Used them for a torchlight and they seem to have a good life span and was nice and bright, some other batteries aren’t very strong and not so bright in my torch. Good batteries I definitely recommend!
For years I’ve bought other batteries and this time I changed to these Energizer AAA Batteries. Came in a nice box.
Plenty of them as I bought 32 of them. Should last a few years.
For 46p each they are a bargain. Used to pay a lot more.
Gets 5-5. Recommended.
In our house, Energizer AAA Batteries are less like mere batteries and more like mini He-Men, shouting “By the power of Grayskull!” every time they’re slotted into a remote, toy, or gadget. These little powerhouses bring life to our devices just like He-Man in the face of adversity. When the TV remote fades into silence or a toy starts to lose its voice, in go the Energizers, and it’s like watching a transformation scene — “I have the power!” Suddenly, everything’s back to full strength, saving the day (and our sanity) during intense movie nights or toy battles. They’re the unsung heroes, quietly powering our home’s daily adventures.
Price was good, I’ve had them before and was very pleased. But this time they came in a big paper bag, when I opened it the one box had been opened and was lose in the paper bag and last time they were in a bigger box but not this time all lose. So am a little bit disappointed this time.
Available for a nice price in a bulk pack of 32. Checked about 20 of our various household hand controllers and found that some in date and well-known AAA batteries had started to ‘frost out’ on the negative crimped ends. Replaced every last one as a precaution as some controllers are difficult to replace when the connections have corroded. These batteries have a 2030 date, but still worth checking every six months.
Having tried many alkaline batteries over the years, I switched from copper top alkalines to Energizer. Overall they seem to last longer, offer better value for money and more importantly appear to be less prone to leaking. Unfortunately rechargeable batteries aren’t always an option for low current drain devices, such as clocks, alarm sensors, remote controls, and weather station transmitters. I always like to keep stocked up on common battery sizes and these are great value when bought in quantity. Of course be mindful of the shell life (use by dates) if you are buying a large quantity and don’t replace them so often. Bought these at the end of October 2023 and the use by date on the box is December 2029, so 6 years. They also come in a box which makes it easier to store than plastic shrink wrap.
Not much you can say about batteries but I regularly order this brand of both AA and AAA as I have lots of pretty lights etc dotted about the house. They work well , arrive on time, packaged well, everything you need really. I will continue to re order.
hese work great, ideal for small devices like tv remote etc and they have lasted ages. Im leaving this review a number of months after buying and they are still going strong.
These are fine and I’d rather have these than Amazon Basics. However Duracell are much better. If you don’t need the best then get these. If you’re looking for the best then Varta, Duracell or GP.
These are a popular size battery I use quite a few per month: and found these to by very good quality. They were well packaged for transit and arrived well on time…
It amazed me how many remote controls you need just to watch something on the TV. There is the one for the TV itself, there is the one for the sound bar, there is the one for the Sky dish / Freeview box (I’m a cheapskate and refuse to pay for Sky so have Freeview), there is that one for the Amazon Firestick and there is the one for the DVD player (anyone under the age of 25, please ask a parent / grandparent).
Well, the other week, the remote for the remote of my TV stopped working. No matter how hard I pushed the button or how close I got to the actual TV set, it would not work. Luckily, I have a degree in Electronic Engineering (Leeds Poly 1989) and so had the solution to the problem. I took the batteries out of the Freeview remote so I could turn on the TV set. I then took them out of the TV remote and put them back in the Freeview remote so I could select the right channel (E4 if you must know). I had to put them back into the TV remote so I could turn it off after I had watched Robot Chicken before I could turn off the TV set. This was all quite exhausting and annoying. Like many people I have a “junk drawer” of useful handy items such as screw drivers, fuses, masking tape, allen keys and batteries so why, I hear you ask, did you not go to your junk drawer and get a spare battery. Well, batteries are delicate little things and if you leave them in a drawer with other metal items they can easily get shorted out (technical term) and that stops them from working.
Firing up Amazon and selecting a party pack of these 24 AAA batteries was easy. They arrived the next day and worked straightaway. I only needed two and have a further 22 left over. I put these in my “junk drawer” so I am prepared for the next time.
