Lovely simple case for my S23 Ultra with good quality stand that feels like it’ll last. Spoke with customer services over a small issue and they were very helpful. Happy with my purchase and it was good value for less than 15 too.
This is a cheap plastic phone cover, but it’s light, easy to put on and the rubberised plastic provides an excellent grip. What is special however is the little fold out stand at the bottom of the case. It is unobtrusive when not in use, but folds out to allow the phone to stand up in portrait or landscape format to make hands-free reading or viewing a joy. Great idea.
I like the lens protection and strength of the case, and the cirner bumpers, but it does make it more bulky. It did not fit the Vanmass car mount because the kick stand prevented the arms on the Vanmass from making a positive solid grip at the base, although the edgesdid clamp well. The Samsung silicon case did fit well in the Vanmass, but would not beat the ESR in a drop test.
It is up to the user to decide which is the more important, as a belt and brases bloke, I appreciate the protection, but it is not for everyone.
Even if you don’t want the screen overlay on (I personally use a tempered glass screen protector) – It comes with an extra front panel so you have the choice!
The kickstand is strong, tough and rugged! I’ve tried a few different cases on the market place and the stands can be flimsy. This however holds the weight of the phone and more! Stiff and very well made
This is now my standard case for my S24 Ultra!

I especially like to the included kick stand that makes watch movies perfect as holds the phone in the just right position.
The case is cool looking, and it feels good in the hand, plus the little stand is nice and snappy. In my eyes it makes the phone looka better. And heavier, but to me that is a plus. I’ve used note 9 for the last 5 years, and I am so surprised at how the s23 ultra looks. I can’t even tell if the back is plastic or glass. It looks cheap to me… and especially so when I saw the box it came in. Although an impresisvely powerful phone. Well, this case makes the phone look much better.
I have been using it for more than 6 months now. I dropped my phone on a couple of occasions and it has protected my phone well. No issues so far.
Had the same case on my S21 but recently upgraded which means I had to purchase a new case. There has been some tweaks to the design which make this new version excellent. The last version caused wear on the rear of the phone from the stand, but totally rectified in this model as the stand no longer goes through the case, but is attached to the exterior.

It like this case as it maintains the phones thin form factor whilst protecting all edges. It also has a cool feel to the grip and the kickstand will help with productivity.
New phone so thought I’d ensure it had the best protection. This case doesn’t immediately look like it’s really going to do the job, but as soon as it fitted around the phone I could tell it was quality. Feels great in the hand and the flip out stand is ingenious. So simple it’s a wonder nobody else came up with it. My S23 Ultra is in safe hands.
Disclaimer, will start by saying I’m only leaving a review as ESR require it to confirm you as a “super user”. Upon picking up the case it seems as expected, the stand is impressively sturdy, which was the most important thing for me. Overall very nice case.
It looks nice and hopefully it will give the protection that it should.
I’ve now used this mobile cover for all my mobiles – easy to us and like that you can use it as a stand at the same time. Very good
Had the ESR note 10 plus case for almost 4 years. Best case I’ve ever had. Now I have the S23 ultra case. Even better. Honestly you don’t get a better case than this. Period.
My last case (from the same company) was their clear case. By the time I replaced the phone, it had expanded to the point where the phone fell out frequently. This case, being made of a different material, seems far better and so far is just as tight as when I first put it on.
The kick stand is very firm and keeps the phone standing in all three directions (you CAN have it towards the top as you look at it, but Samsung don’t rotate the screen that way anyway!)
I’ve unfortunately dropped my phone on a couple of occasions and the case has protected it perfectly, even when one of the drops was mostly on a corner.

