This is a sturdy bit of kit that is well made but I think needs improvement. It is nice that this comes supplied with a pack of 50 targets, replacements are readily available in this size. I set mine up outside under the porch of my summerhouse for a bit of protection but was surprised to find that after a couple of weeks it has started to rust where the paint has worn off due to pellet impacts. Even though it was semi covered, rain water has made it into the back of the trap and filled up the pellet reservoir causing rust to form. I will be drilling a hole and repainting to prevent further corrosion. I was shooting using a UK legal sub 12 footpound rifle in .177 and there was no deforming of the metal so it is definitely up to the task of holding the paper targets securely I just wish that for the price they could have sorted out the corrosion issue.

I really like this! It’s really well constructed and works perfectly at catching pellets, preventing the dreaded ricochet that would upset the neighbours! The tap comes with 50 targets that simply slip into the frame. Attach it to a suitable spot in the garden, and you’re ready for an afternoons target practice. Highly recommended.

I always try to write an honest and unbiased review of all the products I order. My reviews are only my opinion, of course, but I hope they help.

This target is great quality and works really well. It is easy to use and I love that it collects the pellets in the back as it makes keeping my area clean and tidy. It is well made and easy to hang up on a wall or post. I’m very pleased with this.

My brother has just started playing airsoft and my son is really interested so I got this to put in the garden so my brother could bring his airsoft over for my son to try. This target is affordable and versatile and it will help up your skills And aim. The target holder itself is made of a sturdy metal material that can be hit It fits standard size cardboard targets and does what it’s supposed to do.

Great bit of kit, can save you a little on reclaimed pellets/bullets too although I do find they tend to rebound a little and pile up behind the card but as long as you’re aware of that when emptying and flip it to make sure all the pellets are in the reclaim section then you’ll not end up with even more mess. Paper targets work as expected giving you a visual of how good or bad you really are at shooting!

In the grand scheme of airsoft accessories, this target is a keeper. It’s affordable, versatile, and it’ll help you level up your shooting game. Whether you’re a beginner looking to improve your aim or a seasoned pro, it’s a load of fun. One thing that makes it even more fun is the satisfying “ping” sound when you hit the target. It’s like music to my ears, seriously. I’ve used this target both indoors and outdoors, and it’s been a blast in both settings. It’s a perfect addition to my backyard shooting range, but it’s also a great way to pass the time on a rainy day indoors (As long as your aim is on point).

The target holder itself is made of a sturdy metal material that can take a hit. I’ve been plinking at it for a while now, and it’s holding up well. Just don’t go Rambo on it with a .22 (I’m sure it would handle it) and it should last.

For 19.99 this is a no brainer, you also get a load of targets with it to keep you busy. I just got myself a Glock 19X that fires metal BB’s and have been having a lot of fun in the back garden with it.

This is a very good quality pellet trap. It’s made of stainless steel so is very solid, and also withstands the impact of the bullets.

It has pre cut slots to fit it to your wall, and then the target is easily slotted into the front of it. The pellets collect inside (assuming your aim is on!!) so you can safely collect them, preventing pets accidentally getting hold of any etc as it’s easy to miss them when collecting off the floor, and you can also see how well you did accurately as it’s held firmly in place.

Thanks to another reviewer for the tip of drilling a very small hole in the bottom to empty as the lip does make them less easy to just slide them out.

Finally it comes with 50 target sheets so you have plenty to get on with, and overall I think it’s very good value.

This little target box is pretty standard; it’s designed for 17cm targets – and comes with a free set of said targets in the box – and is made of a steel which is thick and sturdy enough to handle being peppered with air-rifle pellets.

And there’s even a little trap for the pellets, making it easy to collect them after a practice session – so long as your aim is up to snuff, that is!

It is worth noting that the paint will get scuffed off over time, and I’m mildly skeptical about the claim that the unit is made from stainless steel; I wouldn’t be inclined to leave it out over winter! Still, it’s easy enough to touch it up with some anti-rust paint if needed.

Overall though, it definitely does the job!

