I have a frozen shoulder and my partner bought this for me. It’s one of the best heat wraps so much nicer than microwave heat wraps and full temperature control to suit. Also if you fall asleep you are safe in the knowledge that it will switch off after 3 hours

I get very stiff shoulders and a stiff neck from sitting on the computer all day, and this is the best thing for it. I use it at least for 30 minutes each day, and it keeps my shoulder and neck joints mobile. Costs pennies to run, and has payed itself back already multifold. Highly recommended.

Love this warming pad. It’s very easy to use and excellent quality. It does get very warm on the highest setting. It’s not very good for draping around your neck. It’s not very bendable and really needs to be flat. Wonderful on your back and abdomen.

Got this for my uncle recently who who is in a lot of pain with bone cancer. He finds it great to give relief in a different way to medication. He described it as a comfort.

Keeps your neck and shoulders nice and warm, however the velcro closer at the front is very stiff and sticks in your neck on both sides.

I used this for gallbladder pain. So much better than a hot water bottle. Lasts for 3 hrs, turns itself off and then you can switch it on again. Great for any muscle pain .

I had been given this heat pad and used it regularly for about 5 years so it had reached a fair age before it died. It made sense to replace like for like and happy I did. An ideal, good value piece of equipment especially during really cold spells so you can apply instant heat rather than turning on the heating!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love this product, even my husband has one and I have given one to my niece.
I love the fact that it turns itself off so you cant ever wonder if you left it on!!
If I was going to be super picky, I would ask the designers to turn off the blue light that it emits after it
turns itself off. A good safety feature but if you are light sensitive with regards to sleeping, rather annoying.
The blue light does not go through night eye shades so I tolerate it.

Bought this to replace a cheaper one bought from Amazon a few days earlier, which failed to work properly.

I decided to spend a bit more money this time and this one seems to work fine, but I have only used it twice, time will tell I guess.

Arrived promptly and safely. Wow this has to be the best heating pad ever!!! I have chronic pain and this pad is perfect to pop behind my back or place where the pains are. It gets lovely and warm and is easy to use. It’s about the size of a cushion and well made.
So it is now the end of 2019 and I’m STILL recommending this heat pad as the best that there is out there! I have Fibromyalgia and this has been better for me than all of the pain killers my doctor prescribes me! I put it on first thing in the morning when I wake to relieve the stiffness before I attempt to get out of bed, I use it during the day when I need some relief and last thing at night just before I drop off to sleep. It saddens me that so many reviews say it doesn’t get hot enough?! The last setting is so hot that I can’t use it for long even on my clothes!! I think all the people that have given bad reviews are not taking care when using their heat pad. So here is a how to use this product – when you first switch it on put on the highest setting 5 then when hot turn it down to 2, if you are going to use the heat pad on your back I recommend that you use a few pillows to prop yourself upright then place the heat pad between yourself and the final pillow. Once your pillow retains the heat you can remove the heat pad. I recommend a memory foam pillow as they retain the heat very well. Never lie on this heat pad/ruck it up or it will break and go faulty. Keep it flat if you can too. I love my heat pad and if you show it some care and love back, it will last a lot longer.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersI don’t know how I ever lived without this before!
I have a condition that causes joint pain and dislocations, over stretched muscles and tendons as well as osteoarthritis. I have always used hot water bottles as most heating devices don’t stay warm long enough, but no more for me (once I can afford another one of these!).
The mat itself isn’t as big I was expecting as sizes don’t mean much to me on paper. It’s about the size of a cushion cover you would have on your sofa. The material is a very soft almost fleece like material and is very cosy making the heat a nice heat. You can’t feel the heating elements through the material, and is flexible. It isn’t very floppy however like a towel would be, has a little more rigidity than that however does bend and fold into any shape.
I use this wrapped around my hip and is big enough for this. Comes up to mid thigh and just tucks under my bum so I get heat in all the right places. I also use this for my neck and shoulder. Whilst it folds into the right position and wraps round my neck, it doesn’t stay put. I have bought some Velcro to attach and wrap to keep it in place.
I have sat and lay on this and not a single problem.
The cord is reasonably long, long enough for me and where I sit and lie at night and not pull.
I find that if this is pushed against skin then the highest setting of 5 can sometimes be a bit too hot and I turn it down. The material is soft enough to be held against the skin which I prefer. But it does get hot enough to provide warmth through clothing but it doesn’t feel hot through clothing. The pad doesn’t have ties so it can lift away and this reduces the heat felt, but all you have to do is rest an arm on it. I feel that perhaps people want a perfect product that sticks to them at their ideal temperature and they don’t make allowances for the different ways this is designed to be used. Don’t let poor reviews put you off because it doesn’t stick to your skin all the time, just rest something on it, or sit close to the arm of the chair etc etc, it’s not like you can use it walking around as it has to be plugged in.
It easily unplugs at the pad if you need to get up but keep it in position whilst your away. I often do this whilst getting a tea or wine, and return back and plug back in. It stays warm for a good few minutes when finished on top heat.
It has a 3 hour timer. Press one button twice and it’s back on at full heat for another 3 hours. Hardly a big issue. Two easy press buttons also for those with painful hands. The wee remote bit is on the wire, but again is palm size so it easily fits in your hand if you do have hand pain. No messy instructions to try and understand. It is literally plug in and press on. Simple.
The remote bit lights up so you can use this is the dark once you know which button does what. But each action creates a light so you know exactly what you have just done. All these features make it great for elderly and young alike. I am only 31 and love it as much as my 78 year old grandmother.
I would recommend this for many things, including winter heating, tummy aches and pains with IBS and period pains, tummy cramps, arthritis, joint pain and muscle spasms. The list goes on.

I have had this heat pad for four months now, and use it regularly. I mainly use it for period pain and the dreaded PMS lower back pain too. I bought it to use instead of a hot water bottle.

It has five heat settings. I mainly use 4 or 5 when I have bad period pain (when it’s bad it’s bad!) and find it is usually hot enough to help ease the pain. I also use it on my lower back on a lower setting, which is enough for milder pain. I suggest lying down with the pad positioned wherever you want it on your back, and for me it’s comfortable enough that I don’t notice it (just keep the cable out the way). You can also use it while sitting on the sofa but you may find it slips down if you lean forward.

Still, it’s a great purchase. I’ve not made one hot water bottle sine buying it and when I’m in a fair bit of pain, it’s so much quicker to plug it in and wait five – ten minutes for it to heat than to faff about with the kettle. It’s machine washable (haven’t tried washing it yet but will soon) and switches itself off after three hours. This is probably my favourite feature because I have been forgetful on a few occasions! It also feels sturdy and the material it is made from is soft and very comfortable. Its size is fine for its purpose in my opinion. The control panel has two buttons: one to switch it on and off, and the other to select the temperature settings. It automatically defaults to 5 when switched on; a few presses are all you’ll need at the most to change it. You can easily see in the dark which number it is set to, and it lights blue when it goes on standby after the three hour period.

At 30 it might seem a bit expensive but I would thoroughly recommend it for anyone who is looking for an alternative to a hot water bottle, or similar heat product.
