One product I find you get what you pay for. I have a few devices like can and jar openers that struggle if you use cheaper batteries. You can hear the difference using duracell, they don’t struggle from the start and last longer.
Duracell offer batteries in various levels – the Simply ones don’t last very long, the Ultimate do last longer but cost quite a bit more. This is the middle road, standard product which suits my purposes.
I get through a lot of AA batteries and always buy these for those items that do not need too much power. For the other gadgets like auto lights and field cameras etc I use lithium batteries which do last a lot longer but these are great for most things.
Le batterie Duracell sono ottime e da anni sono le compagne fedeli di tutti quei miei accessori che ne richiedono l’utilizzo. Costano un po’ di pi, ma valgono anche un po’ di pi.
I have a Roberts radio that I occasionally like to listen to and use batteries so I am able to take it anywhere. I use Duracell for the simple fact that I feel they are the best and just seem to last for ages before they need replacing. The biggest plus for me is that they DO NOT LEAK and that is extremely important – some time ago I had a device that needed AA batteries and as they used them quickly (!!!) I resorted to using cheapos. Big mistake as one day the device was not working so I bought new batteries (not Duracell). When I opened the battery compartment I found the batteries had leaked badly and the result was that the device was basically ruined. I was told to only use good quality batteries (the ones virtually guaranteed not to leak – Duracell) in the instructions – a valuable lesson learned. So now I only use the best which means Duracell – no leaking and in truth they DO last longer. Win Win.
My advice is simple, never buy cheap batteries.
