The grass came through lovely and thick. A much better value product than the main brand items. The only thing that this misses out on compared to the main brand is that it’s delivered in a bag therefore doesn’t have an applicator that the main brands normally build into the box

Used for patches on lawn. Took 2-3 weeks to fully fill the spaces. Nice thin grass shoots, great for lawns. Have cut it a few times now and still looks great. Tried to buy again but not available. Previous grass seeds I brought were thick and grew quickly. These were excellent. Will buy again when available.

I bought my first bag last summer and used this to fix patches on my lawn, it worked very well and speedily. I have now purchased x 2 further bags to seed a scarified lawn. Its very good quality and excellent value for money compared to shopping in town! It is very well packaged and arrived the day I ordered it I ordered at 06.30am and received it at 5pm that same day…fabulous service thank you.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis is a very good product and grows very well, my only complaint is the coverage.
In the headline it says 55m for New Lawns, then later in the description says 35m for new lawns but in the instructions with the product it says 35g for a square metre so 1kg is not going to do 55m or 35m.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was my first time attempting to grow grass. Many people said it would be very difficult this time of year and on top of that the soil where I live is clay based. I put the seed down without doing any proper research beforehand on a large bald patch in my garden without doing anything to the ground beforehand. Simply watered daily, low and behold 2 weeks later I had lovely healthy grass shoot up, I was very surprised! I then did another round after aerating the ground and adding some fertiliser and the results are incredible. What was a complete bald area is now lush and green. Highly recommend this seed.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI first sowed the seed in April in my north facing front garden and had read the reviews that said it was quick to grow. I was starting to loose faith after two weeks and had only short patchy stubble. Then it gathered momentum and within another week had a light covering and by the forth week – it was uniform green, apart from a patch a cat pee’d on, which I reseeded and within a week it had regrown.
Watering is important in the early stages as it really responds to the damp soil. I would also add some words of wisdom that top soil isn’t as important as making sure the grass makes good contact with the soil – I trod over the area lightly to firm up the loosened soil so the seed was in close contact.
I reseeded the back garden in July, which is south facing and within 4 days it was already starting to show and established very quickly within two weeks. As it was the wettest July on record, no watering was necessary other than in the more sheltered areas. The lawn is a lovely spring green, the seed is single strand and not clump forming. I’ve had plenty of comments from my neighbours and friends – I would highly recommend this product. I may have overlooked the instructions, as I couldn’t find any in the packaging, but there are so many tutorials on sowing seed – it was a no brainer.

Quality grass seed, it grows beautiful soft grass, I have bort this a few times now as I re-seed my lawn, reccomended, this is better than the big brands in the shops.

Have purchased several bags of this as have a large (100m2+) lawn to sow and have been very impressed in the final grass that develops. I would recommend sowing slightly thicker than recommended and definitely make sure the seed is covered as this makes a big difference to what comes up I found, I used standard 60l compost bags from our local garden centre spread just enough to cover the bulk of the seeds and the grass was up within a week, fully matured within 3. Growth is so good I have been cutting it every 7-10 days, really good quality lawn.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersOnly took around 3 weeks to get to this stage.
Had very good luck with the weather.
While it was growing I used a cheap lawn fertilizer from marries.
The pic is from when I gave it it’s very first cut.

Birds seem to be attracted to the seeds so my grass is no better off in some areas – had to get pea netting to cover, dog has since peed on the grass again and killed it – rinse, repeat.

Overseed / new lawn. 2 weeks before I fertilised ground then cut back lawn and scarify ground add top soil and spread 2kg GBW seed. Results pic 1&2 . Watered twice daily 6.45am 6pm.
Pic 3&4- 1 week later, germination started still watering twice daily.
Pic 5 is 14 days after seed application.
Seed quality is good nice blend of grasses. Too marks GBW!
    Recommend!!

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersAfter reading plenty of positive reviews, I decided to make a purchase. I am by no means a professional and didn’t follow the instructions. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a before picture, but I can explain my process. First, I cut the grass to the lowest level, then scarified the lawn until it looked bare. Next, I used my seed spreader to cover most of the area, and then I covered it with soil. I let the natural rain take over from there. This is the progress after 4 weeks of starting. It is highly recommended, and I will purchase again. Around 90% of the lawn has been covered, but there are some sections that did not take, so I will focus on those patches.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhat can I say the photos speak for themselves ..after much deliberation I decided to take action on the never ending moss in my lawn.. of which I would say was a good 75%.. after treatment most of my garden went black and turned to dust.. I gave it a really good rake and started again this seed is brilliant after the grass started to come through I purchased another couple of bags and have overseeded every two weeks and watered the seed down into the grass root and kept it well watered till germination has taken place ..my new lawn now resembles Astro turf lush and Green perfec

This was easy to grow and fast to germinate. Like most seed, it needs daily watering. Maybe hard wearing but haven’t tried walking on it yet. Looks lovely and healthy. A seed distributor such as cardboard box with a hole in one side is required to get even coverage. Very pleased with the result.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood quality seed. After reading up quote extensively on the best type of seed for me I landed on this stuff. A mix of different grass types, so soft grass and also slightly tougher so should last well once established.

I had a bare patch left after a skip had been on the lawn for too long. Very easy to sow and grow and needed very little maintenance, though I would recommend regular gentle watering of course.

I simply raked any excess leaves/dead grass etc, roughed the soil, spread seeds and watered. Ideally you’d add a sprinkle of top soil over the seeds but I skipped this and they still took well.