Not something I had thought of, but obviously the best tool for the job. I have in the past been using bits of steel. tin and off cuts of wood behind targets, I have even used cardboard boxes filled with polystyrene beads. This is an innovation for me a very sturdy steel box the absolute right shape and size for a standard target. Really ensure nothing can continue on further than it was intended and stopping the place being strewed with pellets. good for target practice and setting up sights. Really good box, and it includes a supply of standard targets.
    Five stars from me.

    Packed well and arrived quickly.
    Very well built pellet trap
Had many cheap pellet traps and always managed to blow the back out of them eventually, but this one is holding up very well after about 200 pellets hitting it, not showing any signs of bowing out at the back.
takes standard targets and very well priced for the quality.

This target holder and ammo catcher works well for shooting practice.
Its nicely made from solid stainless-steel metal and finished with a nice green paint so perfect for using outside and leaving out all year round. It’s mounted via a single screw that you hook it over which while it does the job could have at least 2 mounting points for stability. Inside the rear mounting square tube, it catches all your ammo as one end is sealed and the other open with a angled filter to push them down in the middle. It would be nicer if they could have a little access drawer to empty ammo out rather than having to remove it from the mounting and turning it upside down.
It holds the targets very well in the three lips you have on the sides, and I was very happy to get the pack of 50 thin card targets to use with it. This really made it good value for money.
Each target allows the BB to pass through with ease and then it gets collected in the back. For the demo video I was very close, so it shattered some of my bb’s, but this is expected when you are doing a test video at close range, when I moved back later they all remained intact and collected in the back shoot very well. (Just highlights your distance from it is important).
Overall, for 19.99 it’s a great target shooting set and once put up in my garden lots of fun. Its good value for money but just a couple of tweaks would make it even better.

This set comes with a sturdy metal funnel which catches the pellets and 50 reasonably thick paper targets. The metal funnel has a loop at the back so you can hang it on a nail which is what I’ve done, I’ve put a nail in a wooden board and hung the target on it. You can then lift the whole funnel off and tip it up to empty out the pellets that have been caught. The funnel has a lip which is just the right size to hold the paper target. Overall it’s a good, strong, well constructed target system that works well.

This is a decent size garden target for an air gun. Not only are the target cards a good size, but the heavy duty steel case catches all the spent pellets – assuming you do not miss entirely!
The whole unit hangs from a suitable surface with a single nail or screw.
It comes with a thick packet of 10-ring standard Bisley 17x17cm target cards. Replacements are freely available on Amazon.

This is a sturdy and well built pellet trap with a nice green finish. I have seen similar that do not feel as robust as this one and does the job in catching shots on target. There is minimal chance of ricochet if you get your pellets on target as they will bounce down into the catchment in the base of the pillar.
One thing that is worth mentioning is that if you leave it outside, rain water will get trapped in the bottom of the pellet trough, so I have just drilled a small hole in the base to allow water to drain away and not cause rust over time.
All in all, very happy with this trap and have no doubt that this will provide many years of outdoor target shooting.

I was genuinely impressed with this!
The quality of the metal element of this target is actually really excellent and the overall design is great. It thoughtfully collects what’s left of the BB’s in a little collection pot at the back of the target which makes cleanup really simple.

There are plenty of targets included and the printing is clear and easy to read at a distance. This is a great little addition and I’m looking forward to putting it up properly in the garden next spring to get some practice in.

This is a sturdy metal frame for target practice. Just hook on wall, slot a paper target into the frame and fire at will. If you hit the target the pellets are collected at the back of the holder. Just unhook and turn upside down to empty. It feels robust and like it will last a long time, and plenty of targets are included. Just a shame that there were no fixtures to fit to wall.

The boys were delighted with this for using with their air rifles .
They bought one of a similar design before from a different seller about 3 years ago but its very mangled now.

This one is bigger and my husband said it looks much better made and of heavier guage metal.

There are 50 targets that slot in.
These are also good quality card like playing-card thickness.

The back has a keyhole slot so you can fix it to a screw, hook or nail head.

Its about 7 1/4″ square across the opening.

