Very easy to set up and set to the chime and volume you want. I like the volume adjustment as I am often in the garden so can set the volume to high so I don’t miss visitors as I have in the past.
The instructions are a little small to read but they are easy to follow. I don’t own a drill so I was very pleased that the bell was easy to stick by the front door using the double sided sticky pads. Sound from the receiver is very clear at the default volume setting.
i just pulled the plastic tab from the button, fixed the the side of my door.
Plugged in the other end and switched the plug on.
That simple no programming or messing about, instant doorbell.
i guess it plays various tunes, but not interested lol
exactly what i wanted.
It is exceptionally easy to set up as a new system or to add to an existing blink system.
Installation simple and instructions received and easy to follow.
Image quality good. Requires Lithium batteries which don’t appear to last longer than a few months with heavy usage and neighbours setting the camera off.
You either require an alexa or an indoor camera system for the chime features.
Completely rubbish door knocker on our new door, can’t remove it to install a new one, so this is fitting a need. And its a device I wasn’t even aware existed…never thought about it. Lots of (strange) ring tones, but doesn’t matter which you pick. It’s not heard at the door, just from the receiver (I guess if you have it near the door the person might hear it). Fitting a need in our house! No idea how much energy it’s going to suck up from the mains plugged in all the time but we’ll see. No idea of anyone will rip it off the door either, but cheap enough not to worry about it!
Only annoyance so far is that the sticky tape connected it to the door is white. The bell button is black…..and our door is dark (obviously this depends on buyer) but is very noticeable connected to the door. Went over the white with a black permanent marker to try and dull it down. Much better…
