Took a little bit of tweaking to get this to print without stringing but once I dialled in it prints great!
Have printed multiple phone cases using this filament with no layer adhesion issues or bed adhesion issues.
I was concerned about printing in TPU as I have a Bowden Drive setup. But after a few quick tests, I found it to print superbly, and have no major issues at all.
There was a tiny bit of stringing – but I guess that is the down side of using Bowden feed and rubbery elastic material that I am guessing does not retract as well.
I printed at 220, with a unheated bed (ultrabase) @ about 40-50mm/s
Supports pop off easily, brim you need to trim with scissors or knife. Tidying up the stringing with a knife was quick and easy.
Bought as a alternative to a more expensive brand.. I have found it dose not print as well and comes apart. I am a experienced with 3D printers and different filaments and this isn’t as good as some of the other products
Flexible and worked in my Dremel 3D45. Had a problem feeding at one point, but I suspect its just because the reel is heavy and the filament a bit tightly wound so my machine wasn’t able to pull hard enough to turn it.
Great flexibility with this product and strong with thin prints, I did have a little bit of stringing to clean up but otherwise great.
I’ve been using esun pla plus filament since starting 3d printing a couple of years ago but this is the first time that I’ve tried tpu in my latest Ender 3 s1 with direct drive.
It printed flawlessly and without any stringing first time by carefully following guidelines off the web. I will need to adjust the fill percentage as the model came out a little hard.
It does look a little messy on the reel but it fed without issues.
Recommended.
Quality is good, but then when you’re paying full price of 30 so I wouldn’t expect anything less. I had it print first time with no issues, I used it to print a neck seal for a havoc trooper from Starwars, as you can see I got a bit of stringing at the back do I’m sure there’s are changes I could make but overall I’m pretty happy with i
Very pleased esun is now my go to brand for filiment aways been pleased with there produtcs from pla to petg and even a fila drye
Great adhesion, semi flexible perfect for the job required, printed a nozzle for a vacuum cleane
I was pleasantly surprised how easy this filament was to use. Having changed to a 0.6 steel nozzle, it has performed brilliantly, with a nicely understated finish. Not tried woodworking with it (sanding, drilling etc) but it feels robust enough to take some manipulation. I used: 215C / 55C /0.6 nozzle /45 mm per sec speed / 0.45 layer height.
Layer adhesion is amazing, beautiful blue colour with near no shrinkage. I used this to make a cozy, printed it in vase mode and it worked beautifully. Used this for a structural part and stringing is horrendously bad, but as a tpu it is brilliant. It comes down to what part you print and I never dialed my settings, so set them up!!! Will buy this again with out a doubt.
Beautiful semi transparent filament. After optimization I still get whisper thin stringing but they are easy to remove. I’m printing on an Ender 3 pro bowden setup with a metal hotend and dual gear extruder. Benchy printed at 190C with bed unheated at 30mm/sec. To maximize flexibility you need to minimise walls and infill. My benchy has 2 walls and 6% infill
Although I’ve not had TPU filament before, I found the suggested temperature settings perfect and had a great print first time. I used a temperature of 230C with no heated bed. The colour really pops and is a nice light purple colour like I was hoping. The packaging was great, a vacuum sealed bag with silica gel in a box that included a leaflet with other materials that eSUN sell and their differences, useful for if I was going to get some more filament.
I’ve purchased every colour of this filament and it prints with ease every time!! Printing TPU can be challenging on some machines but on the Prusa MK3s it’s just a dream!!
It worked out better than i could ever Imagine i did a few good prints and i am impressed
