Had this toy from my baby being 4 months, she is now 6 and loves this mitt, it’s perfect for babies that struggle to keep hold of toys or drop them regularly!
my grandson loves it. he was always chomping on his fists and now he uses this
My 3 month old is a little too small for this, as the hand coordination isn’t great. But will definitely be useful in the future I think.
My little boy is 4 months old and Constantly chewing on everything he can as soon as I put this on his it was instant satisfaction he loves it.
It’s an amazing product and well made he has the choice of two textured areas and the big heart teether also comes with a handy wash bag so happy with this and 100% recommend x
After reading all of the safety testing, this glove had done to it. I had to try it . My little girl loved it straight away (3 months old).
Baby absolutely loves chewing on this glove and loves looking at the bright colours. So good we have 2!
I brought the gummee glove for my little girl who has been chewing on her hands so much lately. This product did not disappoint.
She absolutely loves it.
It comes with a guide on how to use it/introduce it to your little one (which actually really helped!) and wash it (also had a wash/travel bag too!)
I would highly recommend this to any parents who are struggling with teething babies and their sore hands! Arrived quick too! Very happy!
I’ve bought gummee products for years now as a first and second time mum and these are the only products I swear by for teething babies other than teething gels! I cannot fault gummee glove. My eldest son who is now 5, used the gummee glove when he was a baby, as he got older he then moved on to the molar mallet. My little boy constantly had things in his mouth or biting things and gummee products made teething a lot more smoother as he loved using it. As he got older and he is diagnosed autistic he still uses his molar mallet but as a sensory aid. When I fell pregnant and had my second son who started teething quite young, after having used the gummee glove once with my first son I bought it again. This was a must have. I found other gloves didn’t do much for him nor offer him any relief. He loved gummee glove and it helped him when he was cutting his front and bottom teeth. It also deterred him from putting his hand in his mouth. I need to purchase the molar mallet for him now but all I can say is – if you have a teething baby gummee products are a must have! They’ve also lasted really well and wash well
If you’re a parent of a teething baby, you know the struggle of finding something for them to chomp on that won’t break the bank (or your fingers). Enter the Gummee Glove Teething Mitten – this bad boy is a game changer! Not only is it super cute and stylish (I mean, have you seen those designs?), but it’s also a safe and effective way for your little one to relieve their teething pain. Plus, it’s like a mini-handcuff for your baby – finally, some peace and quiet while they’re gnawing on their new favorite toy. 10/10 would recommend to any parent going through the joys of teething
Was excited when I found this as my baby keeps chewing his hands so thought he’d enjoy this. The glove looks great (and quality seems good also), but is still slightly big for his hands (4.5 months) and he’s struggling to use it so mainly gets frustrated when I put it on. I’ll keep trying though, as once he’s a bit bigger I reckon he might love i
It’s a good alter atige to traditional teething toys and comes with a bag that you can put it in to wash in the washing machine. Fits comfortably on my son’s hand, although when they figure out how to take it off, it’s on and off constantly.
If you have a teething baby then buy this!!! It is truly a wonderful & well designed product.
I purchased it for my 5 month old who was desperately chewing down on everything he could find, but he was getting frustrated as nothing seemed to soothe his sore gums properly. He would also lose his grip & drop things as he was biting down so hard, so I would be forever picking it up or forced to hold it to his mouth for him.
However, from the second I put this Gummee Glove on his hand he was gnawing away merrily with such joy on his face!
Plus I can now carry on with chores etc without worrying about him dropping it, which any mum knows is invaluable when you have so much to do!
The side teethers are ideally positioned, as my son would generally choose the side of his fist as a chewing point. He can also grip onto the heart shaped teether at the top with his other hand, which he seems to find helps him steady his fist whilst biting.
I like to take the heart shaped teether out of the glove and tie a muslin to it, and give it to him. He can hold onto it really easily due to its shape & seems to really enjoy rubbing it over his gums, then the muslin is there to mop up the dribble!
The glove is machine washable too – super bonus!
Honestly, this product is a godsend for teething babies! I am so so pleased that I got it, definitely one of my best baby buys & worth every penny compared to other far less effective teething items we’ve tried. I could go on forever about how good this glove is, and how much it has helped my baby.
Your baby will definitely thank you for it!
We absolutely love this glove.
What’s not to love.
The heart teether is removable to use independently from the glove of you wish to do so, not only that you can fridge/freeze it so it’s super cold for those poorly little gums.
The velcro on the wrist can be set to any size so if your baby is small it’s going to fit and the same if you have a chubby baby it’s going to it.
I got the 3m plus one for my 11wk old who’s showing all signs of being a early teether like her brother was and even my son who’s 23months wanted to try it on and it fits his chubby little hands hehe.
It comes with its own little wash bag to keep everything together.
A little booklet and in a lovely little package, with a lot of information on about where the item is made, what it’s made from, the special safety numbers required of a item.
Do NOT buy the other gloves which come up when you type in gummee glove, this is the original and it comes in 3 different colours so no matter gender of baby you can have a glove to suit, not only that the lovely lady who runs gummee has other teething products too which we shall be purchasing soon, so we have the full range.
I wish I had known about these for all my older children and even my son who’s coming up to two, I’m so greatful now my little girl doesn’t have to chew endless toys now like my son did and now has a special glove for chewing.
My baby began showing signs of teething fairly early – at around the 12 week mark (constant drooling, hands and fingers in mouth and crying). The problem I was having was that my baby was using his hands as a teether so much that he was developing sores on his fingers and side of hands. Because he was still very young, he didn’t have the hand control or dexterity to place a teething ring or equivalent in his own mouth. Instead, I would have to hold it there which he wasn’t very keen on. I searched the Internet for different teethers which I thought he might be able to use/hold, but couldn’t find anything suitable. Then I stumbled upon the “Gummy Glove”. I have to be honest in that, at first, I thought that the product might not help at all and that it was very much a long shot. Would my baby be able to bring it to his mouth? Would I be wasting money by purchasing this product? After reading other reviews, I took a risk and purchased the Gummy Glove and I am very glad that I did.
The glove has a detachable heart shaped teething ring at the end, two small gum shapes rubbery tags at the end and a crinkly area (cow print area?) which my baby loved to play with, so as well as a teething device, this product also doubled up as a toy! The glove has a Velcro fastening at the bottom which can be adjusted to fit baby’s hands.
When I first introduced the glove to my baby, he was able to chew on the yellow and purple rubbery bits on the side and seemed to enjoy doing so. The fact that he already loved putting his hands in his mouth meant that he could very easily put the glove to his mouth. The heart shaped teether at the end of the glove proved a little trickier for him to manoeuvre into his mouth at first and it made the glove slightly heavy so he wasn’t able to control it as well and missed his mouth a couple of times! Thankfully, the product is designed in a way which allows this part to be removed. As he got older, he was able to use this part of the glove too. I have also washed the glove several times and it comes out just fine.
Now that he is 5 months old and able to put EVERYTHING in his mouth, the glove is still used – although not in the way intended! He still uses it as a teether but doesn’t wear it on his hand.
I think this product is excellent. However, I do have a suggestion to the creator to improve it further. If the rubbery parts at the side were larger and extended towards the wrist part of the glove, babies would have more chance of successfully placing the rubbery part in their mouths. I understand that this would change the shape, so perhaps having two of the rubbery gum shaped teethers at the side would be better (instead of the tags). Just a suggestion!
