Seen another make of this bit of kit in a video. Looked them up but been a DIYer didnt see the reason to buy them so looked around and found these. It has good reviews and needless to say I am happy with them and the pouch to keep them neat and tidy. More compact for taking to do jobs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice kit with a pouch to keep tidy

Great bit of lot for when your toolbar is short on space. I got sick of carrying around a dozen screwdrivers and struggling to keep them organised in my smaller tool bag. Whilst I don’t think these ones would stand up to some of the abuse that my other screwdrivers have, it’s a trade that I can live with. The two handles are comfortable and easy to use, and everything rolls up nicely into a small package. The only downside for me is the small electrical screwdriver. It’s awful to use, difficult to even hold properly, and has been thrown west and replaced with a normal one. I recommend spending a quid at screwfix and getting one if you buy this set.

Love these. Much better than having loads of screwdrivers cluttering up your tool box. These being in a very useful storage pouch makes whichever driver you need so easy to find. Typical Draper Expert quality. I’m sure these will give me many years of service.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIve owned the alternatives, and they often meet their end after I lend my tools to people who don’t know how to use them. I decided to opt for a cheaper version of the well known set because at least then I would wince so much as the terminal screwdriver being returned to its resting place, albeit with the tip sheared off. This set has been as good as, if not better than my previous set. Durability is perfect and it comes with all the bits you need to do most jobs round the house, or in my case, a factory.

Some of my work requires the installation of various telecoms platforms at widely located data centres. Different manufactures like to use different types of screws etc…. This set has everything I need in one tidy bundle which sits neatly in my backpack.

Bought this during Black Friday sale, honestly for the price at the time which was half the cost of the Wera equivalent, I personally prefer this set as the 2 different handles make working that much easie

The only thing I’d change is the nylon yool roll style case , ideally it could use being a bit bigger, that said I’m struggling to criticise and that’s the best I can do. GREAT SET, definitely recommended

5.0 out of 5 stars no point paying the crazy Wera / CK prices, this set is grea

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAs an Electrician working in maintenance, i never know what size/type of screws i might encounter.
I’ve not needed to grab any other of my screwdrivers since i bought this set, it fits in my pocket just fine, having two handles is great especially one being a spinny one.
    Plus they’re rated at 1000v.
    Definitely recommend

The price is good for what you get – 2 screwdriver handles which both have their purpose (one is more of a precision screwdriver handle and the other is suited for higher torque) you get every screwdriver bit you need as an electrician and the kit is durable enough , though not as well built as the big brands like wera etc . But to me the handles are very comfortable and better than the big brands.

As a professional user of tool I usually shy away from draper in favour of more expensive brands but I can honestly say this screwdriver set is as good as any I have EVER used.

A good selection of bits and they feel really comfortable in the hand.

Why draper choose to cheapen the set by including the electric tester I’m not sure otherwise a great set that will hopefully last the test of time

These replaced a set of individual Wiha VDE screwdrivers which just took up too much space. The whole set is barely 18x10x6cm. This is now my main go-to set for everything except when I need a ratchet or power. The fact they are VDE is just a bonus.

They have had only moderate use to date, so cannot comment on longevity but they seem good quality and fit together nicely with little or no play. You can buy the handles and ‘bits’ separately, so if anything gets damaged, it can be replaced, which is a BIG bonus.

Good value and good quality, plus the 18 piece set has everything most users would need
    – Highly recommended –

    Cracking quality screwdriver set.
Screwdriver heads are: Flat head, Pozidriv and Philips.
4 Draper TX-STAR are also handy, especially as more of these are being used in the Telcoms World.
I have no idea why a Mains tester is in the set as they are not to be used under any circumstance.
Only issue, and it is a small issue, is that the pouch for the set is a bit small, but that should not distract anyone who wants a good quality set of electrical screw drivers for home or commercial use.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is the 3rd set of these I’ve bought in 5 years bearing in mind my tools as a commercial service engineer have a very hard life.

I find them extremely useful and it saves me digging through my bag looking for different screwdrivers and losing them in the process.

I prefer the thickness of the handle in comparison to the WERA brand I tried a couple of years ago, those were just a bit too narrow to get any real grip of tight screws that are sometimes stubborn and require more torque.

There is a bit for every job – apart from sockets you really are covered.

The smaller head is also ideal for electrical connections on electronic parts which you really don’t want to over tighten and considering its included is beyond helpful.

As for the electrical test screwdriver I really don’t use it and I’ll stick with a meter but it’s a nice addition anyway.

Can’t fault these. They last long enough to make replacing them every year and a half of heavy use cost effective. I think I’d be less excited if they cost 6 times as much like some other manufacturers.

Recommended purchase and well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersMy trade is as a BMS installation engineer, and use screwdrivers almost daily. I was slightly sceptical of durability before purchase, but I can confidently say the quality is absolutely on the button. I don’t abuse my screwdrivers by any means, but even so, the handle and blades are still in great condition even with day after day of use. The only reason I’ve marked down the “Durability” score is that whilst the tool itself is beyond reproach, the nylon case isn’t quite as hardy. Sadly one of the flaps is tearing it’s stitching because I draw and holster the bits in that storage flap so often. That aside, it has become a permanent fixture on my belt, and I readily and confidently recommend it to anyone, trade or DIY, who has need of a compact screwdriver set. Draper can be rightly proud of this product.
