Was aware that my 13 year old daughter was not as active as ahe thought she was. This watch sorted that out.
Strap comfortable and her sensitive skin likes it.
Great motivator.
This was a winner for me. Basic design, but all the parameters I am used to. It works with the app, and gives me the graphs, which I desire.
Reasonably priced tool to allow you to check your excercise and sleep and warn you if you are sitting too long. The first one lasted 5 years and my wife loves the changeable bracelets that let her match it to her outfits.
Great product, perfect for my needs, step counter was my main reason for buying, but it has other great functions. Stylish, easy to use and set up. Comfortable to wear and has a long running time before it needs charging. Really pleased with this purchase.
Tracker works well, easy to use and is good value for money.
Amazing Quality, Changeable Straps, Useful Features with intuitive app! No complaints here!
So the main reason why I wanted this Fitbit was for the amount of steps, and surprisingly the steps were really accurate! It functions normally and for the price, it’s pretty good. I would recommend this to others.
Delivered on time and easy to set up. Bought for my 11 years old daughter and she loves it. Very good for the price and set up with iPhone
Very fast delivery from Amazon does same as Fitbit at a very reasonable price.
It came next day and is an improvement on the previous one I had.
I use it to check footsteps and my mileage for each day, hoping to reach my targets. Also the heart monitor part is useful to see, keeping an eye on things especially after doing keep fit exercises. The product is easy to understand how to use, although I only use a small part of it.
Like my Fitbit so that I know how many steps I have done as I need to exercise more due to my diabetes.
Encourages me to do more walking.
I bought pretty much the exact same watch about 8 years ago, but the strap finally have out. This is a more basic one compared with those available that measure BP and about every exercise going, but it is accurate on sleep and steps and a neat little watch
I have had this watch a few times. I use it for tracking my work outs/steps.
I don’t think it is very accurate for HR and sleep. The sleep tracking I find useful just to mostly see what time I fell asleep and woke up.
I find the app very easy to use and have been using the APP for a few years. I did try another reasonable priced watch and app but i came back to this one as found it better to use.
only bad point. It doesn’t last more than a year/12 months. I keep buying a new one every 12 months as for the price it is reasonable but what the issue I have is when you pull off the strap to reveal the charging area. each time you pull off the strap the charger gets weaker and eventually brakes. I have 2 break off and one some how the plastic broke off but the metal connectors stayed on. this is now my 4th one. but i do like the app I am used to it, I have very small wrists so was looking for one that is small none bulky and suitable for everyday wear.
so i wear it everyday and replace it roughly every 12 months when the charger brakes off but for the price i find that reasonable.
I wear this everyday. I work in healthcare so its great for knowing date and time. Added bonus of step counting and sleep monitoring. Chargeable straps are good for cleaning. Holds charge really well. I charge once a week for rather heavy usage
of device. App is good, connecting to app can take time if not synced up for a few days. Only down side is the Blood pressure reader flashing rather brightly so i have turned this off. In settings you can have this set automatically or manually so if i want to check my BP i can tap screen as and when.
Best funtion is the alarms. Can set a number of alarms throughout day and watch has a strong vibration for alerts.
You can link to your phone for texts and calls but i dont use this feature. As its just a notification.
I love this watch and I have lived in it. It’s accurate enough and comfortable. Unfortunately, after 2 years of constant wear, I need a replacement strap and this company is no longer selling them on Amazon. I would buy another one of these watches if the seller makes them available again.
Pics are from just 3 years use every day strap from Aug 21 2nd one. When I first got it I couldn’t get the strap off! But eventually did it was difficult but after a few times charging is easier to get oof. its good lots of things on it to track what your doing so far the straps not itching me as some can do I’ve read. Easy to sync with the app. A good tracker for the money I didn’t want to pay too much in case its a fad with me but 3 years on im still using it! Only tske off if change watches or shower but apparently you can wear it in the shower. Looks nice as a watch and can get different colour straps. The colour has come off the silver edges ill try put some nail polish on it lol! & my 2nd strap is starting to go I got last one Aug 21. Sure I’m charging it up more often the sleep mode not too great says am asleep when I wasn’t. So in debate do I buy all new or just a strap? But done much better than hubby’s expensive fitbit his lasted just over 1 year & it broke.
I have this watch for a few months and I’m pretty happy with what I got. It does its job, but we came here to find out what might be wrong with the item, so I’ll leave few notices of mine.
