Back in 2002, a mother living on Maui was not satisfied with the baby carrying options available to her. Looking to keep her new son close to her body, she tried several different carriers, some of which worked fairly well, but nothing that satisfied her needs for comfort and ergonomics. With a background in design, she set out to create something that was both comfortable and easy for parents to use. Beginning with a parent’s love for her child and her desire to keep him close, the ergonomic, comfortable design of the Ergobaby Baby Carrier was born.

Great insert for Ergobaby Omni 360. It has definitely improved the position on my baby in the carrier.
Fits our ergo 360 just fine and our baby is snug and secure.
One criticism would be that the bottom flaps to secure it to the ergo bottom straps tend to unclip sometimes when you pull the bottom straps to readjust. It works fine though since the top straps keep it in place so not a major issue.
Bought this to go with the Baby carrier for my son who became a dad for the 1st time 7 weeks ago. Since Baby was born this Baby insert has been used and is a tortal godsend. It provides the extra support needed especially in the neck and head area. My son has been singing the inserts praise ever since he 1st used it. Well worth paying out for the extra support.
Seems like she’s very safe, secure and feels cocooned in it. The Best Buy for her of her (admittedly very short!) life to date I’d say
It’s a great fit with my Ergobaby 360, easy to use and a lot comfier then my sling carrier.
Must say I was skeptical about it after reading reviews about bad quality and condition of the product. However, as I already had ergo carrier and was just looking for the infant insert I thought to give it a try. I am happy with the product quality and received it in good condition with instructions manual n branded ergo box!
Really impressed with this as it has meant that we can carry on taking our active toddler out for walks in the countryside whilst not having to worry about the pram for our baby. Would definitely buy again!
Carrier insert is easy to use and my baby finds it really comfortable.
Only negative point is, the popper buttons that attach round the carrier, come undone quite easy but I find baby remains in a safe position.
Brilliant, I got the harness from my brother and bought this insert for my baby boy. Use it for a walk nearly every day. So handy and much better than pushing a buggy about especially on a farm. He loves it and is nice and snug in it too.
This made the carrier that we had usable and has seen my daughter through until she now fits into the carrier without the insert. She slept well so was presumably comfy. She felt secure too and her legs had the desired M position.
Arrived promptly. Came with a booklet of instructions although I did end up watching a YouTube video of how to install it as I struggled to understand the booklet. We have an older style Ergo carrier and it fits perfectly. Ideal for getting out walks during this pandemic. Would recommend.
I bought this for my ergo 360 carrier and I love it. The ergo 360 technically doesn’t require infant insert but my 5 week old fits in the carrier way better now and feels more snug. She fell asleep immediately after putting her in it. I am so glad I bought this and can continue to use the pillow as she gets a bit bigger.
The insert is really easy to attach to the main carrier and cradles LO really well. I was using it for 2-3 mile walks 4 weeks post c-sec. It’s harder to find a comfortable fit with insert in though, it feels much comfier without once they’re old enough, but he was only in it up to 8 weeks and they’re pretty light up until then.
Great product but I would say that it would be amazing to have another set of straps on the bottom to attach to carrier as it’s hanging when u need to take baby out for changing , breastfeeding . Otherwise , as stated, material is very good for hot weather.
Bought for our newborn to go in our existing carrier. No problems at all, easy to use great product. Our daughter sits on this comfortably and settles well for walks out.
I liked how easy it was to attach this to my Cool Air 360. I know it’s more expensive than the original version, but as I have the Cool Air carrier I thought I’d get the insert to match. My baby boy has been really comfy in the carrier and I’ve found him much easier to carry in this than in my Close Caboo wrap as he’s grown heavier.
Just as expected. The insert fits lovely into my ergobaby original carrier. Overall I have lots of confidence in the carrier and insert and my daughter seems happy, Can’t ask for more than that 🙂
Good product to adapt the Ergobaby carrier for newborns that we’ve used a lot from birth. Only quibble is now that we’ve progressed to pillow only without the bigger wrap around cushion (LO’s nearly 6mos), there’s nothing to attach the pillow to the carrier itself so it falls out onto the ground every time you take the baby out. Otherwise well designed product.
Great product – Bought for my Ergobaby harness but it came in the wrong colour so sent it back and purchased the right colour. No issues with product itself or quality just colour and the correct shade was perfect.
I bought this product to complement my Ergo Baby Carrier and must say that the quality is awesome. The snug insert serves its purpose, it just does what it is supposed to do: holds the infant in a secure and comfortable position. I’m very satisfied with the insert and would recommend it to other users of the Ergo carriers line.
