Came with the slipcase and a double-sided poster, completely sealed. The corner of my slipcase came a bit broken, but it’s tiny thankfully. Really made my day because I’m such a huge swiftie who has only recently gotten into collecting cds. Also has some really incredible songs and brings such nostalgia! Thank you.

My son is a ‘Swifty’ – A Taylor swift super fan. I couldn’t find this album anywhere, apparently it is quite hard to get, but it was a Xmas present that I knew would be appreciated. Shame the delivery took so long to arrive so he had to be patient. However he was over the moon with the CD. My opinion though is that it is very expensive for a CD

The art work on the sleeve was appealing and the tunes were catchy. It was a different style of music for Taylor Swift but enjoyable. The Disc arrived very quickly.

his is a review for the album itself not the vinyl which is great quality btw. Reputation is Taylor Swift’s comeback album. The album that emerged from her darkest place in life. This album is rife with pain, sadness, anger, insecurity, love, passion, grieving and finally, acceptance. The songs have such variety from the beautifully fragility of Delicate, to the cackling nature of TIWWCHNT, to the peace and imagery of New Year’s Day. I love it so so so much and I hope you do too. This is an album like no othe

came on time and was packaged really well. though i am aware that picture disks tend to sound worse and crackle/pop this plays perfectly with no problems and you can really only tell the difference if you play it veryyyyy loud.

One of the best albums of the year. I mean the good thing with Taylor is that she keeps reinventing herself and this time it was done perfectly. There are no skips on this album, if you think otherwise you’re probably just tasteless. Although the title is reputation and there’s a few songs that pay tribute, it’s an amazing love album where she’s just happy with Joe and she’s just telling us how in love she feels in so many ways, I highly recommend listening to Lover after as it follows on that message. Also recommend watching the stadium tour on Netflix as it really brings a new point of view to the album.

This is a great product. I really enjoy this album. I did not realise they were picture discs untill after delivery, however I was not disappointed. Occasional crackle (however not on all songs) which can be expected from picture discs. Thoroughly enjoy this product would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI’m not your usual Taylor Swift fan, ( I have grandchildren) ! and don’t usually write reviews but my god i absolutely love this album. I watched the Reputation tour documentary on Netflix and just had to have it. I love every track, in my opinion there isn’t a bad one on it. Taylor is talented and original, her lyrics are spot on . I have subsequently purchased 3 more albums and have them on repeat. This girl can do no wrong in my eyes. I adore her and her music.

… I never was the biges fun of Taylor Swift music, but this album is very good in my personal opinion.
… this album has very deep hidden background of personal experiance and the 2015 and 2016 year was very hard for her.
… I recently watched Miss Americana (documentary movie) on the Netflix and I change my mind about her as artist.
    … 5 stars from me !!

She seems quite angry on this album.I was looking for the Shake it up song but all the reviews said this was her best album ever. The lyrics are good just not what I was looking for.

It took me a long time to work up much enthusiasm for’ Reputation’ it was not until I heard the mighty ‘Delicate’, ‘Getaway Car’ and ‘King Of My Heart’ that I thought it was an album worth buying. I have been getting my monies worth with those three tracks but I can only hope a few other songs grow on me sometimes it does take time. It is not as strong an album as 1989 but there are other things to like such as a quality lyric book and poster in which Taylor Swift looks very nice although I probably would not have recognized her. Those professional touches enhance satisfaction.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis review is of the vinyl pressing, not the ablum. I love the album.

The pressing is fairly low quality, although this is what I have come to expect from new mass pressed vinyl. The first two copies of this album I recieved had fairly large dents in the record face that could have only happened before it was placed in the sleeve. The dents caused very loud cracks and skips. The first record would not play past the dent unless a large force was placed on the stylus. The second copy would play through, but would create an extremely loud crack.
The third copy I received was free of major defects but compared to other new picture records I own it has slightly lower sound quality. Compared to non-picture records this record is definitely much lower quality.

The outer sleeve is made from low quality card with fairly average print quality. Since picture disks are aimed more at collectors it would have been nice to see a decent quality sleeve.

Overall it is nice to have the album on vinyl, but the quality is not that great and it definitely shows that it is mass produced.

I loved the first two singles Ready For It and Look What You Made Me Do probably because they sounded so different to the songs on 1989 (which I also love) and so for me these are the best – the rest of the album has some good songs (Gorgeous, Delicate, New Years Day etc). But for me it is a bit uneven compared to 1989, with bigger standout tracks and some slightly weaker filler (who knows maybe they’ll grow on me).

