Its not too often that a product once in your hands looks much better then the images used online to sell the product, but to get a better sense of how cool this is, watch the video and not go by the photos.
Its an incredibly light (by weight) object with the choice of powering either via USB or battery. The acrylic butterfly is perfectly etched with bold thick lines that capture the light below brilliantly. The base is white and has a lava like crack design which also illuminates. The design also includes a short message “Best Mum Ever”
If you are familiar with RGB LED gadgets and gizmos then you’ll already know to expect the usual rainbow via 7 colour choices, as is the norm. There’s no customisability, but you don’t need that for this item.
I’ve not taken pictures of it working (yet) because it’s a gift for Mum this coming Sunday. I’ll get her to take a pic of it when she’s set it up.
Easy to assemble, easy to use, and sure to put a smile on many a Mother’s face.
I bought this for mum for mothers day, though it doesn’t just have to be for mothers day, as it’s a general message of appreciation for any mum.
It is very easy to out together, you just slot the top part into the base, put batteries or plug the supplied lead into a power adapter to plug it into the mains, and you’re good to go; you just tap the base to change colours or hold your finger on the base to turn it off. It’s a really pretty mood light like gives a room a relaxed mood, like a candle but without the naked flame of a candle.
I love this light for its message alongside a butterfly due to a wonderfully poignant moment during my mother’s funeral when a butterfly hovered around me for several minutes. Since then I have forever associated a butterfly with my mum and this light will be turned on next to her picture whenever I need to remember her. A simple idea, effectively presented with light provided from below the acrylic display by either a USB cable or batteries (not included). At 9.99 (at time of review), it is a delightful reminder of someone special.

It can be placed anywhere in the room because of different power changes. There are 10 beautiful vibrant colour changes. This is a lovely gift for Mothers Day. It lights up multiple colours that changes easily at the touch of the base. It can run off battery and USB which is great as my Mother In Law doesn’t have to worry about it being near a plug or worry about leaving it plugged in all the time. Very easy to use and adds a lovely light to any space.
A friend’s mum is going to be absolutely knocked out with this night light for Mothers’ Day, and the loving irony won’t be lost on her either. He has very poor vision, and much time and money has gone into providing him with sensory lights and illumination, she will appreciate this as a nice return gift of light.
As well as a good idea, this is extremely well made and presented – the light system clear and effective, 7 colours revolving on a striking butterfly motif, on a nice ‘cracked’ effect base. Works equally well powered by USB or batteries (battery life is more than decent), and can be situated as you please, anywhere in the house. The asking price is more than fair, considering the quality of the product, which isn’t Mothers’ Day specific, the message is an all year round one!
smaller than i imaged, i also bought the 3D headphones image and much prefer the quality of that one.
the lights not as bright as i thought they would be. however, very nice quality and easy to put together. bonus that it can be plugged into the wall and also use batteries.
