Jakob Toretto
A peerless assassin and high-performance driver, Dom’s estranged brother Jakob is an adversary unlike anything the crew have ever faced before. Far from being a cold and calculating evil force, this disgraced U.S. government operative is fueled by a vengeance that’s blood-and- bone deep.
Han
Though Han appeared to meet his bone-chilling fate at the hands of Deckard Shaw long ago, the effortlessly cool Tokyo drifter is back! Han’s sudden reappearance blows the minds of Dom and the rest of his old friends, but they still welcome him back to the crew with open arms.
Queenie Shaw
A calculating East London crime boss and loving mum to her wayward son Deckard, Queenie is as glamorous as she is dangerous. When Dom needs to track down Jakob in London, he knows that Queenie is the best source for accurate intel, even if she is in the midst of casing a high-end jewelry store.
Cipher
A master manipulator who is loyal to no one but herself, Cipher is always steps ahead of her prey. As she manipulates her new partner Jakob and begins her own plans to take down Dom and his crew, it’s never clear whose side Cipher is on…and that’s exactly how she likes it.

Action with humour and family values and even some space travel
9 movies in, this is a great watch for those who like the action packed fuel that is Fast and furious.
Move has action, adventure a bit of comedy with roman be himself and a great cast that make this movie great.
From stealing dvd players to going into space – the fast and furious crew really have taken us on a journey. It’s never going to win an Oscar but for 2 hours just sit back and enjoy the madness of it all.
This is a fun, action packed and genuinely enjoyable addition to the Fast and Furious saga! Yes, some of the action is utterly preposterous, for example, unless Ludicrous had impossibly advanced attraction technology attached to his vehicle’ tires, he would have died in that early ‘I think it is a bridge!’ scene & both Vin Diesel and John Cena would have become brain dead from the cranial trauma they inflicted on each other not to mention the nature of the space scenes) but as a daft, tounge in cheek action movie it’s up there with the Brendon Frasier Mummy trilogy and the Indiana Jones films. I get it, they have taken the series so ridiculously far from the down to earth and very believable settings it started out with, so in that sense, I can feel why so many ppl didn’t jam with this film. However, taken for what the film is, a hyper charged, daft but extremely fun action extravaganza, it’s a lot of fun.
No oscars to see here.
But that’s not the point!
It just entertains.
It’s not meant to be realistic.
Car crash after car crash and
nobody needs a band-aid.
Get over it!
My sister in her 70s loves
all those films she has seen them all.
It is just fun and yes impossible.
Hobs and Shaw makes I believe,
ten in the series, people enjoy
the impossibility of it all.
Look the fans are not stupid,
they watch thinking this is
impossible, but by god enjoyable.
As they say don’t do this for real,
because you will die and kill lots of
other people too. Its just a film!
Typical Fast and Furious franchise going into space in the car, the usual crazy stuff driving cars of cliffs but that’s what we all love about these movies it’s just absolutely crazy, also bringing back characters that have died off & returning characters in previous fast and Furious movies, slightly disappointed about the movie but I still enjoyed it the cast are absolutely amazing as always they work well together. And keeping Bryans character alive. I just hope the next one is fantastic just like the standards of the previous movies.
I think fast 9 was pretty good, the introduction was amazing, that we saw Dom father at the race track. Its been talked about in pretty much all the fast movies and I’m glad they put that in so we could see what happened, and how dom life was effected. The thing that passed me off was the end scene where they all was waiting for Brian. Which I don’t know, he’s been dead since end of fast 7. I know his brothers Cody and Caleb say they will continue play Paul Walker character Brian. But it shouldn’t be like that. Paul had been honored in fast 7 and fast 8. Dom kid was called Brian because of Paul passing away. To bring him back is such a disgrace to the franchise. At this point it’s all about the money. I thought I was done with the fast franchise, but after this performance it was amazing. The only bad thing is that at the end, that all the rest is good, just as good as the next fast and furious.
It’s surprising that a movie that was 5 seconds away from being sent direct to video, turned into this 11 movie franchise. This entry Is the next step in its evolution. The stunts are amazing, the plot is as thin as a sheet of paper, and it’s, as usually around the concept of an ever growing family. After almost two yrs of no blockbusters, this felt like a nice welcome back to what’s familiar, and yet, the keep upping it and surpassing themselves to the point where you wonder how can it be topped twice more. Image and sound are nearly flawless. Flashbacks have a grainy look because they were shot on film, while the rest of the movie was digital. Movie sounds great. There are 2 cuts of it, theatrical and Extended (about 7 more minutes), it’s a fun wild ride, and a nice way to spend an afternoon. Extras are kind of slim. A bunch of very short 5 to 10 minute documentaries, and a commentary track on both cuts of the movie, all accessible in the 4K and the blu-ray as well.
The usual mix of outrageous stunts with high-speed and fight action enhanced
w8h an impassive array of special-effects which coupled with the 4k format
becomes a visual treat.
These days Dom (Vin Diesel) and his wife Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) content
themselves with family life having left the criminal/fast and furious life behind
them ?…..however, when a call comes in to say Mr Nobody’s plane had crashed
n hostile territory, the team persuade Dom and Letty to return to what they know
best.
This time however, the bad-guys appear to being led by Dom’s estranged brother
he’d not seen for years Jakob (John Cena)
The two hold long-held grudges against each other, many flash backs to earlier
times explaining this.
A one-on-one conflict inevitable.
Have been looking forward to the continuing saga’s latest for some time, have
to say the plot’s are becoming more and more outrageous and perhaps fanciful,
last time we saw the team destroy a stolen nuclear-armed sub, this time two
team members go into orbit to foil a plot ?????????
However, always great-fun.
