First off, I don’t normally write reviews but with this product I thought it was warranted. I wasn’t expecting much from this device, as others have said, I gambled on it working after I could no longer get the procedure on the NHS.
After suffering with near total hearing loss for a week on holiday this product has saved my sanity. I have been using olive oil for a few days prior and after two days use with the irrigation device my hearing is restored.
The device is well made and feels sturdy, the water basin has thick clear walls and is high quality materials of construction. During use I have not suffered from any water leakage with it all being collected in the waste compartment. I also liked the addition of a temperature guide to stick to the side to ensure a comfortable clean.
One downside is the reservoir only holds 400ml and as the pump reaches the bottom it cannot reach the final 50ml. This can create a bit of noise in the ear canal so I stop if before the water reaches the low level.
If you are on the fence about making the purchase, just do it. It may not have the power of a professional ear irrigation cleaner but I feel I can use this safely without damaging my ear canal or hearing.
We bought this because my 5 year old was in pain due to ear wax stuck to her ear drum. We had the camera to look and used the softening drops, but we couldn’t get to the big ball of wax that was stubbornly attached. After using this machine it moved easily. I would suggest paring it with the softening drops.
We had it on soft and pulse as this was preferable to my child.
We’re very happy that she is no longer in discomfort and that it worked so efficiently. I’d recommend.
I must first of all say i was sceptical, it being made in China but I needn’t have been, the machine is quite well made but also comes with a supply of unnecessarys such as a pack of cotton buds i won’t be using and an air blower?…..No Idea.
A nice touch would have been to include some sort of bag box so the only alternative is the cardboard box it comes in.

Instructions are basic at best, Machine is simple to use though and is quite intuitive.
I have had lots of problems with wax build up over the years so i was hoping this would be a game changer and I can report that thats just what it is, I couldn’t believe the amount of crud it removed from my ears! and very safely and comfortably too.
