It’s not the first one I have had, and I didn’t want an all dinging all dancing one. So this one is perfect has everything I need. If you are thinking of buying one – go for it it’s good.
I had an old Fitbit for a number of years and was pleased with it but this one has ironed out the few niggles I had the old one. The battery charger clips on to the watch and the dial is activated by movement rather than the old button to press.
Seems fine, not sure how accurate the steps counter is, but I’ve only got short legs !
Never had one before, and it suits my simple purposes as a health monotor for a 70 year old
I djust monitor my BMI, Heartrate and sleep . . . I certainly don’t exercise, just walk
Bought for my wife as a way to track steps, and as an entry level smartwatch it’s very good! Step tracking works well and you can manually enter when you’re exercising. You can also link it up to your phone to get notifications of messages and calls. It’s nice because it isn’t too big and flash, although the smaller screen may be an issue for anyone with limited eyesight or dexterity.
I really love this and it is as good as my old inspire HR, plus it has the find my phone function.
The only annoying things are that it’s difficult to turn the alarm off completely as it goes easily to snooze, and you can’t set the countdown for more than an hour.
Apart from that, it’s great!
Love it but had to resort to Google several times:
Wasn’t vibrating to indicate a text/call
Didn’t display when I flicked my wrist
So very annoying but sorted it out eventually.
I do love that it’s quite small and the strap is comfortable.
I was after a decent basic fitbit. It’s fine. Don’t have to charge often (I generally top it up 10 minutes every other day). There’s no subscription required for the basic features, which is all I need. Not having had one before, I found set up and operation a little complicated, but OK. Now that I’m used to it, the features I like are easy to access.
I particularly like the fact that it communicates with my phone to display emails and messages. Handy when I’m travelling and don’t want to take my phone out.
It perfect fit a big front screen comfortable to wear durable big enough time display track my sleeping steps and everything as advertised very happy with purchase recommend to anyone who likes fit bit but only wants a small one
I just wanted a reliable watch which could encourage me to move more and keep an eye on my steps and heart rate . I recently started exercising more and pleased to see my heart rate stats improving. The watch does so much more, most of it wasted on me. So it does what I need and feels comfortable and is reliable and I like it.
The app gives good data and we generally find the tracking of steps to pretty accurate, along with easy tracking of exercise.
The tracker is light and comfortable on the wrist, with none of the rash issues we’ve had with earlier straps. You get both a small and large strap in the box, so no need to select your size on ordering as you had to with previous models.
The main gripe is the text size. The watch face can be configured to fill the screen, but whereas previous devices enabled you to tap through the data such as steps and heart beat at full screen size, the config here only allows this data to show as sub text at a much smaller font.
For my wife this was a major gripe as she likes to check her heart rate during exercise and found it hard to see it on the screen.
Overall, as we didn’t want a full watch-sized tracker, this fits the bill and is one of the few of this type of tracker still on the market. Our previous Fitbits have died after a couple of years, so time will tell if this model is any more robust.
It’s much easier to read outside which is a bonus.
Also you can receive texts if it’s connected to your phone, which is useful if you have a Job where you can’t have your phone on you all the time. Just means you can see any urgent messages from people which is pretty handy!
Would recommend for people who want to track their exorcise, diet and weight, but don’t want to spend loads.