Having the S22 previously where samsung provided a case with a kick stand I was gutted to see they were not providing one with the S23. However after searching Amazon I saw ESR were doing one! I was really pleased as it gives you the flexibility of standing in different profiles and the ability to use the phone hands free without having to prop up. Great design and protection, have dropped phone a couple of times and has protected the corners
Reallyhappy with the case. Its exactly as described. The kick stand works well and the case itself looks great when on the phone. The buttons still work on the sides exactly as they should and the seperate
protective cover for the cameras fits perfectly.
This product is a very solid and effective cover for my Samsung S23 ultra. It is exactly as shown and its ability to stand at both sides makes it so much easier to use. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good product.
I had a bit of an issue when receiving my case. Contacted ESR and they got back to me very fast and dispatched me a new case which arrived the next day. No question asked.
The case is great quality with a very low profile and not at all bulky. Ideal if you are looking for a case to use with a gimbal such as Hohem. The case stand is very sturdy and not flimsy like a lot of other cases.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice and simple case that doesn’t impact overall size but still offers pretty good protection.
This case is a perfectly snug fit around the phone but this does mean that if you want to use a tempered glass screen protector then the screen protector will keep peeling off especially in the corners.
In my opinion it worth three stars. They give me another model for free which is better then this one got this reason I put one more star. Good customer service also!
Case fits very snugly. The stand is sturdy where you can use landscape view on both sides to adjust the angle. Only reason why it’s a 4 star is that it’s just been 1 month since using it but the transparent colour turned yellow already.
Came in a day. Easy to fit. Kickstand seems very sturdy and holds phone up well. All buttons and holes line up well and access to the S-Pen is easy.
Only downside is that the kickstand recess sits proud of the back face of the case quite a lot – I’d say half of the thickness again. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
Fast delivery ordered yesterday and the case was with me today. Case is superb not flimsy at all – and zero issues when I installed a Milomdoi screen protector. Perfect fit all round and the back of the case is very sturdy and love the fact its a clear case.
Kick stand is solid – tested on a number of surfaces and its very stable and robust. I take a lot of flights so this will be perfect for viewing when sat on a cramped Ryan air flight 😉 Price was brilliant as they offered a discount I paid less than 13 quid. It feels and looks really premium. Very happy with my purchase and would buy from this company again in the future when I upgrade my s23 Ultra.
Installation instructions are straightforward, mobile fits well in the case. Case doesn’t feel bulky, but the grip is not enough, could have been designed better. Stand is a good option, holds the phone’s weight without any issue, but only in landscape mode. Using the mobile with stand in a vertical position is not a good idea.
Overall gives good protection around the mobile with raised edges and also a good protection to the camera. But some times stand doesn’t feel like it is closed all the way. It’s a good purchase for me, does the job for my s23
Had case now for 9 days and normal hand grease has built on case and its way to slippery now to hold.
Sides has no groves, just a very smooth surface.
EDIT: ESR customer service have been in contact with me and given me a refund and asked for feedback on product improveme
The thing I like is its nice and slim and u can still see the phone colour and does not make the phone bulky like other makes, also if you look closer, I am using amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector and you can see clearly its screen friendly it has gap between the case and screen protector so it will not interfere with the screen protector, and the case has nice micro dots so feels very secure and gripey ,
Also I love the kickstand for free viewing as my note s23 ultra is quit big after while hands get sore
Also, got the ESR Camera Lens Protector and its same level so it’s not sticking out, as for celerity time will tell how long it stays like tha
The case I received is nothing like the one I ordered. Looks and feels cheaper and lacks the functionality of being able to stand the phone in portrait mode. The stand doesn’t feel very secure when closed and tends to rattle (very slightly). I’ve used these cases (the ones pictured) for years now, Note 9 Plus, Note 20 Ultra, Note 22 Ultra and now the Note 23 Ultra and the case I received is just mot in the same league. Unfortunately I don’t date use a phone without a case so returning it unused for a refund just isn’t an option.
Given how pleased I’ve been in the past I’ve place another order and can only hope that the right one is sent out this time.
**update** The seller reached out to me after I left this review and offered me my choice of a couple of solutions to resolve my negative experience. I am once again a happy customer and will continue buying these cases for all phones I have in future. I’ve list count of how many of these I have purchased for previous phones and expect that trend to continue fir many more years. Top notch product with customer service to match, what’s not to love?
Had this one on my S22 Ultra as well. Protects well from drops and I love using the kickstand in portrait mode. The issue I have with it is that it doesn’t protect the lenses. I was hoping that they would update the design for the S23 Ultra. I’m guessing the reason they’re not doing it is to sell their own lens protectors.
The case is very slimline, this is what I wanted as the phone is large anyway, but the case adds very little in the way of bulk. It has screen protection ridges located at the top and bottom of the case, the same goes for the camera module cutout at the back of the case, but here the the protection ridge encircles the whole camera module cutout.
The kickstand is quality, it is constructed of a matt black coloured aluminium (which contrasts nicely with the slightly different shade of the matt black case) & only protudes from the lower back of the case minimally.
I’m using the case with the ESR Camera Lens Protectors, which fit & compliment the case & phone perfectly.
The combination gives the phone a great understated feel.

My phone has not arrived yet,as it’s pre order,so the case is unused but what concerns me is the camera protection for such an expensive phone.
Yes,it looks great with the aluminium kick stand,which has a great secure clip.
ESR reached out to me and suggest that I try the lens protector’s,which are great,look great and feel premium and have also fitted great.
