The Hasbro Gaming Bop It! Electronic Game is an absolute blast for kids and adults alike! I recently bought this for my group of children and it has quickly become a favourite in our organisation
The game is easy to understand yet challenging enough to keep everyone engaged. The instructions are clear, and the voice commands add a fun twist, keeping players on their toes. The game’s fast pace is perfect for improving hand-eye coordination and reflexes, making it both entertaining and beneficial.
What I love most about Bop It! is its versatility. It’s perfect for solo play, but it shines as a group activity. We’ve had countless laughs and friendly competitions during enrichment activities. The compact design makes it easy to bring along for gatherings or even trips, ensuring that the fun never stops.
The build quality is excellent, and the game feels durable, which is a huge plus given how much it gets played. The sound effects are clear, and the volume is adjustable, which parents will appreciate.
Overall, the Hasbro Gaming Bop It! Electronic Game is a fantastic purchase that promises hours of fun and excitement. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to add a bit of interactive fun to their game collection. It’s a hit with the children.
Pros:
– Engaging and fast-paced gameplay
– Great for solo or group play
– Improves reflexes and coordination
– Portable and durable
Cons:
– None that we’ve encountered!
If you’re looking for a game that’s sure to entertain, Bop It! is the way to go!
My 8 year old daughter has been given this as a birthday present and she loves it! This is an absolute fantastic present for any kid. Hours of entertainment trying to beat bop it – I’m pleased to say that I’m the only one in the family to do it, so far
Bop it is a reaction game, the game will let you know if to press, pull or twist on a voice command – the farther you go the quickest the commands are. If you can follow 100 commands successfully you win the game. Has 4 modes, solo, pass it (can play with as many player you want) solo beatbox (where the commands are just sounds) and pass it beatbox.
Honestly this is an absolutely fantastic game which will take your kids away from their screens – what can be better?
We got this to add to our collection of compact games that can go camping with us, and we love it. Quality is great, and the game itself is really good fun.
The Bop it isn’t quite as I remember from when I was a child, I’m sure it has less actions then it used to? However, my 5 and 7 year love it and it’s been providing lots of entertainment. It saves the highest score so we’ve all been enjoying trying to beat the previous score. Would recommend!
Bought for my children at Christmas. It got lots of use! They enjoyed it and shared. It is good quality, value for money and will keep your little ones (or even adults!) entertained.
It’s alright but definitely not as good as the original! It only goes up to 100 which is easy enough to do with a bit of practice but the old ones used to keep going, faster and faster! And the missing actions are disappointing but if you didn’t have the original then it’s still fun.
My 3+ year old loves this, not only does he use it for its intention (pushing teeth down) we also used it to teach the importance of brushing your teeth or we’ll be doing the same with his teeth.
Jokes aside he also uses this to munch on hot wheels, play mobile people, crocodiles got a good balanced diet! So all in all, a great toy if you use a little imagination.
Love this product. A friend of ours had one years ago. We have had so much fun with it over the years. Great that you can still buy this product. Would definitely recommend.
I recently had the opportunity to play with the classic game, Bop It, and I must say it was a fun and addictive experience. Here’s my review based on my personal encounter:
Bop It is an incredibly entertaining game that hooks you right from the start. The concept is simple yet engaging, challenging you to follow commands and react quickly. The game features various actions, such as bopping, twisting, and pulling, which are indicated by lights and sound cues.
One of the highlights of Bop It is its addictive nature. As you start playing, you’ll find yourself engrossed in the challenge, eager to beat your previous high score or compete with friends and family. The fast-paced nature of the game keeps you on your toes, testing your reflexes and coordination.
The compact and portable design of Bop It allows you to enjoy the game virtually anywhere, making it an excellent choice for social gatherings, road trips, or even solo play. Its simplicity makes it accessible to players of all ages, ensuring that everyone can join in on the fun.
Furthermore, the game offers different modes and difficulty levels, adding variety and replay value. You can challenge yourself to beat your personal best or engage in friendly competition with others, making Bop It a versatile and entertaining game suitable for different occasions.
In conclusion, Bop It is a highly enjoyable and addictive game that provides hours of entertainment. Its simplicity, portability, and competitive nature make it an excellent choice for both solo and group play. Whether you’re looking to challenge yourself or engage in friendly competition, Bop It delivers a fun and engaging experience that keeps you coming back for more.