Let’s start with the display. Before I bought it, I managed to miss the fact, that only one part of screen is touch sensitive. Button-like at the bottom of the screen. So when you go through menu, you can only scroll to one direction and if you miss the section you were looking for, then you have to scroll through all menu all over again. Which is a little annoying, but not a deal breaker. What else. I saw a few people mention it, so I’ll just confirm it – once in the sunlight, you can’t see anything. One more thingie. I bought it so I can track my steps in work, so I work with it every day. Somehow, display got scratched very easily, even though, I didn’t bang it anywhere. So keep that in mind.
Bands. Very long, so should be a good fit to everyone. Because of the material, your skin can’t breath through it, so it might get moist under the bands. So don’t forget to take it off from time to time. Other than that everything is fine. At first it was pretty hard to remove both straps for charging, but once you do it, there is no problem with that. As for now it’s not cracked or has any damage. Also, didn’t get loose after many removals. I should mention, that mine is black, so not sure how it is with other colours and staining. In case you are vorried, you won’t miss with black – looks really nice and neat.
Charging. So, as you alredy know, it has a built-in USB charging plug, which is very comfortable. As I already mentioned, it’s pretty hard to remove straps, so at first I was afraid to break it, but so far it’s ok. The watch is not so delicate to break if you use a little bit of force, so don’t worry about it. At leats I’m sure, that I won’t lose my watch, due to loose bands.
The battery lasts around six days for me, which is a tiny bit less than expected, but I don’t mind it. Even when it’s on 10 percent left, it still survives for a full day ( or even longer, since it never died on me), so I’m sure that I’ll reach home with my watch still being alive. Just note, that when it’s on the low battery, you can’t use any of the activity tracing programs. Charging takes about 30-40 minutes, which is pretty fast in my opinion. When I plug it into my computer, it gently vibrates when starts and finishes charging. I have no complaints about the battery.
Water-resistant. Now I bet you wonder if it realy is resistant. After a month of using it, I decided to go with it to the shower. No problem. Did that many times and still have no problem with the watch. Now I can’t say anything about swimming with it, since I haven’t tried that, but shower or getting it wet should be no problem.
Step tracking. Now this is what was the most important for me, when I bought this watch. It works almost great. When I walk around it counts every step I make ( I counted), but only if I go for a bigger distances. If I walk around the house, like to the toilet, kitchen, or somewhere just to grab some item, steps are lost. Like, if you won’t make more than 50 something steps, it resets to 0. So, on the days, when I’m at home, I barely reach 100 steps counted, eventhough I walk way more than that. Sometimes I notice, that 100-200 steps appear out of nowhere, but I guess it might be, that it loads steps from before, but not sure about it. But it’s not like it counts steps while you are sitting, so that is already much better than many other smart watches. Also ussually it doesn’t count steps if you move your hand around, so it’s not that easy to trick this one. It’s pretty accurate.
Heart rate monitor. I can’t realy say anything on this one. It’s eather my heart rate changes drasticaly for real, or it shows nonsense. It can go from 50 bpm to 120 bpm in a twenty minutes while I’m doing nothing. If I wourk out, numbers stay a little higher, so it does read my heart rate to some point, but I don’t look at it too seriously. Also, one day I fainted and I remember seeing extremely high heart rate on app that day, so it works. The question is – how relaeble the information we get? And keep in mind, that I do wear it pretty tight on my hand, but that doesn’t help. I’m not an expert here, so that’s just my opinion.
Sleep tracking. I’m not sure how accurate it is, but I’m sure, that it doesn’t show me sleeping when I’m not. So that’s good news. I assumed, that if heart rate, usually, inacurate, then so should be the sleep tracking. But time shown on the app of me sleeping and waking up is almost precise. But if I wake up for a few minutes at night, that doesn’t show up in the details. So it could be better, but again, I can’t complain for this price.
Alarm. One of the best features, since I alaways miss my alarms. I just don’t hear it. But gentle vibration on my wrist always wakes me up with no problem. Just keep in mind, that your phone must be conected, if not, then no alarm for you. So I always check twice if my phone conected and that it is charged, before going to bed.
