It comes in a cardboard box. Inside of the box it has a nice zipped case to store everything in. The zipped case has elastic sections to keep everything from moving around. The case contains a box with an assortment of common Dremel toold, the Dremel obviously, and instructions.

Some of the tools are quite expensive ones such as the speedclik mandrel and wheels. There are other tools for buffing and sanding, and the spanner for tightening the Dremel. It has all typical Dremel core tools, but unusual or special in the box so it’s basically a starter kit.

The tool itself is wired. It has a good rubber grip, and variable speed which gives good fine control over tasks.

The speed click tools are very powerful for the size of the device. It’s Also powerful as an ordinary drill too.

As cool as Dremels are I think you have to decide if you really need one. They are good on micro-tasks but you need to have a regular need for it to actually justify owning one.

This is proving to be a well built and versatile tool. It comes with lots of bits and bobs in a useful storage case. The motor is well made and it’s great for cutting and grinding – made short work of tile grout. I can’t get on with using the polishing pads for some reason but everything else is great – not sure why there aren’t more instructions but bar this happy overall – it’s a little dear.

Dremel 4250 Rotary Tool 175 W, Multitool Kit with 35 Accessories is a great little tool and fact we have had so much use from it. It is one of those tools you wonder how something so small can be so useful.
It is small enough to fit in those corners other tools could not be even considered. Yet it works as good with as much force as a larger power tool.
The added extras are especially useful as well as the case which holds everything together.
A quality product which I am happy to recommend.

This Dremel 175 W mains powered multi-tool is capable of up to 35000 revolutions per minute and is presented in a good size, nylon pouch/box that has attachments for storing the Dremel itself, the cable and up to 3 accessory boxes. There is also a large pouch on the inside of the lid of the case that can be used to store smaller pieces such as sanding disks, notes etc.

The Dremel tool itself is extremely sturdy, well finished and very importantly, feels good to hold in the hand. There are also non-slip surfaces that make the tool easy to hold on to. Additionally, there is a metal storage hook at the end of the tool.

This is a mains operated tool with a decent cord length and fitted with a moulded UK plug.

The tool is clearly air-cooled as when you increase the power of it, but turning the power control dial, conveniently located near the end of the device, you can really feel the air-flow.

The accessory kit is quite small, but contains most of the essentials you may need to get going on craft projects, with the exception of drill bits. The storage box is also compartmentalised too, so it is easy to arrange the accessories. Even a small package of polishing compound is included. A combination mini spanner and screwdriver is also included for assisting with loosening and tightening the chuck and XXXX respectively.

The accessory kit also contains the new EZ SpeedClic cutting disk and there is a handy A3 guide to accessories which details the accessories that can be used for each type of task.

The kit itself is enough to get going with many projects, but in addition, there are many additional accessories that can be added (through a separate purchase) to make jobs easy or safer, such as safety guards and lighting kits.

I tested a number of the included accessories using the Dremel and I am please to confirm that they worked well for model building and small DIY jobs. The Dremel isn’t exactly light, but I found it comfortable to hold and having an adjustable speed was useful, especially for sanding, grinding and polishing tasks.

This is a great kit that has many uses and applications for many people – crafters, model builders, diy-ers and much more.

These are at the more pricey end of the market, but they are probably the best.
Very well made tool, great for workshops, diyers, builders, and just to get you out of a tight situation.
This is a very comfortable tool to use, nice grip, with high low speed control. Plenty of wire length and a fold out hook to hang up out of the way. Also comes with a storage bag, which it fits in well, not to tight, plenty of room for the bits as well.
There are plenty of accessories with this set as well, and the quick clip bit is amazing, so convenient.
    Well worth the money.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI had heard of Dremel over the years. As a DIY’er who will have a go at anything that I legally can I saw this was available and I jumped at the chance to review.

The set arrived in a nice presentation box. It contained a handy carrying bag case with elasticated bands to hold the drill and the attachment box.

The set contains attachments for cutting, grinding, sanding, smoothing buffing, even engraving.

