Since the start of the menopause my skin has been really oily and I have to say that this is definitely making a difference, only thing is the smell, I personally find it a little unpleasant but that wouldn’t put me off using it as the results are good.
Thank you, Amazon. My local supermarket and Superdrug had run out, Amazon was the only place that had it. Thank you. This is the only moisturiser that works on my skin. Low scent, no shine, keeps my face moisturised and clear.
i love this product. Its a little on the sticky side but that ok! put it on before bed and wake up with fresh glowing, soft skin!
The product goes on my skin lovely it smells gorgeous and lifts my mood in a morning its a very good product jus wish they would make a bigger tube its that nice

You don’t need much only a small amount or it does dry lumpy so only a small amount to put on face and rub in.
I put it on before makeup and wash and clean to put on ready for bed. Lovely job.
Leaves a matte finish especially when paired with serums and sunscreen. Doesn’t last as long as 8 hours but still lasts a long time which isn’t a problem at all. My sensitive-ish skin doesn’t have a problem with this at all.
It works but doesn’t last all day. I have very shiny skin on my nose so though I’d try this. It goes on nicely and works but I do need to reply layer in the days
Finally I have found the cure for my oily greasy skin. My skin gets so oily- you could fry an egg on it. But this completely mattifies my face. Yay! I found a cure! Not a wonderful scent but who cares. It cures the oil problem!
I have been using this for a while now and really like it, it is not greasy and soaks into the skin really well, especially like the matte and it doesn’t make your face look shiny.
It is great for when you are hot too as is cooling when you apply it.
Usually order from Boots but they’ve not been stocking it lately, and it was cheaper on here.
I have combination skin and really struggle to find a moisturiser that is suitable for my sensitive skin but also doesn’t irritate. This was pretty solid, T-zone doesn’t shine and is matte like it says. Would recommend.
I don’t know if it’d be okay for sensitive skin it does have a chemical smell but a nice one not a off-putting smell, no film or peel issues. I have oily skin and this has helped me so much, I’m using it along side other skincare too. It’s a great price and a big bottle
Hands down the only moisturiser that actually works on my sensitive skin. Leaves my face less red and glowing, it has reduced my spots and left my skin feeling softer and cleaner. I could not recommend more for people with problem skin!
I love this product. For years, I’ve suffered with super oily skin and this is the only product which actually stops my skin from being oily. My face is never dry, never oily. It’s perfect. My acne has cleared up after just a week of using it. For those who don’t have really oily skin, I wouldn’t use it as it will probably dry your skin out. But for anyone who has really oily skin like myself, I strongly recommend this.
If you have oily skin. You need to try this product. I use it twice a day. 1 just before applying makeup. The other before I go to sleep and my makeup actually feels and looks better. The mattifying effect does work without drying out my skin. I have a little bit of dry skin under the chin. This seems to irritate this a little so probably wouldn’t use if you have dry skin or sensitive skin .
This cream is good although you need to use it everyday to feel effect. After one week of using this you see that skin is getting better. It’s quite easy to remove and great for sensitive ski
I have oily skin, by lunchtime my make up has slid off and I have open pores, black heads and white heads. Thanks to this moisturiser my make up lasts all day, my pores are clear and there fore hard to see and I have no spots, really pleased with it.
I bought this product as I have very oily skin, and all other moisturisers only seem to make the issue worse. This product is great – after 2 weeks use I have noticed a huge difference!
I use after cleansing and toning my face (with other Garnier skin active products), and then apply before I use makeup. It keeps the oil at bay for longer than 8 hours. Makeup stays on for much longer and my skin doesn’t feel dried out. After my nightly cleanse, I use something slightly more hydrating (Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream Moisturiser).
I would certainly recommend a trial of this! It’s great value and is feels much better than other, more expensive moisturisers.
I like this moisturiser. It doesn’t react with my sensitive skin. I have very oily prone skin, and it does mattify. I have not yet used it under makeup. But on an ordinary day it does the job.
Wanted a matte cream. Love the brand. This is a very lightweight cream. Think maybe a bit too watery. But it keeps my skin matted and doesn’t cause me to have a break out.
I gave this product 4 because it goes on lovely and isn’t greasy on application but after a few hours my skin does feel greasy again. I don’t blame the product but it wasn’t a miracle for me.
This cream has been a life saver. For years I have been suffering from oily, shiny skin. I have tried out multiple products and through sheer luck I stumbled across this creme. This is the first time in years my skin looks healthy, I don’t suffer from any outbreaks anymore and the oil in my skin also reduced.
Love this! I’ve used everything on the market, including a heavily advertised one on tv by “celebs” which was expensive but atrocious. THIS however is amazing, has cleared my skin, keeps it clear, apart from the odd spot but no where near what it used to be. This is my little wonder cream! Would deff recommend it, I have oily skin and works wonders for me, I use it morning and evening and I use it as a primer before I apply my makeup.
As others have said, definitely more of a gel than a cream, meaning you only need to use a small amount to cover your face. I find with this product that less really is more.
It absorbs in seconds, leaving my skin looking matte and smooth. It gives my skin an almost velvety texture which I love.
Too early to tell if it helps with my acne and uneven skin tone, but it certainly doesn’t aggravate or inflame my skin. I’ll update my review in a few weeks with further thoughts on this.
My pores look less visible instantly, and it gives me the confidence to go easier on the heavy foundation and concealer combo I usually have to trowel onto my face.
The only downside is that it certainly doesn’t last 8 hours. I have to touch up my T – zone after just 4! However, the bottle/tube is small enough to keep in my handbag for emergencies.
The smell is sweet and pleasant too.
All in all, a wonderful little product!
Update!
After using the product for a while I started discovering dry flaky patches around my nose. These burned a little when applying the gel.
I believe this was down to me using twice daily.
I’ve only knocked one star off for this reason, as I believe that for occasional use it works great.
I really like this face serum. It’s more of a gel than a standard cream moisturiser but I found it really soothing and cooling on my skin.
I’m not sure it worked very well under my make up but I will continue to use it as just a moisturiser for make up free days.
