres of moisture per day and regulates humidity.
The HUMSURE Dehumidifier is not particularly large, so if you’re looking for a machine that takes up little space, this is the one for you. Its digital display is a fantastic feature that is highly helpful for monitoring the current climate in the room. While the 24-hour timer is also a nice addition, as it lets you set it to turn on and off as needed.
Furthermore, the machine’s auto-defrost function is effective and could save you a lot of time when dealing with condensation, even when drying clothes. Also, its continuous drainage function makes it ideal for damp flats, apartments, and other high-humidity areas. However, it does not operate that quietly, so it may disturb your sleep.
Overall, this is a good spend for reducing excess moisture and humidity in your home.
I ordered this for my son as he resides in rented student accommodation during the majority of the year and he was complaining of slight damp issues within his room. It was damp on a couple of the corners of his bedroom walls and the window was showing signs of mold. The room always felt cold on our visits over the winter and early spring despite having a half-decent radiator. After 24hrs of him using this, his room started to warm up a little and the water container needed emptying which is impressive considering its 20l capacity. Within a few days, his bedroom door was also able to close properly without being forced as it had swollen and was sticking a little. It’s made a big improvement and is not only great for him, but it is reassuring for us as parents that it’s working and he is in good health as a consequence. He’s now able to air dry his clothes without worrying and the damp issues are subsiding which should see him right for the start of his second year and the fast approaching autumn/summer seasons months.
In summary, it’s a great high-capacity unit that has genuinely made a difference and improved my son’s quality of life so I highly recommend it to anyone with similar issues.
Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

The dehumidifier arrives in a sturdy box with several pieces of tape that need to be removed before use. The three-pin UK plug is inside the water tank along with the casters that need to be fitted on the underside before use. To avoid damage to the dehumidifier, it needs to be stood upright for at least two hours before it is plugged in for the first time. It is a fairly heavy appliance and is therefore best removed from the packaging where you intend to use it; although there is a handle, I didn’t feel it offered very good grip.
It is very easy to use and essentially just needs to be plugged in and it will be removing moisture from the atmosphere within a very short period of time. It has a touch sensitive control panel that is intuitive to use and includes a clothes drying mode that defaults to the high fan speed. You cannot alter the fan speed on the clothes drying mode but you could revert to using a manually selected fan speed to reduce noise of operation if desired. Although the dehumidifier does make some noise, at the highest fan speed it is still one of the quieter dehumidifiers I have ever used whilst still effectively removing moisture from the air.
Excess water drains into a tank and the dehumidifier switches off once this is full and will not turn on again until it has been emptied. If you have a lot of moisture to expel, there is a continual drainage option with a supplied hose if you have a suitable place to run this into
This is a robustly built appliance that requires a small amount of assembly before use as well as resting for two hours before being switched on. It is effective at removing moisture from the house, which will hopefully also reduce damp and mould overtime. A video is on the way that will give you an idea of the noise produced at the highest fan speed, which is pretty quiet by comparison to alternatives.
We have a problem with moisture in our laundry room – despite using a condenser dryer, having vents and an open window. Drying clothes in there is similar to walking into a steam sauna, with a layer of moisture on the walls and floor.
This dehumidifier has worked wonders – I switch it on before loading the dryer and it keeps the room dry, whilst collecting an impressive amount of water. My video shows water collected after just a couple of hours of drying a large laundry load. The air in the room remains dry and I don’t have issues with moisture on every surface.
I also use a clothes maiden to dry clothes – it’s excellent for speeding up the drying time on these when not using the dryer.
The dehumidifier comes with a hose, that can be used for continuous emptying, and instructions.
It’s very easy to set up, with several mode options available, plus timer, humidity setting and sleep mode.
The wheels on the bottom make it easy to move, especially on hard floors, whilst the water container is easy to remove and empty.
Does it make a lot of noise? Well, to be honest, I don’t find it to be terribly loud. I’ve replaced a smaller table top dehumidifier with this and they both had a comparable noise level – it’s a little like a desk fan.
Overall, Im really happy – it’s a powerful, slimline dehumidifier that has greatly improved the air quality and moisture level in my laundry room.
Bought this as the cheapest option for actual dehumidifier, and it works well. The tank is a bit small, but it comes with the hose to have it run into the sink, etc, so that’s rigged up now.
Quite quiet, and the built-in sensor turns it on and off automatically.
Other then it has a slight nose it add to the background it work quite well. If you have a humidity issue in your home. It easy to get up and going but i find it good at keep mold and damp away in areas that you might have a issue.
I bought this primarily to replace an expensive-to-use tumble-dryer. This unit has a dedicated ‘clothes drying’ function that emits warm air via a fan whilst extracting a huge amount of water over a short period of time. It has a large water collection reservoir that takes about a day to fill up if used in this mode with a large volume of wet washing to dry. The washing sits on a couple of internal washing lines in a spare unused bathroom but a conventional clothes horse will be just as effective. Drying is complete within 6 hours even if wet and cold outdoors; should be even quicker in the non-winter months.
The ordinary dehumidifying function is also first class and additionally very quiet and intended for longer duration, perhaps for the whole floor of a house, basement or large office.
The unit is on wheels that snap into place and are located in transit, in the water reservoir which is itself to the rear of this unit. When full of water it slides out very easily. The unit is lightweight and easy to move around. The controls are simple, well laid out and easy to operate.
The unit needs to be left to settle for 2 hours once put into its operating position following delivery. After that, it is fine.
The design is modern, unfussy and contemporary and I highly recommend this machine having used it for the last two weeks with great success and zero regret.
Excellent product, but getting the right setting is a bit tricky. Once the selling was achieved it was perfect.
