The Lanyard is really high quality and worth it just for this. The propeller protectors for great and are of a difference size for bottom and top, lots of screws in there and some spare propellers can’t fault i
Wanted to have a controller strap as I was running out of hands on a recent filming job with my drone. Have not used the other items in the package yet but I’m sure the spare props might come in handy.
The screw connectors stick out a bit and I have to unscrew every time I put the controller in the bag. Everything else is ok. Not checked the spare propellers yet.
Love the propeller guards, use them everytime.
didnt use the propeller yet, other reviewers made me uneasy, saying they are not good quality.
BEWARE, one of the metal studs that screw into the controller snapped off INTO the controller. One screwed in, no problems, the other one bareley went in a few turns and got stuck. Tried unscrewing it and it broke. Now i have an unusable neck strap and a very sharp metal rod sticking out of the bottom of the controller. Theoritically i can use the good one screwed in and connect the other part to it to create a loop but its now what it was designed for. Plus the whole weight would be on one screw instead of dividing it for two.
Super dissapointed but it was cheap.
Pros.. very handy, nice strap and always good to have spare propellers.
Cons… not as easy to put into carry bag/case with the strap fixing screwed into the bottom of controller, propeller restraints are a bit too solid and not as easy to slip on, they work but so would an elastic band!
I’ll deal with each item one at a time-
1. The replacement props feel very thin and extremely brittle. They will not be going on my 850 drone. I expect they’d vibrate themselves apart and I’m not willing to risk it when I can get a full set of DJI props for under 15.
2. The prop guards don’t include an illustration to show how they go on. Each can go on front or back and in 2 orientations so overall there are 3 wrong combinations and 1 correct. Once on the arms they are also difficult to remove without a little force. This force is transferred into the drone’s folded arms.
3. The neck strap has padding where it sits against the back of your neck. It is cheap, thin imitation leather which causes you to sweat. The parts of the metal clips the strap passes through at either end are so wide that the strap can easily twist in them, meaning your first job each flight is to untwist the strap.
4. The eyelets that screw into the bottom of the remote are the best quality part of this kit. They have a rubber pad that allows you to tighten them and be sure they’ll stay tight. They feel of good construction although none of the edges are rounded so can feel a little sharp. They are quite big so I need to remove them each time I pack the drone into its flight case.
It may look like you’re getting a lot for your money with this kit, but do as I wish I had done. If you’re spending all the money a mini 3 pro costs, buy good quality accessories.
The strap is a great addition, but can also be used on any item needing a strap attached as on clips. Propellers feel inferior to originals but work fine and useful to have as spares. I like the protection clips as good for transporting device and protecting any accidental damage.
I’m always wary about putting aftermarket products on my drone, especially when the products I’m putting on are largely responsible for keeping the drone in the air. At first glance the propellers don’t feel as good as the original ones but after market propellers never do. They feels lighter which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, I tested them out close to the ground for 20 minutes before committing to use them at higher altitudes but I honestly can’t really tell the difference in flight. I’ve had these on for around about a month now and have flown in reasonably rough weather for a drone this size with no issue so the propellers get a thumbs up from me,.
The propeller protectors fit really well and are great for keeping everything nice and secure during transit.
The lanyard is good quality and comfortable to wear. It definitely gives me peace of mind when using the controller and frees up your hands if you need to use them.
All in all I think this is a really good set and is reasonably priced.
All in all I have found this to be an excellent accessories kit for the DJI Mini 3 Pro drone. It contains the following contents:
1 * Lanyard
2 * Solid CNC Aluminum Alloy screws
2 * Propeller fixators
8 * Replacement Propellers
12 * screws
1 * screwdriver
The lanyard is my favourite of the pack. It is sturdy and connects well to the controller. The strap is nice and wide and sits nicely on my neck without digging into it. I’ve yet to use the propellers, as my originals are still holding up fine, but they do appear to be well made. The propeller fixators are great in stopping the propellers from flopping around inside the carry case, so preventing possible damage to the drone.
I tested the full set of props in calm conditions because they are a tighter fit than the official dgi ones and just feel and look a bit cheaper than the real thing (ie not rubber tipped). They passed the test flight, and seemed to fly well in calm conditions.
The prop covers are spot on, easy to get on and off. They protects your prop tips in transit.
The remote strap is good quality for the price and keeps the RC unit safe whilst flying.
This really is a tidy little kit for the price. I do not regret buying it at all!
The lanyard is an absolute must-have, at least for me. I’ve had one on all my previous drone controllers and I’m so used to being able to quickly let go of it and have my hands free that I really missed it on the Mini 3 Pro. It’s good quality, connects easily and firmly, and it does the job perfectly.
