Very rarely do I use a spanner, generally it’s sockets or screws but once in awhile a spanner is needed and I usually bodge something together and take care of it.
Finally decided to just buy a set of spanners and this ticks the box for the right sizes and quality enough that my casual usage is perfectly fine, I’m sure it won’t be any use for wrenching on seized engine mounts with cheater bars etc… but for putting bolts in a shed or any other home DIY project this is more than suitable.
Got these as a set to carry in the car, you never know when you might need a spanner.
These look good, are held together well and there is a good range of sizes.
Great value, but jumps from size 14mm to 17mm!! 15mm is one of the most used sizes I have ever come across. Not in this set. I think the manufacturers are BOZO’S!!
