Fabulous – super quiet. Bought the 4 watch version, build quality is amazing. I’ve had a few of these and some at lot more expensive but this is by far the best.
highly recommended.
Well made, finished and fits 4 watches on dinky holders. Including 44mm easily. Not mastered all the settings nor 3 buttons on rear.
Started well but now can hear it at night so turning it off at bedtime, which some say is good to avoid over stressing the main-spring. Overall recommend for multi watch manageme
This item looked very good on the web site but when it arrived the look etc was way beyond my expectations it adds to the display of my watches & makes them look better especially when you have the led lights on the inside
The build quality is also excellent & these is very little noise when the watches are rotating I also have some Wolf Watch Winders & the performance of the Dukwin is just as good
I’ve had this item for a couple of months now and am absolutely delighted with it. Compared to my last one, it’s stylish, quiet, efficient and effective. A great item. Thoroughly recommended.
You can tell when something is well made and this certainly is.
It has space for 6 watches, all of which are rotated according to the selected program which is counted on a turn per day basis (650, 750, 850, 1000, 1950) these can be set based on the watch manufacturers specifications or whatever you feel works best for your watch. All of this can be done either via the control panel or through a remote control which is also included.
It’s lockable, which is more of a tamper proof solution as it’s not a hefty key, but it is useful to ensure no one is getting in there without you knowing about it.
I was a little worried that, as we have this in the bedroom, it would be a little noisy, but i shouldn’t have worried as it is almost silent.
Add all this build quality, onto the sleek look and even a little LED light and you have a really nice practical display piece to keep your watches happy and maintained.
What a great present for my husbands birthday. He was over the moon with it and I intend to get another one later this year, to keep his watches in prestige condition. @//(*_*)\@
I have had this running for about 3 months now without issue. It is quiet but I don’t have it in a bedroom I am sleeping in. It came with a mains adapter. Can’t see why I would ever use battery power. The build quality is OK. It’s not a particularly flashy thing, but it does a good job of keeping my automatic watches going.
This is very much as first impression review which I will change of needed in future.
Among watch collectors there is much discussion on whether winders are good for watches or not. I keep most of my collection on winders as I change watches frequently and if allowed to stop it can take a while to reset time, date and sometime the Zulu time as well. Much easier just to correct any small time error or the odd 28/30 day month. My winders range from unknown make, multi watch winders to more expensive well known makes of single winders.
The first impression of this winder was rather good. Solid construction and a gloss piano black finish. Part of the box has a discrete wood effect in the piano black as well. Access to the watches is via lockable door. The lock works but seems a little pointless unless it’s just to keep young children out. The pads for watches clip into place and are spring loaded to keep pressure on the strap or bracelet to hold the watch in place.
The winder came with a mains adapter and may also be used with batteries. It is hardly a travel item so battery power seems pointless unless there is no mains available. On the rear are two on/off switches and as the supplied manual does not mention this winder at all I had no idea why there were two. It seems that one is the main onoff and the second sets whether the winders stop or keep turning when the door is opened. Not sure why one would want it running with the door open though.
I initially fitted two of my rather large Bell and Ross watches as the size of the straps can make it hard to fit them on some winders. No real problem with this winder although I noted an occasional quiet noise which eventually was found to be one of the straps rubbing slightly. Replaced the Bell and Ross with a Tudor on bracelet and no more noise. It now seems to run silently but as it not in a bedroom a little noise would not be an issue.
There is a choice of winding options with clockwise and/or anticlockwise or both and different times. Years back I gave up worrying about this. My wrist works the same whichever watch I wear so I always just set both clockwise and anticlockwise rotation on winders. It works and saves having to look through tables and reset if I fit a different watch.
Now will it last. No idea but it may be worth noting that one of the “quality” winders I use gave up after a few months but some cheap ones have worked perfectly for years so seems to be just down to luck really.
Overall quite impressed.
I got this for my husband as a gift
He is a serious watch collector and he had wanted a watch winder for a while!