The propeller holders are good too and make it much easier to pack the drone away in a bag without worrying about the props flopping about and getting damaged. Most of the time I keep mine in a custom made (3D printed) holder inside my camera bag and I was worried it wouldn’t fit with the propeller holder in place but it’s fine – it doesn’t add much bulk.
The propellers also look OK and very similar to the originals. I haven’t needed to use them yet but I’ll be happy to when the time comes as they look to be up to the job in terms of quality.
This is a good budget kit for DJI mini 3 pro. The strap/lanyard feels comfortable around the neck, is adjustable, simple to attach, and the quality seems pretty good. The mounting screws were a great fit, however, because of their size and design, holding the RC close to the body wasn’t comfortable. The propellers are of decent quality, and they do the job, but random fit and no A or B indication. The propeller guards, they work great, feel sturdy, and are made of solid plastic. Easy to put on and take off, and kept the propellers snug and secure. Overall, the quality seems OK for the price.
Nice kit for Mini 3 Pro
The propeller guards snap on securely and the lanyard is great quality, really feels secure on the controller and the padded neck part is really comfortable, I was really surprised just how good the quality was on this tbh.
The parts all seem well made and higher quality than the price would have you think.
Impressive kit (oh, and the spare propellers are basically a bonus really and come with a little tool kit, much the same as the official ones)
This set consists of three separate items. You have the smart controller lanyard, the propeller guards and a set of propellers for the Mini 3 Pro.
I’m pretty impressed with all of the above, especially if you consider the price. They are all very useful items for anyone who has a drone.
The lanyard is surprisingly good quality, with a nice anti-slip padding for the neck, dual adjustable strap length and two solid metal screws attached on two carabineers. The connection is not only rock solid, but allows the lanyard to twist around, which makes fitting and wearing way more comfortable. I normally land my drone on my hand, same goes for take-off. Holding and operating the remote in one hand and holding the drone in the other is not as easy as it seems. With the lanyard I only use the hand to operate the remote. Plus you won’t be able to accidentally drop it, which could do some serious damage. They do fit in my original DJI Fly More Combo bag – all I have to do is unsnap the carabineers.
The propeller guards used to come in the Fly More Combo Set. But for whatever reason (money?) DJI decided to not add it to the Mini 3 Pro versionI’m glad I finally have them. It felt a lot more fiddly before to put the drone into the bag. The guards are flexible enough to easily snap them on and off. They really do a great job.
I wasn’t expecting much after propellers. I have a spare original set that came with the Fly More Combo, but also received some more as a bonus with the filters for the drone. I wasn’t happy with the latter though as they were very thin and too flexible. I’m quite certain they would reduce the drone’s speed and maneuverability. However the propellers I got with this set are almost the same thickness as the originals. A little bit thinner, but hardly noticeable. I would not be concerned about fitting them on my drone.
If I was very picky, I wouldn’t mind for this set to have a slightly nicer box. But the current plain carton one is ok I guess and hopefully doesn’t add to the price.
Overall I’m really happy with this set. I got three really good quality and much needed accessories for my drone. All that for only 17If you just bought a Mini 3 Pro, you should get this set. You won’t have at least 2 out of 3 of those items anyway, because DJI doesn’t supply them with the drone. Highly recommended.
Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it helpful.
This is a decent budget kit for the Mini 3 Pro. The strap has Karabiner type clips so could be used for any kit bag with loops, and includes threaded connectors specifically for the Mini 3 Controller. I like the propeller protectors particularly, as always feel they are a little susceptible to damage the carry bag when in transit.
A couple of sets of propeller blades are included, with screws. I haven’t tried these and am not really sure I will, since the props are a fundamental part of the drone and DJI original versions are available for a few pounds. If a third party prop failed causing the drone to drop out of the sky, there would likely be little support from the drone manufacturer. Still, they are useful to keep in the spares kit in case there’s no other option available and an existing prop takes damage.
Good value regardless, the lanyard is decent and versatile and the protectors useful.
This set is good value and a nice addition for the mini 3 pro. The propeller guards that keep them safe whilst travelling is a really good idea and fit easily. The remote lanyard has been amazing and screws into the bottom of the remote but it takes up a lot of room in your bag especially if you have the remote with the screen.
The spare propellers with screws and screwdriver are so handy to keep in your kit, they measure the same as the originals. Overall it is really good quality and I am very happy with the set.
This accessories kit arrives in a plain cardboard box and inside you’ll find 8x blades, 2x propeller guards, screwdriver with screws, and a lanyard strap.