Call, texts notification. Now this feature is great. I’m one of those people who doesn’t carry their phone with themselves, so getting notiffication on my wrist is a win. The display is realy small, so the messeges are split in many pages, but it’s enough to understand who is writing and what do they want. Of course, there is a but. You only get notiffications when watch is connected to the phone. Once you leave the range of bluetooth, you don’t get any messeges, which is normal, but when your watch is connected to the phone again it won’t notifie you about messeges you got before.
Same thing with sports tracking activity. If your watch is connected to your phone, then everything is ok. But. And this one is huge for me. I started sports activity and left my phone at home, which is why I need a smart watch, so I don’t have to carry my phone around. I wen’t my ways, walking, running. When I was done, I stopped tracking on watch, but when I came home – nothing. I opened the app and there was no record of activity. I thought, that maybe if I stoped tracking when watch is connected to the phone again, then maybe, activity would be saved on the app. So next time I tried that. Unfortunately, my watch wouldn’t sync with my phone unless the activity woul be stopped, and after stopping it, no record of it would be found on the app. So, if you want to save your track, you need to carry your phone around. This problem took one star from rating, since I can track my activities with my phone, but I don’t like carrying it around when running or doing anything else.
I think I mentioned everything I wanted. You get basic information abaout your daily steps, heart reat, sleep. App doesn’t give any advises, it just shows collected information. At some pont, watch is uselless without a phone. It works, it’s good, it lives through the week and it doesn’t brake easily. I’m happy with it for daily usage.
Sorry for my english, I hope this review helps you a little in decision.
For the price this watch is amazing, it’s almost a third of the price of similar big name brands, but with that cost reduction comes some big draw backs.
The app is very clunky and the support is none existant, multiple emails have all led to either no response or pointing to the app developers who do not respond at all.
You cannot export data, except as a low resolution picture, this is big draw back as all historical data like runs etc is very hard to access and only averages are stored. Ideally you want to be able to export all data such as heart rate to an excel file, or at least integrate with one of the bigger open apps.
The battery life is excellent, I get over a week, but it does this by only taking your heart rate every 10 or 20 minutes, which means you miss massive chunks of data and is near useless as a representative of your day. The only way to take more regular polling is start an exercise on the app, which just isn’t feasible for everyday use. There is no option to change the polling interval, it would be great if you could manually set this to whatever interval you liked.
This is a great entry watch to see if you like the idea, it has definitely got me hooked and now I want something a lot more fully featured.
I have been using this for a few months now, I had a lot of questions so I am trying to answer what I wanted to know
The watch face is clear and accurate so works well as a watch
Battery life is good and it is easy to charge very quickly in any USB port
It is waterproof, showering is fine and I have used it the swimming pool for 40 minutes at a time without incident however as there is no swimming mode it doesn’t register the activity well and if you use for aquafit as I did it just thought I was walking and I had to have it very tight to my wrist to avoid it turning off activity mode.
Step measurements, seems pretty accurate although a very bumpy road will add a few steps in a car
Sleep monitoring, basic but quite good if you don’t want to pay for the better apps on your phone. My only niggle is it seems to think all sleep starts around 11-12pm so if you are a night owl like me sat on the sofa late at night, stationary for a while it registers as ‘awake’ sleep not late to bed which then distorts my overall sleep data.
The strap is comfortable to wear all day and very adjustable for all sizes. It keeps its colour fairly well. I am on my second strap as the band that hold strap down broke after 8 months but was fairly easy to replace.
Phone sync, this happens manually every time you go into the app on your phone, I have used both an iPhone and an Android with this and can confirm that both sync steps and activities to the relevant health file on the phones, however it doesn’t then sync to My Fitness Pal weight loss app as I had hoped and that may be the same with other similar products that have a list of approved devices and this isn’t on the list.
Notification of incoming calls, texts social media etc, did work but I have found on both phones it did drop out, my iPhone was fairly easy to reconnect but I have not been able to reconnect my Android phone despite it saying it being connected it doesn’t alert me anymore. I do get movement reminders as programmed.
In summary if you just want a decent fitness tracker this is perfect for you, if you want all the benefits of a Fitbit or iWatch you may be better to look at them.
Very simple to setup. Just download the app, pair the device and you’re off. Fill in a little personal information on the app for a more accurate measurement of your efforts. Very simple to use via tapping and then holding your finger down until an activity starts. Comfortable to wear. Only two issues I can find with it. One it is very hard to read the screen in direct sunlight. Night time or indoors are fine. There is a nack of for flicking your wrist so that the screen starts displaying. I have yet not mastered it. You can still just tap the screen and it will display as normal. This is bit annoying when in mid exercise. Cannot argue with the price. Its roughly a quarter the cost of the equivalent Fitbit. So you get what you pay for. If the screen could display clearly in direct sunlight I would award 5 stars.