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is an amazing CD from an amazing singer. As with her previous CD (1989) each song is a marvel and it is a pleasure to listen to each song again and again. This is rare quality in singers nowadays when one can enjoy every single song. Usually singers just have one hit song and then put mediocre stuff in between, but not Taylor Swift. Her talent is beyond amazing. Love it!
My son who is 7 loves it too!

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our Users“We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them they have chosen to show us. There will be no further explanation. There will be just reputation.”

Her intro note to the album says it all really. Having had managed to attract huge attention prior to the release of this, her 6th outing, that alone is reason why this album is deemed newsworthy. For anyone who could argue that pop music has devolved to being bland, repetitive, processed, soulless, and that is no longer interesting or as about as lasting as the fizz in an open can of soda, these 15 songs prove that 27 year-old megastar Taylor Swift can be seen as some sort of a pop saviour. Co-written and co-produced by herself, pop svengali Max Martin and fellow partner Shellback, and Jack Antonoff, on this she is shedding any hint of her former country-pop profile, going full electronic pop, completing the bold transition from teen country superstar to full-blown EDM popstress. Tailor-made to the last detail, oozing confidence, and showcasing growth, wit, fun, whilst feeling simultaneously nostalgic and futuristic, “reputation” is undeniably TS’s most private, personal, versatile, yet, ambitious project to date.

From the enigmatic use of serpent imagery to tease the new album, the impressive – and filled with references – videos, and somewhere between the catchy hooks and the immediacy of the simplicity of the lyrics, the record which is predominantly concerned with Swift’s relationship with the media, is a reminder that, not everyone is what they look like. Light on break-up but big on love songs, the revengeful “I did something bad” is one of the key tracks to the album, thematically and sound-wise. Elsewhere, the Ed Sheeran+Future-assisted “End game” is a definite future hit single. The dramatic “Getaway car” is quite sensational. “Delicate” is a thing of beauty. “King of my heart” showcases a wonderful ’80s vibe. “Call it what you want” is a another mighty pop number. “Dancing with our hands tied” is just epic (a personal favourite). The witty “Gorgeous” is another highlight. As for singles “Look what you made me do” and “…Ready for it?”, the first one is a genius promo single, and the latter arguably one of the most addictive tunes released this year. The piano-driven closer, “New Year’s Day”, is the nicest surprise on here (and possibly the next single?).

There really is nothing that TS should worry about. “reputation” is a shiny pop record, which will most probably become another record-breaker. Back in November 2007, the eternal princess of pop was releasing her acclaimed and much celebrated “Blackout” album. Exactly 10 years later, pop’s new royalty with “reputation” offers a very similar in many ways album, one that has all the potential to become as iconic as Britney’s classic. Currently charting in 102 iTunes country Charts, and No. 1 in 94 countries, and reportedly having sold around 700,000 copies in the US alone on its first day of release, there is little question the album will sell about as well as her previous 3, which scanned over 1 million units in their first weeks. From her 2006 debut’s amazing success onwards, Taylor Swift has been going from strength to strength. She has talent, taste, works hard, and produces some of the finest pop ditties. She has certainly become a fixture in the music industry and, ultimately, a defining force. That is a pretty damn good reputation, I say.

Note: The album comes in a slipcase, featuring a double-sided poster, and a 20-page booklet with lyrics and credits (no photos). Also, available are 2 fully illustrated, 80-page magazine editions, surely the ultimate purchase for fans (another clever commercial move – I ain’t a Swiftie, but had to order both, they are likely to become collectibles soon).

4.0 out of 5 stars 230. "I'm sorry, Taylor Alison Swift can't come to the phone right now... Why? 'Cause she's busy slaying!"

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFirst impressions is this is a very solid album. To me, it seems like TS has channeled some of Selena Gomez’s sound on the first part of the album to great effect. The middle of the album, starting with “Look What You Made Me Do” gets a bit dull in comparison with the exception of “Gorgeous” and “Getaway Car”. The album then closes strong with “Call It What You Want” (favorite track so far) and “New Year’s Day”. Worthy of 5 stars, even with the filler tracks in the middle. Album of the year? Nope. Personally, Trial By Fire (Yelawolf ) or One More Light (Linkin Park) both contenders even though very different genres!
