Lovely toy which made for a delightful gift for my niece. I was, however, surprised to find a DPD delivery van outside in lieu of the usual Amazon vehicle! I’d ordered this using Prime, so as to ensure that I would have it in time for my niece’s birthday, however, the driver knocked briefly on the door and almost walked off with my parcel, had I not swiftly gotten dressed and rushed to the door before he’d had a chance to take off completely! This is a reoccurring problem with DPD and the reason why I would much rather order items via Amazon Prime. How odd that they are now using DPD!

My 10 month old loves this toy! He’s had it for around 4 weeks now and still, his eyes light up when I get it out for play time. A reallt great alternative to loud plastic toys, so much so I have asked family to stick to wooden toys for Christmas this year. Cant wait to spoil my boy with the entire Hape range!
Bought for 14 month boy, loved the box more than the toy to start with but gave us a chance to check it. Nice and smooth, no sharp or rough edges, lovely bright colours, balls too big to go in the mouth. May be a little young to use the hammer but was able to copy us pushing the balls through with his hand. It was the first thing he went to play with the following day. Only complaint is the cord connecting the stick to the xylophone is a bit short (probably for safety reason) so he just thinks it’s something to pick it up and swing it about with. But he has worked out he can play it using the hammer! Great fun.
This is a really wonderful toy. Well made, wooden, multiple ways to play with it. Our 6m old is very intrigued by the xylophone sounds, but cant quite work it yet. We like that it’s not an annoying sound.
He loves to pick up the wooden balls in his hands, and to put the hammer in his mouth. He is just learning how to push the balls through the holes so that they land on the xylophone below. It will keep him entertained for many more months I’m sure!

Bought as a birthday present for my 1 year old niece. I didn’t unbox it before wrapping but it seemed sturdy. My daughter helped to choose it as she liked the colours and design. Well priced in my opinion.
Fantastic toy, much loved by the 19 month old who received it for Christmas. She quickly figured out she could push the balls through the holes without hammering but it’s still great fun. Lovely sound and balls can be used with the Hape Roller Derby too.
I have bought this for my own child as well as a gift for two others. It is sturdy and really well made. When cleaning the product the paint does not come off.
This is one of the best toys we have. My son has loved it since he was about 8 months old. He loves sliding the xylophone in and out as well as playing it!
I purchased this after spotting it at a friend’s house. My daughter who had just turned 1 absolutely loves it and it is her go to toy at the minute. Definitely recommend!
Fantastic quality. My very strong baby smashes it every day because that’s how he plays and he loves it. No sharp edges but it is wood so not the lightest if you have a very young or weak baby.
Like the concept and it works well. my daughter enjoys it. only thing that bothers me is that the first note (c) is out of tune, which is ok ish when little one is just banging around, but makes trying to play a song for her sound horrible.

My daughter loves this toy, which is all that counts! Yes, the tuning is off, which makes playing actual tunes a little comical but hey, I didn’t buy it for me and I don’t think that my 16 month old cares too much!
Lovely well made and colourful toy, my granddaughter loves it, she finds it easy enough to get the balls to drop through without too much hammering (thankfully) and the xylophone makes a pleasant sound (thankfully).
Very usefull toy for baby development. I bought it when my little one was 9.5 months and he learnt very quickly how to put the cicles in the holes and straight after began to put different things in a container and not only take it out.
Nice solid toy, had it a little while now and only issue is where to put the hammer when not in use. At the moment I put through the handle that you use to pull out the xylophone with.
I bought this toy as a Christmas present & it was a huge success.
It had a solid appearance & looked as though it should take the sort of treatment you can expect from a one year old!

I bought this for our 9 month old but our 3 year old loves it equally as much. It makes a lovely sound as the ball rolls over the musical keys but you do have to whack the balls quite hard which spoils it a bit. On the plus side the wooden panel with the keys on can be removed and our youngest loves hitting them with anything he can get hold of. a good quality toy that so far we haven’t been disappointed with
