The show as a whole was great, filled with joy and laughter and was able to make you well up at times. However, I do wish/hope that this ‘Definitive Collection’ is released on Blu-ray, maybe? Also I’m not alone in thinking this, but I’m surprised there hasn’t been another special following on from the cliffhanger of 2019’s Christmas special, it leaves the door open, probably not for a full series, but at least another special or two.
This however, is in the hands of the creators and writers Ruth Jones & James Corde
A beautiful story of a boy from Essex falling in love with a girl from Barry Island in Wales. I love this cast so much written by Ruth Jones and James Corden who play Nessa Jenkins (Stacey’s best friend) and Colin ‘smithy’ Smith (Gavin’s best friend) along with Stacey’s mum Gwen, uncle Bryn, brother Jason and nutty next door neighbour Doris. Then on Gavin’s side we have his parent’s Mick and Pam, and their friends Pete and Dawn. It’s a story of love, travelling, misunderstanding and lot’s of crazy capers in between, foam party’s, hen do’s, an accidental pregnancy and a whole lot more. I’ve loved this series from day one and was so excited to see the 2019 Christmas special which is featured in this complete dvd box set. Very highly recommend!

Great show very funny. But didn’t work to make mum learn how to use a dvd player.
But still so amazing and I will long term borrow it when I can hehe
Never watched this series when it was on the TV.
Saw some clips on YouTube and decided to buy the whole series. I was not disappointed . It is well written and well acted and an extremely entertaining. I hope they make some new episodes in the future.
As the back of the box doesn’t say could I ask anyone who has bought this set if the original extras are on the regular series and also is the 2019 Christmas special blu-ray or standard definition?
Hope someone can help before I decide to trade in my old sets.
Bought this from Rarewaves UK from Australia. The postage time was conservative which was good at this time of year never mind covid. They kept in touch with me and my package arrived yesterday. Highly recommend.
