    All have different opinions.
I have liked all the fantastic beasts.
And Mads Mickelson ( spelling ? ) was great.
It didn’t for me at least affect the film that they couldn’t use Johnny Depp , due to his court case.
Personally I liked it more than the second.
    Great acting, story etc.
Sadly it seems that we won’t be getting anymore fantastic Beasts films as it didn’t do well enough. So the planned five films won’t happen
Disappointed as your left a bit with ” well now what “.
    Who knows maybe one day.

Totally glad I watched it as it made the other two prequel films to the Harry Potter series make sense. Extremely well made just like the others . Definitely a must for all HP fans x

Enjoyed this film when we went and saw at cinema as a family.
So bought it on DVD to watch again at home during a lazy weekend when nothing much on TV.

I bought this film because I had seen all the other films relating to this one and this one doesn’t
disappoint. a good end to a good series of films.

I had heard not good things from people about this film however, I was sucked in from the beginning. It was so emotive and I loved it. I am obviously upset that Johnny Depp was replaced however, I didn’t watch the other films for Johnny Depp so I believe it is well worth a watch. Leaves me wanting more which I know I’m not going to get anytime soon.

After receiving the item, well within the specified time, I watched it straightaway. I found the film itself was very dark, and at times I struggled to make out the pictures. The volume too, was quite low, despite putting my sound up on both TV and player. to me, the story wasn’t as coherent as previous HP offerings.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI love the Harry Potter films and the Fantastic Beasts movies but this third film just didn’t live up to the hype. I think it may be because Johnny Depp was fired from the role of Grindlewald. It just felt like something was missing. Definitely did not meet the hype around the film however, was watchable.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our Users*No spoilers*

This was good, but still felt a bit of a let down. It seems to have been written to fill the gaps in the storyline, rather than actually tying up any endings from the previous. I really hope there’s another film because it doesn’t feel “done” by the end.

I thought Mads Mikkelsen as Gellert was a good choice in the absence of Johnny Depp. Jude Law’s accent seems to swing between posh and west country, which is just odd and a bit off putting if I’m honest.

If you’re a fan and you’ve watched the other films then you should watch this one too, if for no other reason than it does seem like there will be another film, and the events in this film will be pertinent. Also, there’s some lovely happiness as well and it’s worth watching for those bits too.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersOk this is a great film but mads as the villen? Is a bit wooden this film really missis Jonny Depp omg it really does and it really shows to but let’s move on this film is still good fun great FX great story sad to see nutes love interest get a back seat she only turns up at the end what a waist of a fabulous actress let’s hope she gets a better role next time I hope . On the bluray it’s self all great apart from boy did I have to turn up the volume most of my bluray films I put my volume on 45 and that’s nice and loude but this I had to put at 92 and frankly it could have gone up more lol I don’t understand this at all IV only just started to notice this is happening to films more and more in reasent months I checked settings all normal so note to movie makers what u think are hearing is super acute lol or are are hearing normal like normal people! Sort that out will u lol but this was great nun the less and will also say this actually felt more like a harry potter film than the last two if you know what I mean lol worth it though

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThere is always an expectation when a HP franchise movie is launched and previous reviews show some disappointment. The story is dark and in parts slower but there is still plenty of ‘magic’ especially towards the latter part of the movie. There are several scenes that shine usually involving the magical creatures that the franchise are so good at animating, I won’t add spoilers but there is also fun involved. I think that Mads Mikkelsen is great at suggesting a different kind of evil/darker side to the Grindelwald character more Machiavellian. However, the problem for me was that Jude Law, brilliant as Dumbledore, has more of the same approach and you just don’t get that frisson of energy and danger from the previous J Depp performances that were well established in the previous two movies and that’s were it disappointed. Storyline is good with a nod to real world events of the time, characterizations and cameos are all well acted, there is the usual brilliant cinematic production which we have come to expect from the HP franchise and that’s why I gave it 4 stars.