Excellent and pretty much the same as well known makes out there.
    Decent quality steel and paintwork.
A single pan head screw will hold it to something (screw not included) and the ample supply of targets fit neatly into the slots.
The cone directs the pellets into the holder so that they can be emptied out safely at the end of the day.
The targets don’t tear too much so you can see where you have shot.
The pellets used in the pictures were .22
    Excellent – can’t fault i

Greenmall Air Rifle Pellet Trap Target.

I tested this out with both .177 and .22 pellets. Here’s what I found.

Pros The Pellet Trap is easy to fix to a wall – it has a suitable cut out on the back to fit over a screw or bolt head- see my photos.

If you are on target then it does trap 100% of the pellets inside – which can be shaken out at the end of the session by turing the whole device upside down. This avoid lead contamination to the surroundings.

You get a satisfying “plink” from the 2.2mm thick metal when you are on target. With a .22 at 10m it is not deforming the metal.

It comes with a big pack of 10-ring Standard Bisley card targets to slot inside, each 17×17 cm. Amazon sells packs of 100 Milbro 5-ring targets for less than 10 – and Standard Bisley card targets for less than a pound more – so refills are easy.

Cons If you leave this outside, then rain can enter it but not get out – increasing the chance of rusting.

OVERALL – I like this – and would be happy to get it again.
Delivery was next day to mainland UK – which is very quick.

5.0 out of 5 stars great for plinking - collects the pellets to avoid any contaminatio

This is a simple design which fits standard size cardboard targets and works well at doing what it is supposed to do but it is so loud, obviously this isn’t entirely the ‘fault’ of the trap itself but a combination of a lead pellet clattering into an empty ‘tin box’. I filled mine with damp sand which dramatically reduced the noise (it also reduced the ease of use).
So, if the noise doesn’t bother you then yes it is a great idea but if it does then maybe it isn’t for you.
Oh and it comes with 50 cardboard targets too.

Been using this in the garden with a BB rifle.
So simple to hang with one screw. A good amount of targets that slide nicely into it and the best bit it catches all the BBs instead of them being all over the garden.
Great for practice or like me i have a little competition with my son to see who can score the most points.
It’s actually nice to see him away from the screens and doing something outside for a change
It seems like a solid build and have no issues with it so far.
I wouldn’t recommend leaving outside when not in use as I’m unsure if it would rust but as you can just unhook it you wouldn’t need to leave it outside.
Overall a great item and a good price at 16.99
    Definitely recommended

This is one sturdy, well made, BB/Pellet catcher.
So the thing I like the most about this is that it can be mounted by using a screw and hanging it(see video), or it can be put onto a post.
In my video I used “Steel BB’s” and “Clay BB’s” with a catapult, which it catches really well, and then if using steel BB’s, you can tip them back out to use again, like I do in the video, but also, it caught all of the “MESS”, that clay BB’s make, and then I just tipped it out and threw it away, instead of it making a mess in our garden.
I love the fact that it can be put up and left up, or, it can just as easily be taken down.
All in all, this is a great value addition to anyone’s outdoor activities in my opinion.

i’ve been using this for target practise in my garden. Before I’d just stick a target next to piece of wood and hope it didn’t blow away. This is much better and catches the pellets too. I’m not sure about the longevity but it is so far so good. It comes with paper targets and I’m firing from about 50 feet away using .22 pellets.

It has been really useful and I think I’m going to be shooting more often going forwards.

  29. Aarbee says:

Although a bit small, these are still really good targets and one of my favourite ones to use as they collect all the pellets.

Out of the box you get a 7″ metal square with a few target inserts to use, that’s about as simple as it gets, i set mine up in a small post at the end of my garden, the target is a bit on the small side, so don’t get too far or the bbs may not hit it much, i was about 8m away and seem to be able to hit it consistently though.

It’s really simple to change the inserts and my bbs had no problem going through on most hits, some bounced when i was getting low on green gas. For the most part all the bbs do get collected over on the bottom part of the funnel shape, no bounces and all were intact, keep in mind that this is a heavy metal target, so i was expecting some of the bbs to break for sure.

Overall though, have to recommend it, i’m using it a lot and do really like it.

I’ve been using this with my gas powered pistol which fires metal BB’s and found it to be excellent.

It’s super simple and easy to setup – I have a permanent screw into my fence and when I want to use the target I just simply slide it onto the screw and i’m ready to go.