I must say this is beautifully engineered tool it sits really well in my hand and I have used it many times now and although it has a fair amount of weight it is so well balanced in the hand that it doest make my hand or arm feel tired.

The attachment have a sprung arbor lock design which I found makes it very easy to change the bits.

There is also a shaft lock button and threaded chuck to unscrew the bits with shafts attached by hand without the need for tools .It worked well and held them tightly in place without any issues. I found this much easier and quicker than my existing drill which I need a chuck tool to swop out the bits.

The extensive choice of variable speed has been a real winner for me when doing various jobs.

So far in the last 2 week alone it has helped me with the following tasks and has done a great job.

Ground rust/paint on a difficult to get to spots on a parasol base I was repainting.

Cut a number of threaded bolt shafts short as they were too long for some shelf brackets I was fitting.

Cut a small channel in a rafter to run a light cable through.

Smoothed down a number of the edges of holes that I had drilled in a plastic bucket to sit a water pump on in my water-butt.

In summary I have found this an extremely versatile tool to have I don’t know how I managed without one all these years to be honest, it has been absolutely indispensable lately.

The only very slight negative is although the cable is a reasonable length but not as long as some, but that said I normally have to use my power tools with an extension lead anyway.

All in all a phenomenal little but powerful tool. I love it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve had what I call a “Dremel” for nearly 20 years now. It wasn’t really a Dremel, but a small 12v transformer powered multi tool. It was good for modelling and drilling small holes etc.

    Enter the daddy.

It comes well presented and secure in a padded fabric case.
My first concern is that there was something(s) missing as there are two extra elastic straps that look like they should hold/store something, but I guess that is for storing some of the many attachments you can buy.
This is where Dremel excels. There is an attachment for just about anything. They aren’t cheap but if you need a job doing then there is something available.

What you get with this Dremel is “35 accessories” I’m surprised they didn’t state 38 accessories because they missed the spanner, fabric case and plastic accessory storage box. But I’m being a bit pedantic. However the 35 accessories included are not all different. For instance there are 5 identical sanding disks, 2 identical cutting disks etc etc – actually only 18 different accessories. Again, pedantic I know…

The tool itself is easy to figure out if you have ever had anything similar.
The big difference I found is that the “chuck” has a lock button, above my thumb in the photo, for securing the attachments and bits.

As stated in the title, it is bigger than I expected, but still easy to use and control.

The accessories are all good quality and the power of the Dremel itself is excellent.
I used the cutting disk on the side of my bench vice (solid cast iron) and it sliced into it easily. It would make light work of pipe cutting etc
The engraving tool is similarly up to the task of etching into anything I put it to work on.

The chuck accepts most multi-tool attachments. I got a very large set of attachments and bits from Aldi that fit perfectly. Sanding disks don’t last forever.

If you have never owned one of these type of tools then the instructions I found to be a bit simplistic and diagram heavy. A lot of the diagrams are not really explained, they expect you to know. However, there are many photos of the tool in action using different accessories and it really is simple to figure it all out.

Price wise I’m not sure I would have bought one (when there are much cheaper and similar options) without trying it out first.
Having had the opportunity and seen what it can do or is capable of (especially with the multitude of add ons you can get for it) I would definitely recommend spending a bit more on this quality tool.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe Dremel tool came in a sturdy case with a hard top cover so it was well protected.

It comes with 35 attachments which is an amazing selection and although the tools are small they are perfectly formed and completely effective. The size of the drill itself is slightly bigger than the palm of my hand.

Optional extras ( they are enough for me) if the attachments aren’t enough can be purchased separately.

It is smaller than expected so I’m really impressed with what it can do

Great for small craftsmanship I would have thought and not for use on an industrial level.

I would have preferred that it were not corded to give more flexibility as to where I want to use it. Nonetheless good value for money

I’ve used it so far to sand down some wood. It was very effective with no irritating vibration making work uncomfortable.

It’s great for getting into little nooks and crannies given the compact size of the body and the tools.

The great thing about this little hand tool is that it has so much to give. I can think of so many projects in and around the house that it will be useful for.