The blades look pretty much identical to the originals with only a slight variance in colour. In use, I “think” they are slightly louder than the originals but if they are, the difference is very minimal as it sounds practically the same as the originals. Might just be me imagining it. The little screwdriver and screws are a nice addition as you have everything you need to change the blades in one set. The blade holders are a nice addition as they keep the blades folded away and secure when placing your drone in a bag, so they don’t get damaged.
The lanyard is the main part in my opinion as it has screw in connectors that secure it your controller to secure it in place. This can then be quickly removed by pressing the clasp for a quick release, leaving the screw in connectors in place. The strap allows me to let go of the controller and it just hangs around my neck, so my hands are free to do other things when needed. The lanyard is very strong and is comfortable to have around the back of my neck.
A good set of blades with a decent lanyard
A nice little accessory pack for the DJI drone owner which would make a nice stocking filler at an affordable price. You get a very good neck strap for the controller, with proper metal clips, a pair of propellor protectors that clip aroundthe folded drone, and a spare set of ‘low noise’ propellors with screws and even a screwdriver. Gret value and sure to be appreciated.
The set of Mini 3 pro accessories form Makerfire comes with a few items that have improved my experience with the drone, or at least made it easier.
The stand out item is actually the lanyard/ neck strap that is very nice quality. The metal adaptors screw into the base of the DJI RC perfectly and provide you with holes into which you can clip the lanyard. The clips are the swivel type, making it easy to avoid tangles, and to top it off are also made of metal improving durability. The strap itself is wide and tough, with an elasticated section in the middle, which would sit around the neck, making it very comfortable.
The prop guards fit perfectly, I have been using ones I 3D printed myself, but the Makerfire ones are a bitter fit and have a much better finish.
Finally, the spare props appear to be comparable to the stock props in many regards, they are darker in colour but the size and stiffness is close enough that I can’t tell the difference (plus you get a
Only word of caution would be around the lanyard screw-in adaptors, they add a bit of length to the RC and may impact how the RC fits into whatever bag or case you’re using. If there is an issue you can unscrew them but for that’s not something I want to be doing every time.
Worth it for the lanyard and prop straps alone, the spare props and prop screws are a bonus.
This replacement kit comes with a strap that can connect easily to the controller. It is a sturdy material that is adjustable. The strips are thick and feel comfortable around your neck.
There are also replacement propellers included for the mini 3 pro drone. There are 8 propellers included in the kit.
DJI Mini 3 Pro Propeller Protector, Propellers for Mini 3 Pro Accessories
This accessories kit contains 1x Controller Lanyard, 2x Propeller Holder, 1x Propeller replacement kit which is actually very good value and while there is a 15% discount you actually get this for 14.44.
The accessories are very good quality the lanyard screws into housing of the controller very neatly and and it does provide a more secure fitting so if you accidentally drop the control for whatever reason the control being wrapped around your neck wont fall to the ground. While the strap is fully adjustable.
The 2x propeller holders hold the propellers in place very neatly during transit, personally i use a solid box however, adding these for extra protection is much better than having the blades which can still move slightly while in the surrounding. i added the propellers holders and it still slotted in place within the case so now the blades don’t move about so there should be no need to replace the blades if it was loose within a bag for instance.
The propellers look very similar to the original blades you do receive all screws to allow you to change the blades if one was to get damaged. the kit provides 8x blades, 10x screws, 1x small screwdriver.
they do say there low noise propellers i can’t test these at this moment in time with there being alot of rain around and no sign of it easing up or high wind i could only give a visual in inspection and analyses these blade do fit the mini 3 perfectly (its worth noting to anyone these will not fit the mini 2) the quality again are very good the profile are the same so if there anything like the original counter parts i would suggest they should be low noise. (will update when the weather is better)
Overall its a good value accessories kit for the DJI mini 3 pro
I currently have a DJI Mini 2, but plan to upgrade to a Mini 3 in the future. This set is a good combination of spare props, neck holder (only for the new controller with screen on), holders to keep the props in place when folded and tiny screwdriver.
These are good value at 13.99 via a discount voucher on the product page at the time of review. Genuine props by themselves are quite expensive, so these aftermarket ones, along with the rest of the set, make them more than worth it.
The props are the correct size and shape. Having compared them with a friend’s Mini 3 as well as the quality of the props on the Mini 2, they look and feel like OEM quality. I can’t comment on how they work in flight, but can’t see any reason why they shouldn’t work as well.
This is a bargain set for the price and definitely recommended. I’ll be keeping these by for when I get a Mini 3 and can then update my review.
This little pack is great value for money and very good quality. The strap for the remote is well made and strong fits the remote well and gives me confidence in its use. A full spare set of props and screws are provided along with a screwdriver to replace them if you don’t already have one. The prop holders easily push onto the drone and do a great job holding the props in place when I put it in my bag. Very happy with this kit. Good quality and good value.
