Only got it today and used it a few times (so hoping it lasts until holidays!) Think I need one for myself – it’s great! The pen glides nicely on the screen & you can adjust line width with a little pressure. Really sleek pad so will fit into hand luggage easily. Pen & pen slot have loops so I’m sure you can tie the pen to the pad if you like (for toddlers who like to throw things, it’ll stop the pen disappearing under plane seats!) Very happy so far & probably going to order one for myself too!
My son loves this – he’s just started school, so as well as being perfect for practising his phonemes, he gets fun out of it by drawing pictures and making patterns. Such a good price, we love it 🙂
We were loving this pad but after 5 months the drawing doesn’t clear even when I change the batteries. Disappointed that it hasn’t lasted longer as I would have expected more.
I bought this as a jotter as my grandson has one. The product is fine but I ordered a pink one and was sent a blue one so a bit disappointing in that respec
I purchased this to encourage my five year old to practice writing, and he absolutely loves it. It’s really easy for him to use on his own. It’s fun. Considering how flimsy it it is, it’s surprisingly durable and has withstood pretty heavy useage. It can be used for writing and drawing. And it has helped to reduce the mountain of paper that he routinely gets through. I’ll definitely buy another when this one meets its end.
These are great, our daughter and nieces love them. Despite being really light they’re sturdy and will survive being dropped. Easy to use with the stylus it comes with but can also be used with anything you have to hand which is great when little ones lose things so easily.
This was a present for a second birthday. She was absolutely delighted with it carrying it around everywhere and declaring it to be “my phone”. She got to grips with the drawing and erasing straight away.
Sadly she snuck it out to the garden one day and went at it with a rock and dirt. The dirt cleaned off ok but the rock had scratched the screen. However in what I take to be a testament to the build quality, once I cleaned it off it still works perfectly fine drawing with the same level of detail as before.
I’ve opted to keep it in the car going forward for use on long drives and will certainly buy again once it gives up the ghost and perhaps sooner as her older brother is quite jealous.
I bought one of these for myself to assist me with distance learning during the pandemic, as the amount of paper I was using when scribbling down notes or instructions when helping the kids with their schoolwork was ridiculous. Fast forward a few days later, and each of my kids are asking for their own one, as they love drawing on them! Easy to use, easy to clear and great for scribbling my notes on- I’ve even been buying these to put in with children’s birthday presents and the feedback from both the child recepients and the parents has been amazing! Will definitely be ordering more for gifts- it’s my homeschooling hero!
Easy for toddler to scribble on, without risks of chewing crayons or scribbling where she shouldn’t 🙂 Nice effect with the different colours. Simple to clear the screen to start next drawing.
Small enough to slip in change bag, for use when out or in the car, but big enough to draw good sized pictures.
Like it that power use is minimal, so battery should last well.
I purchased this product as a gift for a child’s 6th birthday present. My 6 year old daughter also has one and loves it. The product is quite thin but this does not take away from the fact that it is fun, excellent value for money and the display screen is bright and colourful. It also comes with a handy fabric pouch. My daughter has had her’s since January 2020 and it is still going strong. I would highly recommend this product.
I have a larger version of one of these which I keep on the fridge for quick notes. It’s really useful when I actually get to use it, which sometimes means finding its new location. Reason? My child, who is obsessed with drawing on it.
Kids absolutely love these things, especially if they work well (nice and bright screen, gradient colours and a good lock function to keep their masterpiece safe until they decide to draw a new picture). Think of these tablets as being upgraded magic drawing boards, the ones that you push a slider across to erase a picture drawn with a stylus. These tablets are much better, as they produce a nice colourful crisp thin line on a black background which stays put until you press the reset button. This particular tablet ticks all the boxes; a nice bright screen, a lock button (on the back) to prevent accidental screen resets, lovely gradient colours in gold, green and blue, well built, and a manageable size and shape for a youngster. Mine didn’t come with a lanyard attachment for the stylus, I don’t think one is included; but it does have the holes so you could tie a length of string or ribbon between the pen and the board if it’s likely to get lost. It does come with a self adhesive magnetic strip if you want to mount it on a fridge. And it’s a nice bright hot pink casing, which will meet with approval by my girl.
