    Simple but effective.

Use this for your mains electric mower or any mains outdoor gear.
Reassuringly, it has a test button to show how it cuts the power immediately if there’s a short.

    Compact and unobtrusive.

This item does what is expected. Makes me feel somewhat safer as I do a lot of work with no one around. I bought this when doing the garden or in the workshop. I am going to get another for when I am doing work in the house.

How a plug can be difficult to install I do not know!!!! This was really easy to install and it makes me have peace of mind as it is also a circuit breaker, so when we go on holiday I am not worried that things will blow up and cause a fire. It is a little chunky but for peace of mind there is nothing I wouldn’t do and no amount of money I would not spend.

Bought this to check a lampstand which was tripping main fuse box to see if it was the light or the plug socket at fault. Sadly the light but much better to trip the RCD than taking down half the house’s power. Trips as required and very easy to rese

Review for EXNICEXI RCD Plug Safety RCD Adaptor UK Leakage Protection Home Circuit Breaker (30mA 240V AC , 13A 50HZ IEC61540) for Household Appliances and Power Tools, White

I have a few corded power/garden tools which require electrical protection to prevent electrocution. I have used circuit breaker plugs for a while to avoid accidents, they are priceless. Overall works well and good price.

I got this safety plug for my deep freezer. This circuit breaker has 2 buttons on the front. And it is a very good safety measure for electronic items. I found it very useful with my appliance. It gives a peace of mind when it comes to safety. Its easy to set up. And once done, it just works really well.

I ordered this RCD safety plug to use with power tools to reduce any risk of electric shocks from power tool accidents, particularly lawn mowing and the like.

This RCD safety plug is simple to use, providing an additional safety mechanism to your consumer uit tripping to protect your power circuits. It works by cutting power to the circuit when a fault is detected (for example when we accidentally ran over the mower wire the other day – I kid you not!!).

One thing to note that you do need to go through the test mechanism every time you use the RCD to ensure there is no fault with the unit and it will still protect you if called upon. It’s a simple process, and easy and quick to do, but is an essential safe system of work, even if you feel it should be fine – don’t risk your safety and health!

So overall does the job intended effectively at a reasonable 14 price tag at the point of review, so happy to recommend on that basis.

So the description states this is a:-
EXNICEXI RCD plug safety RCD adaptor UK leakage protection home circuit breaker ( 30mA 240V AC, 13A 50HZ IEC61540 ) for household appliances and power tools ~ White.

Even tho are garden tools are store in the garage are safe and dry but they are not something we use all the time. So I was always wary about plugging them in.
But now I don’t have to leave it up to my other half to do because I’m able to use this socket to test amd feel safe using the tools outside.

I know our electricity box is up to date and that it would trip if anything was wrong.
But having this have given me peace of mind and that I wouldn’t have to go running around the house to see which item or plug is causing the trip switch to go.

*** To test the rcd plug for proper operation to prevent leakage, follow these steps:-
    * 1. Plug the RCD circuit breaker into the mains socket.
    * 2. Press RESET button, red indicator light ON.
    * 3. Press TEST button, red indicator light OFF.
DO NOT USE IF RED INDICATOR REMAINS.
    * 4. Press RESET for use.

*** How to use circuit breakers:-
    * 1. Plug RCD circuit breakers into a wall socket or any power receptacle.
    * 2.Test it and make sure the red indicator light is ON before using.
    * 3. Plug any of power tools or home appliances to the RCD circuit breakers.
    * 4.The RCD circuit breakers will trip off once it detects any current loss to protect people from electrical shock.

The price at the time of this review is 11.89 , which I think is a good price to keep yourself and your house safe.

    So far so good
But I will update this review if needed.

This RCD safety adaptor comes in a cardboard box and inside you’ll find the adaptor and a little instruction leaflet.

The RCD is lightweight and feels well built with no creaks or cracks when applying force to it. It has covers over the neutral and Live terminals to protect them from young children. On the rear is the guide for testing the RCD which is done by simply plugging it in and turning it on at the mains. A red LED should illuminate to indicate power is going through it. Pressing the TEST should make the red LED turn off which indicates that the RCD has stopped power from going through and is safe to use.

