This is a great shed but needs 2 people to construct it is vinyl not plastic so is fire retardant and will last longer than plastic
I would recommend
I bought this shed for a narrow allyway. Other reviewers have complained about the size, but if you read the dimensions properly you’ll see how wide it is. I assembled myself, it took a few hours but was straightforward. If you can follow ikea type instructions, this will be fine. It looks flimsy to begin with, but when assembled it’s fine. It is infact better made than other brands of plastic shed, such as palram.
We built this with two people and still was a little difficult because the instructions are a bit hard to understand at times. It literally took us two days over about 8 hours and my boyfriend is pretty good at DIY etc! Make sure you put it up in good weather also, some parts are a little flimsy. I expected the plastic to be more stronger composite material, it isn’t. However it feels pretty sturdy when it’s all up together. Some of the holes didn’t match up either, making it hard to fix together that we just ended up making our own holes for some bits. Some parts came with scratches on which is annoying because it was to the front of the doors! Nothing was missing which was a bonus. Delivery was great no problems. Just to be aware that mine came in one huge box and weighed a ton so be mindful of that when ordering. It’s a lovely colour, looks more stylish than a wooden or tin one. We had rain for two days after putting it up so I can account for it being waterproof and leak proof even though it doesn’t look like it would be in some parts, especially where the sides just overlap. Lots of room inside, I would also recommend getting some shelving for the inside and make use of the height!
amazed what you can fit in this size shed very sturdy & easy to move if need to.
Very flimsy, nothing a few extra screws couldn’t sort out.
A bit flimsy but as I am using it for winter storage, not a problem. Feel for everyday use it might be a little flimsy, good value though
I put this shed up pretty much by myself and only needed a bit of assistance when lining up the roof fixings. It was breezy when I started to assemble and agree that you need to make sure it isn’t windy because some of my part started to lift on the floor.
I think it went together reasonably straight forward. The only confusing part was building the 2 sides. You can’t go wrong with the centre support, but the positioning of the side posts isn’t clear. Make sure the tops and bottom of the side supports are the same position top and bottom as the centre one. Other than that is was quite straight forward.
Getting the ground level and ready took more time than building the shed. Definitely a two person job when it comes to assembly. The instructions are good and you will have to pay particular attention to the diagrams as there are no written instructions. It has rained twice since It went up and no leaks so far.
This shed is perfectly serviceable for the money. Unlike previous reviews this shed took 2 of us about 2 hours to build with rain interruptions, following pretty straightforward instructions. Yes it’s a bit flimsy but the previous one( this was a replacement for one bought previously due to neighbour having some trees lopped and a huge branch falling and smashing the roof of our old one) withstood 2 winter storms of heavy wind and rain and remained upright and waterproof so can only think that the person reviewing it saying it fell down on a gust of wind must not have assembled it correctly.
For 300 you’ll be hard pressed to find something equivalent.
