I own a few imagers including a FLIR with twice the resolution and can say that this imager is worth its weight. With it I’m able to clearly see cold spots around doors, walls, etc. as well as hot spots (my footprints are visible as I walk!). I recommend this level of imager for anyone needing better than the most basic yet can’t afford to buy a more expensive Flir.

Allora intendiamoci, costa poco e da poco ma pi che sufficiente per rilevare ad esempio fughe e spifferi negli infissi etc. Per relazionare conviene fare in contemporanea una foto con il telefonino per capire bene dove stiamo puntando. Per chi ha un uso saltuario va benissimo quindi

Like that you can see a ton . But you need to find the g spot for viewing
I think this is a great tool in the right hands. I believe that there is also a slot for some sort of memory card, but I did not use it myself.

Man HaT die Mglichkeit Bilder abzuspeichern was die Nacharbeit um einiges vereinfacht .

I IR scan professionally for work using a top of the line FLIR camera, however I wanted a cheap one to own at home to inspect some insulation issues.
This thing is awesome and definitely beats the Klein one. Camera itself is great, only issues are that it won’t provide a professional report as FLIR will.
No visible image available side by side or picture in picture. The resolution also suffers in the report of the image is enlarged.
Still great value for the money and the battery life is amazing.
I will be honest here, the FakeSpot app gave this product an incredibly low score of “F” for fake review content. But sold and fulfilled by Amazon, I felt protected from risk.
For a casual user, this product is flawless. It comes with the battery installed and already charged. It includes a micro-SD already installed. It comes well-packed and is ready to use. There are two color schemes to choose from in the menu system, as well as white-hot and black-hot schemes. It has an option of dynamic hi/low points. There is a red laser which indicates in the real world identifies the centre “+” marker on the screen. I bought this for a child to play with, so I disabled the Class 2 laser in the menu options.
The device has two IR sensors, a low temperature sensor and a high temperature sensor. The default mode is auto-flipping between these. The device makes a “thunk” sound and gives the impression it’s being mistreated, before I recognized what it is doing. The auto-switching can be disabled in the settings.
The full product manual is provided as a QR code in the quick-start guide. The manual suggests to install the mobile app – which is not usable because the camera does not have any wireless networking capability. That is the only error I’ve run into.
I have not checked for accuracy, but it certainly gives plausible numbers, no reason to suspect a problem.
Haven’t used a lot so I haven’t actually run the battery right down. I didn’t give it 5 stars just because I haven’t used it enough. Otherwise great tool. I use to check for electrical terminals and connections and for heat loss or cold air entering homes. So far works grea
Just received it today and already checked every where in the house and in the attic. Received it in a nice box and the first thought was that it is well designed and quality product. I was not expecting that much from it. Then I found already some weak spot in the attic and corrected the problem. After a couple of hours rechecked with this gun and saw that my fix worked perfectly. This thing will pay by itself.
I had figured out all the options before even reading the manual (yes there is one). If I knew that I could get this descent device before, I would have bought it long time ago.
Definitively a product I would recommand.
Obviously the two devices I have used are very different, one attaches to a phone and the second doesn’t, but the second is half the cost of the FLIR and easier to use. Its a thermal camera, it’s easy to understand how to use. The cost was the key factor for me, this isn’t new tech by any means so it’s time for that to come down.
Three things stand out: a) fast screen refresh, this helps scan faster b) very sensitive to small temperature differences*** c) auto-ranging makes it very easy to use, it automatically select the scale so you have the best sensitivity.
Note***: I was not sure at first about its sensitivity, but a quick test convinced me, press your hand on a wall for even less than a second and you see your palm standing out in bright yellow on the display.
The minor drawback I have seen so far is that sometimes auto-ranging will change scale and that pauses the display for about a second, not a big deal (you hear it when it does that so you know it’s paused).
I have not used it much to measure temperature so I cannot give a review on that.
As for robustness, it does seem very adequate for home use.