I hope you found this review helpful

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA few years ago we made a mistake and bought a Powerline version of this multitool. The tool proved to be completely hopeless — it was so underpowered that as soon as the end made contact with a surface it would just stop dead. I’ve wanted one of these Dremel kits for quite a long time — but been a bit wary after our experience with the other brand’s version and so hadn’t bought one. I needn’t have worried. Using the two devices is a completely different experience. Not least as this one actually works! Indeed, not only does this work: it’s pretty good.

I have used it in conjunction with our mouse sander to do one of the biggest sanding jobs we have: sanding down our barbecue hut so that it can be oiled. This tool is great for getting in to the little detailed areas where the mouse sander is too big, including grooves on the door, the area around the handle, and the window trims, so that the whole of the hut could be evenly sanded, instead of leaving areas where grey weathering shows through and darkens the colour of the oil. I did need to buy some extra sanding discs and drums. So far, I’ve only really used the sanding function — but I’m planning to have a go with the engraving and cutting tools next as I’d like to use these in conjunction with my pyrography iron to create 3D designs. The ends are really easy to change over, with a twist locking system. Came with a nice fabric outer storage case.

This is a mid-range version of the Dremel rotary multi tool: it’s one of the more high-powered versions, but doesn’t come with the most extensive range of tools/ends and is a corded model so is presumably a bit less manoeuvrable than rechargeable version. There are masses of optional extras that can be bought to go with the range of Dremel multitools: I have my eye on a plunge router and a stand that lets this be used as a table drill.

I have always wanted a Dremel but never really had the excuse to get one, so I was really pleased to be offered one.

The unit is compact and comes with a black material carry case.

The kit comes with the Dremel unit itself and 35 different tools for grinding, cutting, polishing and drilling.

I have used several of the heads for small jobs around the house and have been mightily impressed, not just with its usefulness and ease of use, but it’s versatility.

It is a truly remarkable bit of kit, which will be invaluable around the house.

This a dremel kit with 35 accessories and includes a compact material bag. It has a 175W motor with variable speed control and built for drilling, grinding and cutting.

    Things I liked:
    * comfortable to hold (it has a soft grip)
    * great speed control (this is essential as jobs vary)
    * changing accessory bits is easy (twist action)

Overall, I’m really pleased I now own a dremel kit. This kit allows me complete my mini-DIY projects quicker and give a more professional finish. Highly recommended if you enjoy building or modifying items.

This is a nice Dremel. It’s a high quality hand tool with this version having the higher speed model
You get a range of accessories, some useful, some less so but it’s easy to get more and all in a quality storage case.

    Very good.

I am really impressed with this versatile tool. This is a Bosch brand and is as good quality as you would expect from that company The tool can be used from the starter kit to sand, polish, cut, grind and engrave. There are 35 accessories that come with this set, and they can be changed very easily. The simple speed dial allows finer control depending on the job you are doing.

You can from whole range of attachments, albeit at an extra cost that will support tile cutting for example.

The tool feels good in the hand, and is easy to use

I’m very happy with this rotary tool. It looks very smart and high quality.
We can regulate the rotation speed depending on type of jobs we use this tool for. Its multifunctional and can be used for very wide variety of things like cleaning, polishing, grinding, sharpening, engraving, routing, sanding, cutting, etc. Its good for small working areas where bigger tool cant fit. This one is good for precision jobs.
Rotary tool came with box of heads to change depending on type of jobs we do. some of this heads will not last for longer than one job like the sanding disc.
I like that the heads easily can changed without need of extra tools as this comes with pre installed ‘twist nose cap’.
It’s well designed and can be used for longer without being overheated so quickly.
Its comfortable in hand and works like a dream.
I’m very pleased to own it. It’s worth the price.

I don’t know how I’ve managed without one all these years, these little rotary tools are simply amazing and extremely versatile. The selection of attachments available (inside and beyond the starter set) are amazing, everything from cutting to sanding and polishing theses simple something to help with every job, sure it’s not for heavy duty type activities but I’ve found it great at little tasks and ideal for any arts/crafts hobbyist.
