We have blue tits nesting in our cavity wall and wanted to see what they were doing. This was an impulse buy, but one I’m glad I made. Easy to install and clear pictures for a very reasonable price.
This handy bit of kit however went in easy and I could see exactly where the nut was. So I pulled it out again and thought I’d try the magnet attachment first not holding out much hope. I stuffed it down the hole to where the nut was and I saw it wiggle on the camera as the magnet attracted the nut. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I pulled it out slowly thinking there’s no way this is coming out first go and it did.
I don’t know what I would have done without this as my bike was unrideable as if that nut had slipped out and onto my chain as I was riding it would have snapped the chain and the result would have been that the chain would have flicked up and ripped the back of my leg in half.
I would also like to mention the App, I really don’t know why some people leave reviews who are completely unaware of how privacy policies work and I am referring to the reviewer who said that the app needed to connect to devices on the local network and he has a rant then said he’s sending it back well I can assure you that the privacy policy on iOS anyway is set to data not collected and the only reason why the app needs network access is to connect to the camera. I really wish people that don’t know what they are talking about would not leave reviews. They spoil it for everyone else.
This device is awesome it’s saved my leg and the app does not collect any data so is perfectly safe to use as you can see from the pictures I’ve posted the privacy policy is very clear.
To the seller I would ask Amazon to remove that review as it contains false and misleading information.
If I lost this I would buy it again straight away highly recommended.
Primarily using to periodically look behind wardrobes etc to check for damp/mould but there are all kinds of other uses I can use this for. I probably didn’t really need this but it works well and it will be useful in the future.
Bought this to look up an old chimney as I thought rain was coming in. Really easy to setup and use, good length of cable, managed to get up 3/4 way up chimney. Thankfully no signs of rain getting in! Will be very useful for checking crevices, behind walls etc. very clear image and the light is quite strong.
Very easy to set up. Download the ANESOK app as per instructions supplied. Used this with an IPhone. The camera uses it own Wi-Fi, power on the camera, then connect to the ANESOK Wi-Fi. Mobile is therefore not connected to any cable, making it very versatile. Camera quality is very good. Very, very useful product, and excellent quality for the Price.
Highly recommend.
At first glance it looked fiddly but connecting to it was simple enough, then we stuck the camera into a crevice not accessed since we moved into our home. The Spider we saw was very surprised at his home being on TV. We bought it for a specific purpose which it did admirably. It’s not the sort of thing you use every day but once you know what it can do, you’ll use it more often. It’s difficult to move the camera the further in you go unless you go down a tube of some sort. I managed to inspect my car engine and the inside of the exhaust very well.
Paid for itself straight away. Purchased as needed to find some cables in a ceiling void that the builders has shoved out of the way. Saved me and the customer so much grief as was able to locate them relatively easily.
Camera was easy to use and the app was sufficient for my needs.
Worked fine with an ipad. The image, despite its claimed resolution, is not pin sharp within its useable focal range but it is adequate for use and, for the price, is fine.
The lights are adjustable and it has a long length of stiff adjustable cabling.
I am trying to locate a water pipe and need to look under the floorboards and behind kitchen appliances/cupboards. I haven’t really had much success with this endoscope. It works very well but I think it’s not really suited to my purpose.
It would be great for pushing down a pipe I expect, because the pipe will guide the endoscope, however to explore under floor boards the scope would need to be attached to stick or something otherwise it will just bend and flop all over the place and be impossible to point at what you want to see, also the light is not powerful enough if trying to light up a larger space.
I am very impressed with this endoscope. Out of the box, it is very easy to set up – all you need to do is download the app (manual has a handy QR code that takes you right to the download page for the app). After powering on the device and before opening the app on your phone, you need to connect to the device’s wi-fi signal. Then open the app and the endoscope is ready to use. The business end of the endoscope where the camera and led lights are located is sturdy and well built. The flex cable is stiff enough so as not to move too much, but flexible enough to access hard to reach areas.
The control part of the endoscope fits nicely in the palm of my hand and it is easy to access the various buttons and features single handed, leaving my other hand free to manipulate the flex cable. Using wi-fi rather than Bluetooth offers a very stable connection to the endoscope.
So far, I have used the endoscope to check out some suspicious holes that have appeared in a community garden I volunteer at – checking for broken pipe work and rodent activity. I have also used the endoscope to check out the engine of a vehicle I am converting into a camper van. I have also used it to check behind wall and roof panels to find struts I can attach fixtures and fittings to. This has saved me from removing the whole panel and the subsequent damage to fixings.
Now I need to find other excuses to use this handy device.
The images are crystal clear and a bonus which I didn’t expect a tap on the app to rotate the picture on the screen to view as I wanted. Simple touch to take a picture or start a video clip.
This is a much more robust product than I expected considering the low purchase cost – it’s grea