Supplied with the kit is 50 paper targets which slide into the front guide rails and additional targets can be purchased at a small cost.

I’ve had very little bounce back’s an all the BB’s have remained inside the target.

Durable and well made it should last a long time

    Excelle

So I don’t own anything remotely pellet based, I got this for my sons nerf gun, yes the bullets are ridiculous size, yes they don’t punch through, but it’s a nice target and the base for it is nice and chunky. It appears to have a store inside presumably for people using this as intended, you can then tip remnants out when finished.

This is obviously designed for precision shooting as the size is not much bigger than my hand, if there is a bigger version then I’m tempted to get it for my son.

I recently picked up the Greenmall 17* 17cm Target Holder + 50 Targets for air rifle pellet trap shooting, and so far, my experience with this product has been a mix of ups and downs.
One of the ups was the compact size of the target holder. It was so convenient to be able to take it with me to different shooting locations and not have to worry about lugging around a bulky setup. The 50 included targets were also a nice bonus, giving me plenty of opportunities to practice my aim.
However, I did have a few issues with the product as well. For one, the targets themselves were quite flimsy and tended to fold or crumple easily, which made it difficult to accurately measure my shots. Additionally, I found the target holder to be a bit wobbly when set up, which made shooting a bit more challenging than I would have liked.

Overall, I think the Greenmall 17* 17cm Target Holder + 50 Targets is a decent product, especially for the price. If you’re looking for a convenient and affordable option for air rifle pellet trap shooting, this could be a good choice. Just be prepared for some limitations in terms of target stability and target durability.

Easy to set up and use, and makes shooting my BSA R10 air rifle so much more safer, this rifle is a 12ft/lb and this target holder + pellet catcher works perfectly, the pellets slide through into a section at the back of this metal holder , safe and sound, so is perfect for other places, as usually have to wait to go up the farm in the middle of acres of land and no neighbors, the measurements are pretty accurate and the target papers are thin card. Very pleased and will get a lot of use.

Works very well, I just attached it using a screw and it slots over in to the keyhole slot in the back. It holds the target by it just slotting in the front. I was shooting 177 pellets and the all were caught and none bounced out. The gauge of metal used is thick enough for air rifle and should last a good time.
Overall I was pleased with its performance and would recommend it.

Having had one one these before a few years back, i can note that this is slightly larger than most of these airgun targets, the funnel is manufactured of alloy steel and comes with the backplate post attachment welded to the back of the funnel, along with 50 slot in targets.

In practice the funnel does a good job of catching the pellets, however though i was only utilising a .177 sprung rifle firing pellets from a distance of around forty feet, these did manage to chip off segments of paint from inside the funnel.

Having utilised a steel plate positioned some way behind the target prior to this and running the risk of the odd ricochet this is acceptable to me, as it’s much better than having to worry about where the pellet will end up, were you to shoot at targets without it.

This is a great time, so much better than I was expecting.

It is made of stainless steel and is a good weight it is easily mountable on a fence or a wall to catch all those bb pellets.

It comes in one piece and with approx. 50 targets which simply slide in the guide rails on the front, which are easily changed and not at all fiddly to do. Would of been nice maybe for a bottom opening to the tap so you didn’t have to keep taking this off and on the wall, but other than that this is a great product and will prevent bb pellets being littered around my garden.

So I already have a spinning target I like to take a pop at now and then and now this Target holder from Greenmall which honestly is a nice little target overall includes 50 Targets so overall plenty before a refill and comparing to my spinning target this is a pellet catcher.

This is a solid little target that has been perfect for my Crosman .22 time will tell overall on the longevity of this but for now its perfect I’ve been marking my groupings with dates just to see improvement levels so theres a nice little tip if you don’t already do that or if you are looking to grab this target itself.

If you are into some form of pest control this being 17cm x 17cm is honestly perfect depending on distance it will be away from you as since it’s a small target comparing this to a rat or something groupings will matter for that nice clean shot.

Would recommend but do be cautious as I don’t know if this can withstand the the UK legal limit for an air rifle being 12ft/lb but for 6ft/lb its all good
