These are not normal batteries are suitable for use with our remote control garage door.

They have a good long life and have a good delivery service as batteries cannot be sent by post.

Recommended by my garage door manufacturer and used in the past. Good length, not too short.

When the electric – gas smart meter battery stops working so does your supply. Being Lithium its not a battery that can be stored with other batteries as they loose capacitance – charge in long term storage. Ordered from Amazon received the next day which when cold outside was much appreciated. Also used in my garage roller door which due to the cold was stuttering, so they fixed 2 problems for me.

I have a Crocodile garage door. The sensor unit on the door requires this battery.
Specifically, it requires AA Lithium 3.6v.
Don’t make the same mistake I did, and get 1.5v, because it will keep stopping when you’re trying to close it.

Seems to be a good quality battery and at a reasonable price. I’ve only just fitted it to my garage electric door sensor so can’t comment on the longevity or battery life but the write up said they have a ten year shelf life but at the price it’s no big deal if it doesn’t.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI bought these EEMB 3.6Volt ER14505 AA Lithium Batteries for the safety closure strip on my electric garage door. Whilst exactly the same size as AA cells the voltage is higher at 3.6V – this particular brand is recommended by the maker of my door and these cells are hard to get on the high street. In my case, I know the batteries in the safety strip need replacing as the garage door won’t close properly until they’re replaced.

The batteries come well packaged, look well made, are easy to fit and solved the closing problem with the door. Bearing in mind that these batteries are likely to be used over a protracted period of time, (in my case 2 cells every two years), it’s quite a serious omission that there’s no best before date on the pack or batteries. The absence of a BBE date may be because the quoted storage life is 10 years at room temperature, but if you don’t know when the batteries were produced that’s no good.

Overall, good replacement batteries and sold here at a competitive price, but please, let’s have a date of manufacture and/or best before date.
