This highly anticipated trequel continues the contemporary saga of good versus evil as the teenage daughters and sons of Disney’s most infamous villains – Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay (also known as the villain kids or VKs) – return to the Isle of the Lost to recruit a new batch of villainous offspring to join them at Auradon Prep. When a barrier breach jeopardises the safety of Auradon during the departure off the Isle, Mal resolves to permanently close the barrier, fearing that nemeses Uma and Hades will wreak vengeance on the kingdom. Despite her decision, an unfathomable dark force threatens the people of Auradon, and it’s up to Mal and the VKs to save everyone in their most epic battle yet.

Discovered these films after the children saw some of the songs on YouTube. They’re actually really good fun, and the songs are quite addictive (now added to Spotify for car journeys). Typical Disney feel good and moral messages (Good Vs Evil) throughout, but you know what you’re getting. It’s fun teasing the children by picking faults though “How come all Disney adults had children at the same time, so that they’re now all the same age?”. 🙂
My daughters have only just got into these films so when I saw the boxset I had to get them it and it is a massive hit. Great product, quick delivery
Personally I find this franchise way better than High School Musical. Kenny Ortega has definitely improved. I love the touch on Disney’s roots while embracing a new generation of characters, stories and fans.
My 10 year old daughter had been asking to watch these for ages, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy them. She absolutely loves them, and even as a parent I quite enjoy them. The songs are really catchy & you will find yourself singing along to them.
All work fine, the cases and sturdiness did make me question if the were copies… I have lots of Disney DVDs and this packaging just wasn’t quite right. Saying that all worked perfectly with good quality
Bought these as my daughter was watching all the song videos on YouTube and I wondered what the story would be and I have to say that we all thoroughly enjoyed them. Watching my daughter sing her little heart out and dance along was brilliant. My husband thought the acting wasn’t very good though, a bit hamm like he said, but he’s a grouch .
Great DVDs I’ve seen a few reviews saying the disks don’t work, I have to admit when buying these I was very unsure whether I should or not but I bit the bullet and let me tell you I am glad I did because the disks work perfectly I haven’t had an issue with them. And I just love watching Descendants all the time.
Good series of movies, aimed squarley at children, and my little one loves them.
Good songs throughout – typical disney pop type songs that will get stuck in your head.
Disney trying something slightly different by following the baddies rather than the goodies.

She had been listening to the songs non stop and forcing me to let her listen to it through my car speakers. At first I found myself thinking “what the hell is this?” But after listening to “Do what you gotta do” and “Chillin like a villain” a few times, I understood just how good it was and I became curious about the movies. I originally preordered this for her birthday but I’m now more eager to watch the next movie after the first movie than I imagined I would. So, in short, it’s really good and you should buy this