Using it is simple too as you plug your device into the RCD and then plug the RCD into the mains. It is designed to immediately stop the power if it detects a sudden surge which could be caused by a fault or short of the circuit. I use mine for my jacuzzi bath so in case of an issue with the electrics of the bath, this will cut the power within 0.01 seconds.

For 13.99, it is competitively priced and could potentially save your life

5.0 out of 5 stars An essential item, especially with electrical items around water...

If you plug in devices in the kitchen or anywhere where there could be water, this item is a must have. If a socket were to get wet, it would cut the power instead of giving you an electric shock which could be life saving.

The plug is well made and easy to use. You simply plug it into the wall, test its working using the test button and following the instructions printed on the back, then plug in your device and you are ready to use it.

This can help give you peace of mind as well as help to keep you safe. I would definitely suggest getting some of these.

5.0 out of 5 stars High Quality Safety Device

If you have an electric lawnmower or hedge trimmer you really should have at least one of these!
You simply plug this into any convenient wall outlet and plug your lawnmower or hedge trimmer either into this directly or into an extension lead that is plugged into this socket.
Dont forget to test it before you start your job, simpl push the button to test ant the other to reset.
Now if you cut your powerlead you will end up in your local garden centre instead of the hospital or morgue.
This inexpensive, small device will cut the power instantly before you are exposed to an electric shock.
Which can be deadly, so this could literally save your life or someone you care about.
Theres not much else I can say to be honest, to put it in a nutshell this is good VFM and it works!
    Happy to help.

I have another older variant of this plug so this is a useful upgrade (I want to be sure it’s working). I use for the lawnmower and other electrical gadgets I haven’t ever cut across a cable before but I know people that have and this is just that extra layer of safety to cut power quickly. Always test before using

If you use any kind of power outdoors and would use an extension lead then it is great to put this in front of it to ensure that you will minimise the chance of electrocution in the event of a problem. It is particularly beneficial if there is a chance your electrical device could become wet or alternatively if there’s a chance you could cut through the cable so things like a lawnmower or hedge cutter. I actually have a tester for dummy loads that could mutate an earth fault and the rcd tripped quickly and before the house tripped out, meaning it did its job properly. Great For peace of mind if you’re working in the garden.

Works perfectly with the outdoor water feature my husband built during lockdown. I’ve not given it five stars as I don’t know how long it will last. Very good so far.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was a timely opportunity to replace our old circuit breaker plug, which had the date 1992 on it. I use it for the lawnmower.
You can get cheaper ones on Amazon, but generally you get what you pay for. It feels well-made, and frankly it’s not the sort of item you want to skimp on. I’ve used it only with the mower and a strimmer, but it should be suitable for a wide range of household appliances as claimed. It works the same as any other circuit breaker plug, though I had to get used to the idea of the light (the light on the old one failed so long ago I had forgotten that it ever had one). Reasonable value for the quality, and there is the reassurance of CE certification.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis simple RCD safety plug by EXNICEXI could be a life-saver when used with power tools, lawnmowers and the like, and is also a good safety idea when used with extension leads where multiple devices are plugged in. This RCD safety plug is a circuit breaker that will quickly cut the power if an electrical fault is detected — running over your mower’s cable for example — and should then save you from getting an electric shock. This is a device than can be left permanently connected in some household situations, but it is very portable and essential when using mains powered tools in various locations indoors or out. This is a device that should be tested regularly — every time it is used if not permanently connected – and this is very simple to do with the testing procedure printed on the reverse of the socket. Currently around fourteen pounds from Amazon this RCD Adaptor is decent value for the build quality and performance and deserves five stars as an essential safety aid.

as far as I can tell it’s working well, I use it on an extension lead when using power tools etc outside. It’s not tripped yet, but then I guess that’s a good thing?! even though your main fuse box should trip at the first sign of a power leak, I prefer to be safe rather than sorry

    hope my review helped
