Moved into a new house and put beautiful new floors down. These have been a very useful bit of kit. Not a mark from any piece of furniture – good variety as far as size goes.
We recently had white marble floors fitted and very quickly realized we needed furniture pads to stop the floor being marred by heavy appliances. And these have worked a treat, plenty of sizes to choose from and they even make pulling freestanding machines out a doddle so much easier to clean underneath more often. We’ve also used them on our SPC flooring to prevent table legs denting/scratching. Great value, I would recommend.
So far so good and have stuck to furniture as expected and have not come off when I move furniture to clea
These are absolutely brilliant, placed under legs of kitchen chairs and table legs, they now glide over my newly installed flooring, so many more uses, ie ornament bases, stops scraping precious furniture
These have fabulous adhesive quality. We have used them on two different couches, chairs and tables and all are still in place after much swapping around of furniture.
They come in a pack with various already cut out sizes and shapes. As well as some for you to cut to measure yourself. I have been using them for over 6 months now and they have stopped the chair legs scratching the wooden floors. I can also move big toy boxes with the stickers on the bottom without causing any scratches. I still have lots left over to use when needed.
They are sticky enough to last 6 months so far and no sign of them peeling off yet.
As long as you clean the surface you’re sticking them to they work well
Did exactly what it said on the tin. Highly recommended
These pads are great for sticking on furniture feet but don’t last long before they need replacement if you move the furniture around quite a bit
Generally they are great
Can recommend
it is good but the sticky is not strong enought, it slipes in time.
These are amazing. You wouldn’t believe what you can use them for! As well as my initial purpose for buying them, I have stuck them on all my kitchen cupboard doors so they shut quietly. I have stuck them on the wall where doors open and handles bang on the door – brilliant! I have now stuck them on all my desk drawers pulls, so they do not bang back into place. Everywhere i look in my house, I see another use for them! The bottoms of all my nick-nacks, ornaments and vases now don’t ‘mark’ any surfaces. You can stick them on ANY item that normally gets put down a bit heavily after use, and the item is protected! There is no limit to the uses these can be put to. Get some – you will find a use for them!
Good product & seems to work well though we’ll see how adhesive they really are & how long they stay put.
My only problem is that I bought black as it was for use on a black metal chair but the sticky end of the felt is brilliant white so you get a ring of white between the 2 lots of black, not the seamless look I was after.
Ever since we had a quality wood floor installed we’ve used Felt Pads on all of our furniture. Both static items as well as ones that get moved around a lot (like stools & chairs). And doing so we’ve come across some good ones that stick well and some awful nasty ones that fall off as soon as their used!
So how do these Hynec variety fair. Well they are at the upper end of the scale, thankfully. Though I should warn (as I discovered after watching my sister use some on her furniture) …. ensure whatever you are sticking it too is Clean, Grease Free and not covered in Dust otherwise like most complainers will find …. they don’t stick.
And this is especially the case when used on stool/chair legs that have been used for years and have picked up all sorts of dirt on their surface!
To combat this issue, simply clean and dry [I actually lightly sand and de-grease the surfaces at the bottom of any wooden furniture, allow to dry and then use a Glue Activation spray I have in my woodworking tool kit that’s used for gluing mitre joints] .. though remember, if you use them on the bottom of chairs and the like. if you shuffle around on them they will ‘creep’ due to the added weight of your bulk acting against the friction between the floor and the pad.
For these Pads … it’s a 4 out of 5 as they could be stickier …. but at the end of the day they defiantly do do what they are designed for. Help protect your floors.