I have my fitness tracker just over 2 months. Its seems to be working really well I’v had no problems, it tracks my sleep and as far as I can tell it is tracking all my steps. It really comfy & not too chunky. The strap is secure and the battery is very good, I get about 5-6 days. Two things to note, 1: make sure you check comparability with your phone & 2: for anyone like me who has never had a fitness tracker before, when you are removing the straps for charging it almost feels like you might break it when pulling the straps off but you wont, you do have to pull really hard to remove them, I was terrified I was going to break something!
Really like this tracker and for half the price of the top brands it looks the same and does the same things.
I wanted a Fitbit but didn’t want to pay the price in case it would be a fad for just a few weeks so brought this one instead at a fraction of the cost. I am generally quite pleased with it as it records my steps well & I have also set it to include dancing, cycling & walking separately if required. It estimates calories burnt & pulse rate, however although it shows my pulse rate as minimum & maximum throughout the day for some reason it does not download the two extremes each day which is disappointing. it also never ceases to amaze me how it records your , deep & light sleep patterns. I have not tried to see how waterproof it is yet as automatically I remove it when showering. At only 34 it was a great alternative to a Fitbit.
…I have waited since around Christmas time before writing a review so that it can be put through its paces.
I bought one for my partner ~ due to her cystic fibrosis ~ it’s paramount to monitor her vital signs.
The heart monitor is perfect.
Walking pedometer is beyond perfect … It shows up on an online app exactly where you are/been.
The choices of clock faces are helpful as they vary in size.
The battery needs a quick charge around 10 to 14 days.
I’ve tried drowning the watch in a multitude of ways and depths, it still continues working perfectly. It refused to die.
Setting it up, it basically sets itself up.
The VeryFitPro app I love it. I can view my every action from day one, which has been helpful as I can send my partners information to the Brompton hospital.
To cut to the quick … It’s fantastic, the sleeping app is just about perfect. I’ve neurotically challenged it to catch it out. You see, I never wear watches, that is until I set up my partners, it was easy to realise the benefits, be it walking, cycling, running. I’m amazed how many steps I take when just playing with the dog.
I’ve seen similar watches at the higher and lower range most have been faulty in the time I’ve owned this one.
My partner enjoys seeing her emails, texting apps and being told she hasn’t moved for an hour.
Setting the alarm for her four hourly medications is a life changer ~ possibly saver.
Overall I cannot fault this amazing (to me) watch.
Many other watches don’t have the heart rate nor are they waterproof. You may think “so what” yet with CF and other life threatening diseases such knowledge is of massive importance and help.
TBH I originally thought these watches were another commercial gimmick. Two weeks ago the information saved my partners life, her CF showed her vital signs to be in the … ring the Royal Brompton hospital immediately. From there the RB did their magic and she returned home three days ago from the date of writing this.
I am enthusiastic about this technology because after testing it out it has remained consistently accurate.
Wife has a fitbit which I bought for her a few months ago. I already have a Garmin for running so was not prepared to spend 100+, this little gadget totally fits the bill. I have been using it pretty constantly since arrival a couple of weeks ago and it has done exactly what it says on the tin. Counts steps, watches whilst you sleep and connects nicely to VeryFit Pro app which is very fitbit like. Charging I think is a dream with a built in USB to connect into my laptop. If I had to justify my holding back a star it would be the user manual which is clearly not written / edited by someone with English as their first language. To be honest this is not a problem. Everything is managed through the app and is easy. I would recommend this albeit on the basis of 2-3 weeks usage
I had a few issues with this and the seller responded very quickly to help identify that the phone it was being linked with through Bluetooth was not compatible. My wife who I got if for changed phones between my getting the tracker and giving it to her. It does state on the page about compatibility. We have swapped trackers and I now have this and it works really well and does everything it should and is equally as good as the Fitbit which my wife now has. My only concern long term is if the strap will last as you have to pull it off the device so that the USB Charge point is accessible and I worry that repeated use of this will eventually break it however this has not happened and I am also going to invest in a spare strap (available on Amazon) just in case.
