Great quality and looks great. Bought as a replacement for my old versa, which only died because of my stupidity! Battery life is great if you don’t have the screen permanently on, otherwise charging daily. Much cheaper than the apple and does nearly everything the same. Would definitely recommend.
With the Fitbit Versa 4, I haven’t really had to worry about battery life — it lasts long enough, and it doesn’t take much time to fully recharge. On the other hand, the Samsung was reported to last only around two days at best, and I knew I’d likely find it dead when I needed it or charging when I wanted to be active.
My main focus was the fitness and health features rather than the general “smart” functionalities, and after a few weeks of use, I’m glad I chose the Fitbit. It’s easy to use, does all I need it to, synced smoothly with my other apps, and overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.
two negative points: if I don’t take the cell with me when I go running, the watch won’t save my run on Strava! And The GPS must always be on!!! If I go to the gym or train at home, it records the workout on the Fitbit app but it doesn’t automatically go to Strava (it only goes to Strava for GPS activities). To do this, I found a user on the internet who created an app for this purpose (which I think is incredible) called Fittostrava.
Some specifications include a heart rate monitor, sleep tracker, and various exercise modes. It also offers smartphone notifications, allowing me to stay connected even during workouts. The watch is lightweight and comfortable to wear all day, and the touchscreen is responsive and easy to navigate.
Pros:
Built-in GPS for phone-free tracking
Long battery life of up to 6 days
Comprehensive fitness and health tracking features
Comfortable and lightweight design
Easy-to-use touchscreen interface
Cons:
Limited app selection compared to other smartwatches
No built-in music storage
Screen can be hard to read in bright sunlight
Overall, the Fitbit Versa 4 has been a great choice for me to stay on top of my fitness goals and I have found the heart rate monitor to be pretty decent as I sometimes compare it with my Polar chest band monitor which is definitely very accurate.
The smartwatch is compatible with both Android and iOS, making it versatile and easy to integrate with my other devices. The range of fitness and health tracking features, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, and various exercise modes, is comprehensive and helps me stay on top of my health goals. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the watch itself is sleek and comfortable to wear all day.
Overall, the Fitbit Versa 4 is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to enhance their fitness journey with reliable and advanced technology. Highly recommend!
Love my watch. My old Versa kept needing to be charged e very 3 hours. This one goes for about 4 days. I can also take calls too. Nothing else to say. Very happy custome
My Old fitbit watch was good but this one i Use exclusively for sleep tracking. My old fitbit had to be Synced when it was turned on. This one is good because It sync’s almost immediately. the display is perfect and the information is there for me to review at anytime. Its without doubt perfect.
Bought this after a friend loaned me an older version to try and I liked the size of the display and fit.
Plenty of clock faces to choose from in the app.
Had some teething problems when it wasn’t registering my exercise time fully but works fine now after restarting the Fitbit and installing a new update. Started with it on full brightness which drained the battery somewhat but dropped it down a degree and it’s still easy to read outdoors. Especially like the strap which doesn’t have any metal on to irritate the wrist.
It’s prefect highly highly recommend. Side note, never get a Samsung watch. Their phones and TV are elite, watches not so much.
Bought this version without GPS as it promises 5 days battery and it doesnt fail. In fact, I can get up to a week of life between charges, which is great when heading off for long weekends or holidays. All the usual fitbit features, very happy with service from seller.
A good watch but the GPS is never accurate. It always misses bits of my runs or smooths corners etc. As a result it thinks a 5k run is 4.5k. Not the end of the world but a bit frustrating.
Upgrade from another Fitbit bigger screen more apps to keep up with personal health, all round great smart watch I doubt anyone would be disappointed buying this or receiving one as a present.
wanted gps tracking but apparently versa 4 does not do this but rest of watches options are very good so in spite of no location tracking still happy with versa 4 watch.
Looks smart & 2 strap lengths after rummage in box which are super easy to change. Have yet to see how easy features are to use but so far seems ok.
The sleep monitoring is interesting and useful for telling you your quality of sleep which is of great importance for physical recovery and for mental health monitoring. The higher quality of sleep the better.
I like that there are plenty of watch faces to change whenever you feel like it, using the fitbit app. Not all are free but there are plenty that are.
On the downside, I find the strap very fiddly. You do get two sizes which is helpful and you can buy more online to change the look or just have more comfort.
The step count i find is highly inaccurate. It tells me daily I have done over 10,000 steps which I dont think is true. It once told me I had done this when I was driving my car home from work one evening, and I had been sat in the car for 15 minutes at that point. So as a step tracker, I dont think it’s entirely accurate, unfortunately.
All in all, I would recommend it if you exercise frequently as it’s a helpful tool for monitoring heart rate, calories burnt and times your session. It counts upwards so is helpful for monitoring rest times and keeping them to what they should be. Downside is the strap and step counter.
EDIT: Well after 3 months, my fitbit has bit the dust. It refused to charge and now the battery is dead and the watch wont turn on at all. A great shame as I was reasonably happy with it, but thankfully Amazon will refund me. Hard to say if I would buy another one in this moment, but I would consider something else, sadly.
