Use this with my St Bernard. Gives me a lot of control in different environments I.e close by me , on a general walk and to give her more freedom. Can use 2 loops do don’t worry she may suddenly lurch forward if scared. Comfortable to use.Recommend
Very very happy with this lead . I have had halti leads before and been pleased with their quality but I had never seen one with the control loops , I find them so handy just to give a little bit extra guidance when walking my dog. They are very well made and strong . I have a 30kg boxer and I feel confident that the lead will withstand any of his pulling shenanigans.
Very happy with this purchase. I am very familiar with halti products. This was a very good price. Much more flexible than a normal lead, allows more control, feels secure, soft on the hand unlike the webbed nylon replicas. See how it lasts.
We have a ginormous Newfypoo puppy (35 kilos at the last count), so obviously a sensible lead is a must-have. We had (and indeed still have) a similar Halti lead, but when our pooch was very young she chewed it a bit and I certainly don’t want it failing at some critical (probably cat chasing 🙂 moment. This lead can be configured several different ways and can even be looped around your waist if you jog with your pooch, or fancy being towed down the road. Certainly the handles make keeping your doggy companion close and safe near (for example) roads. I find these leads well-made and adaptable.

The close control handle is perfect for crossing busy roads and the no hands round body perfect for running, all with no comprise on a great lead for everyday use. Really good quality, easy to use and I now have full control over my rottweiler while out on walks. She doesn’t pull me around now, which is great lol
Although it is a very comfortable and usfull lead, connection clips on both sides are very flimsy. They looked straight away a bit small, and I been proven to be right to worry. One side shaped when my fog suddenly reacted to other dog and pulled. It simply snapped! My dog is only 27 kg…… although he is a strong dog, but we never had experience of fixtures just snapped .. was very scary..

Resived replacement very fast and have been using it for a month now. Very happy with it and really think its a great tool for a better control for reactive dog. Still think ,a more secure lager fixtures will benefit this product. Specifically if you have lager heavier dog ( my is 27kg) .
Best thing purchasing this we got to the point where we dreaded taking our dog out (big lab) because he pulled us all over. He walks right by outside with this and love how the lead can go longer too (bought this and the nose lead)

This lead is absolutely brilliant I have a St Bernard who is incredibly strong and this lead gives me great control over him walking him now is a joy !
Great lead for dog training, good to have multiple ways to attach to my dogs harness and having two hand holds to walk normally and also to keep close control when needed

I have two dogs and one pulls so having the extra handle has made life so much easier when street walking.
Bought together with Halti anti-pull harness. What a difference! My springer was pulling my arm out of my socket on walks, with me pulling back and saying heel every 3 seconds. Walking is now pleasurable. I haven’t had to clip lead to chest as walks beautifully clipped to back only, instead I use clipped around waist. Dog trots on happily in front without pulling, and easy to bring in close with handle.
I am very pleased with this Lead. I bought it because I saw a friend of mine had a similar one. I’d like that has multiple handles making it easy to hold the dog at different lengths. It’s also good, but there’s a clip on the end so that the dog can be attached when travelling in a car. It’s a good length for loops and clips. Also mean that it can be attached to an extendable lead, giving an extra bit of length and lead. It’s hard to get excited about a dog sleep to be honest, but insofar as you can. This is a good one and I’ve been very happy with it.
This is the best double lead dog leash design we have seen, especially for our long body Saluki dog. It is so good we have just ordered a second identical one in case they are for any reason retired. One downside. It is a total 2m length but when doubled as per the design, it only leaves one metre between you and your dog. I have spoken with the company to see if they would produce a 3m version, 1.5m when doubled, and they have placed my suggestion with their design department. Thanks Amazon, you did it again.
Halti quality, thick material, the red upper handle is useful for normal walking and the lower on could do with being a bit higher for us as we have a small dog( lower down). For a taller dog it would be great for close control. Good lead, and adaptable.
I bought this lead for my dog to give me options for lead length and control. It has been great. I use this lead everyday. It has lasted well. I adjust how I use the lead depending on the environment we are in, i.e. if we’re out in the countryside and my dog needs more freedom or if we’re in a town, where I need my dog closer. It washes well if put in a laundry bag. Since I got this lead, other dogs my dog walker takes out have also started having this lead and my dog walker uses it herself too, which must be good signs.
We bought this to replace our one year old dogs stretched out bungee lead. It’s been fantastic so far. The double clip system means we can attach the lead to both the back and front D-rings of his harness for greater control when we’re walking near traffic or other hazards and, when we walk him and my parents dog together, we can get by with just the one lead. I haven’t tried it as a waist lead with our dog but I imagine it would work well. The traffic strap is also really helpful as we’re training our dog to sit and wait next to roads before crossing so this strap, right up at one end of the lead, gives me much more confidence in his safety while he’s learning.
Those red handles are arm’s length apart so if your dog is on the longest lead (small clip to first ring, large clip to dog) you can easily reign him in by reaching for handle after handle
The second clip to middle ring allows you to put your end of the lead around your body so you can be hands free.
If you put small clip on your dog the other end has a ring which you can clip a long lead onto so easy to switch to recall training without fiddling with swapping leads.
In a finding a stray dog scenario you can use the other clip to suddennly have two dogs on leads with the middle red handle for you.
Because there are so many rings and clips it’s really easy to attach your dog to lamposts, tables, railngs etc and at different amounts of freedom.
My only disadvantage is my dog did manage to chew through it when he was bored. Fortunately it was at a point where there was a handle and that held as strongly as the lead itself to get him home. I repaired it with a piece of strapping on both sides and sprayed with bitter apple and it’s still going strong a month later!
This is one of the best leads that we have used and we have tried a lot.
We use it mostly with a halti head harness as our boy is major puller at all times so using both is like adding power steering and means i can confortably walk him.
The lead is verstile and gives you options as to how much distant you let you dog walk from you. I tend to keep him at the short option unless we are at the park or woods then i move the clip easily to let him explore further.
The metal loops not only allow you to adjust the length but are great for the car, lets you attach quickly to his seat belt. Just gives our boy a little more movement to sit up and look out the window but he is still really secure.
The material is soft to hold but really strong and sturdy.
Bought this to replace a standard HALTI lead without the extra control handles. This is definitely an upgrade, with the handles helping to give extra leverage when the pup is misbehaving and more security if using when out for a walk. The lead still has the same arrangement of clips from the standard lead too so no compromise required on how to hook it up.
Have knocked one star off as he’s (somehow) managed to undo the clip several times when using it with a HALTI head collar. First time he wasn’t hooked on twice so gave me a minor panic, although he just stopped in his tracks when the hook came off. Have since made sure the other end is hooked onto his collar, but that reduces the length of freedom he can have with it. Not sure the standard HALTI lead would be any different – he is low to the ground so maybe catching on something as he’s sniffing about.
Overall happy with the purchase, and very good value compared to some of the other options out there.
