You could just buy a nightlight but this one can be built so offers a craft able gift that’s much more personal. A great fun light or good quality. Would make a good gift.

I matched the design in the listing as I liked the look of this, with the positioning of the shells and mermaid etc. Arguably not all the accessories needed to be used, especially the stones as I only used a third of these.
Easy to assemble using the provided glue dots and instructions.

This craft is really cute to make and display in your child’s room when they’ve finished. My 5 year old little girl had lots of fun making this, with all the supplies included it’s ideal for a not too messy craft project, with an impressive result
We have made others similar to this before and she always loves it. This one is slightly smaller than the typical size so will work if you have a smaller space to display your finished night light and also if you want to finish the craft quicker. There is still enough details to keep kids busy and to enjoy the making and creating process
We got this for my 7 year old granddaughter. She loves to craft and loves mermaids so i’m sure she will be excited to make this and putting next to her bed using it as a night light. The contents that come with the kit are very well made with clear instructions. It takes 3 AAA batteries so no worries about electrics. Once assembled it can be displayed and your child can take pride in the thought that they actually made it.

An unusual gift idea when you are stuck for ideas! Assemble your own unicorn nightlight. Simple and easy to follow instructions. There is a base provided to which you stick the figures etc. Place the fairy lights in and replace the dome and you have a night light. Good for children and adults! A nice thing to try out on a wet afternoon!
This unicorn night light set comes filled with everything needed to create a small but unique nightlight.
The dome itself is fairly small but it is lovely. The base has lights attached to it that light up the surrounding area area once the craft is complete.
There is a small bag included filled with rocks, figures and trees that can be placed in the dome anywhere you like. Designing the nightlight is very fun and relaxing and fun for any age.
The DIY unicorn night light is super cute and would make a great gift for children or anyone who likes unicorns and doing a bit of crafting. It is relatively easy to assemble, the included instructions are clear and easy to follow.
It’s worth noting that if you want the small stones in the set to be spread out more evenly across the base, applying some glue to the base and pouring the stones on would be a good solution (after you have attached all the figures to the base with the double sided tape). I think the night light would also last longer too, as kids will be less inclined to shake it!

The instructions make it very easy to assemble this on your own or if you’re helping someone else – the pictures are clear and the words are clear and easily understood.
There is obviously a limit to how creative you can be with the layout, but it’s still really enjoyable and I found it incredibly relaxing to do while watching a film.
Once setup, you have a colourful snd rather adorable ornament and by night, a lovely warm light source.
