There are plenty of experiments to keep your child busy and curious. My son loved every last one of the experiments and I loved watching him explore and learn new things all whilst having fun.
    Its definitely worth buying

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMost will remember chemistry sets from their formative years, well this is a development on that. Not quite so starchy or high brow – but I tell thee, the contents is more than capable of wrecking dad’s kitchen and dining table.
    A thoughtful mix of activities.
    Character building.

My daughter loved the experiments. The kit comes with a lot of the things you need to do the experiments and the some of the other items need are ingredients most people keep in their cupboards.

You get lots of activities with most of the stuff required, the other stuff is just household cooking items, comes with a book with how-to. Book is easy to read and follow, definitely for the age bracket it says. My 7 year old brother was overjoyed both with the gift and the activities. Would recommend!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersHad great fun with my 6yr old playing with this. A lot of the experiments are repeatable as well (ie it isn’t a 1 time thing), which means he can now do a lot of it himself.
As far as an educational tool, it peaked my sons interest, as he wanted to understand how everything worked…perhaps the downside is that as a parent you actually need to know what causes the reaction and why a (for example) volcano erupts!!!
Why not 5*? The reactions themselves weren’t as ‘explosive’ or exciting as I’d have hoped, and a lot of it you could do yourself without the kit.
However, especially for the price, really good fun, and great for a rainy day

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersThis was bought as a Christmas present for a nearly 8 year old, who really likes to experiment and explore things. She was extremely happy to receive this kit, and started to use it the other day. They said everything went well, though you need a few things to be able to do all of these experiments, they said they were ok with everything as you normally have these in your household anyway like vegetable oil, paper, salt, glass jar, teaspoons, water etc. It is an affordable kit which contains quite a few experiments so kids can be busy for a few days not only one is a bonus too! All in all I’m happy I purchased this as I made our friends’ little girl very happy!

Golden Review Award: 210 From Our UsersI bought this as a gift for my nephew’s 7th birthday. I wasn’t too concerned that the product is for 8s and over, he seems to be quite advanced. Since it’s arrival he spends an awful lot of time down in the garden shed. I often hear pops and bangs and whistles coming from there, along with smoke of various colours trailing out of the windows. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the family pets are gradually disappearing and that he has asked for his own phone line in there. The part that really worries me is that he has now asked for a set of jump leads and a blowtorch for his next gift. I’ve given it four stars because despite potentially sinister results, he is really growing into the future professor I know he will be.