A game that can be enjoyed by all ages, we played it on holidays 7yrs to 60 very different answers which made the game great fu
Love this game. Great to help children with the alphabet and vocabulary and immense fun for adults too, especially after a glass of 2 of wine. We love it and several friends have bought it since we told them.
All the family enjoy playing this my top score is 85 so fa
Bought for my son for Christmas (9 years) and provided much entertainment for him and the family
This game is great if you want to have a light hearted fun time.
If you are into playing games with friends and family Scattergories is one of the must-haves in your collection.
I bought this one as a Christmas present, but still have and play, what I think is, one of the first editions from 1989. This is proof that unlike some games this has longevity, because of the possible answer combinations.
Things have been scaled down with this more modern version, the answer pads and holders are much smaller. The brilliant, noisy and nerve-jangling countdown clock has been replaced by a simple sand timer, and there is no board to roll the heavy dice on or pencils. Having said that the game is still brilliant and easy to play.
There are six sets of eight category cards, and each double-sided card has 12 random categories. When the letter is chosen by the roll of the die, players have to list answers for each category starting with that letter (double points can be scored for 2-word answers, for instance in an answer to a famous female beginning with J, Jessie J). This is done against the timer and points are only scored if they do not match other players’ answers.
The one change they have attempted to make, which I do not think works, is that the answer sheet allows for 3 answers for each category, there simply isn’t the time, we chose to continue playing with one answer for each.
There is very little set-up, and the game length can be chosen to suit.
Got my niece this for Christmas and she thinks its super funny and her grandad loves it becuase there is no little pieces to loose or set up. All the teeth stay in the croc head
Super price and everything you need to be able to enjoy the game – highly recommend this over any other version on the market
I used to play this about 20 years ago when we were teenagers
Had completely forgotten about this game till recent, we was at a friends and they got it out for us to play.
Fell back in love with the game and wanted to buy our own so we could play it as a family like I used to.
Effectively its just 5 dices and a score pad that you need, to be able to play the game, so I was gobsmacked to see the boxed game retailing at 29.99 for a box with 5 dices and a score pad, years ago you used to get a nice plastic frame to throw the dices in and it had a lined up section for you to put the dices you was collecting in but now a day the boxed game is just the box, the dices and the score pad for 30, so I started to price up 5 dices and buying the additional score pads to save me wasting a load of money but that was working out about 15, I then stumbled across this Hasbro travel size version for 7.99.
Absolutely amazing price, I love that it takes up hardly any space compared to the boxed game and we have it left out on the dining room unit and play it most nights after dinner.
I have now bought a dice catcher, not compulsory but stops the dices falling on the floor and us having to keep going under the table to retrieve them.
I have even been able to add a set of pens to the container so the game is all ready to be played
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GAME – SUPER PRICE
Love this game so much! It’s easy to pick up & play, although it can become stressful trying to think of answers for the categories in the time given! Quality & condition was perfect too. The only downsides are that: there’s no longer a battery-operated buzzing timer (like you used to get in the original game) & there’s a sand timer instead & that some of the categories are quite American (we just adapted to suit our lifestyles in the UK).
Bought it for a niece for Xmas. We all ended up playing it on the day. Really great fun for all ages!
Bought as a joke gift for my 28 year old. He loved it and played against his sister fir hours and then completed it on Christmas day ! So will be upgrading next year .
Possibly one of the most played with toys this Christmas and new year. Everyone who comes into the house can’t resist a go, it’s got everyone quite competitive with each other! All round great fun for all ages.
I grew up with a bop it and loved it so I wanted one now in happy with it it workes
Bought it for the grandkids but everyone had a go.
A very simple game which has provided my 4 year old with many hours of fun. Sturdy product too as it’s been bashed around a fair bit and is still in one piece.
Scattergories is a great game , easy to learn with a host of different permuattions, as each set of questions can have a different letter each roll of the dice
We bought this for our daughter and compared to the original which we have had for circa 20 years we found the egg timer nowhere as good as the “wheel” timer with the original with its sound effects and the individual boards are flimsie
Bought as a daft present for my grown up daughter as she had one when younger.
It’s good fun and easy to use
Excellent quality high score is only 100 could be higher The game takes 2 aaa batteries there are three volumes blasting loud and quiet to change the volume to use the twist it mechanism there are4 Game mood Solo pass it beatbox Solo and beatbop Passit
You access this using the pull mechanism you can play alone or with friends the game speeds up as you progress through the levels the high score is announced before the game starts on the solo round and your score is announced if you fail OR beat the game Would highly recommend
