The secateurs are very comfortable to hold ; not too light so they can cut very accurately.
They are also nice and large with a bright colour so not easily lost.
I would recommend them 100 % and may even by another pair as a backup !.
They’re great so far – super sharp and cuts like butter through most things. Safety latch can turn on sometimes though but that’s not a biggy, at least it’s not the other way around!
The reason I was so pleased with the secateurs was being an elderly lady of 85 years I was able to use them quite easily and found they were comfortable as well when holding them.
They are easy to use and do the job very well. My old ones belonged to my Mother who had them for years but every time they opened the spring leapt out, so time for some new ones. Couldn’t find what I wanted and then found these and they are perfect. I have small hands and my son has large hands and we can both use them easily. Only downside is that if you put them down they disappear into the garden because they are green.
If you need to put the shears into a plants roots (repotting for example) and you can only use tip, it does not cut at all. You have to use the shears more towards the middle of its blade, then it cuts perfectly.
These are so easy to use. Very sharp and sturdy. Did a fabulous job pruning my roses. Love the fact it has a locking device to keep the blades safe.
It was time for a secateur upgrade, one pair apparently lost (!) another pair (cheap as chips) falling apart. I had a bit of a cast about and despite some negative reviews these seemed to fit the bill at a decent price. Not sure why I didn’t buy them sooner, they appear really well made and feel sturdy in the hand. I don’t have overly large hands but there is no issue in use and they do appear to be extremely sharp and have remained so after some inital use. They are branded as German Gruntek, not sure if they are made in Germany or ubiquitous China, the packaging doesn’t say, but wherever appears to have done a good job. The rubber bump stop is a nice addition and leads to easy, fatigue-free operation and reduces the possibility of catching your skin in the closing blades.
