.Q1:Is HONOR Band 5 compatible with non-Huawei phones?

.A1:HONOR Band 5 supports Android 4.4 or later/iOS 9.0 or later.

We have fully updated the “HUAWEI Health app” since June 15.

.1) Non-Huawei users: You can download the latest version of “Huawei Health App” (version 10.1.0.311) directly from the Google Play store and complete the installation.

.2) Huawei users: You can download the latest version of “Huawei Health App” (version 10.1.0.311) through HUAWEI APP Gallary.

.Q2:What should I do if I cannot find the blood oxygen function on HONOR Band 5?

.A2:Dear customer, you only need to upgrade the version of honor band 5 to the latest version to use the blood oxygen function.

.Q3: It takes a long time to transfer data to the app, how to solve it?

.A3:Dear customer, the data transmission speed of the bracelet is affected by Bluetooth and network conditions, so please keep the stability of both when transmitting data.

.Q4:Will there be differences in the step data between the bracelet and other step counting products?

.A4:HONOR Band 5 calculates the number of steps mainly depending on the frequency of arm swing. Different products may have deviations due to different step algorithms.

.Q5:Can not measure blood oxygen, is it a problem of incorrect wearing?

.A5: In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement, please wear the bracelet 2-3cm away from your wrist, do not loose it too much, and make sure it sticks to your skin.In addition, blood oxygen measurement is affected by skin color, body hair, tattoos, and scars. Please avoid these when measuring blood oxygen.

Notes: The version of the HUAWEI HEALTH APP downloaded from the non-Huawei app market may be relatively low. If so, please check for updates in my settings before pairing.

-This can do practically what you’d expect for the price
-Quite durable. All those scratch marks? When I’ve been swimming in pools and the such.
-Very waterproof – I’ve literally used it underwater (well my fingers can’t always connect but it works 🙂 )
    -Lightweight and comfortable
-Many different exercise functions. Sends every end of exercise mode report to your phone in short order.
But this is a good intro into fit-bits and general cool smart watches.

I’ve given 5 stars for accuracy, even though on these devices it always seems a bit random. But this is a great little ‘watch’ at a fantastic price – bought for my wife, and she’s absolutely delighted with it (always a relief!). So much cheaper than other equivalent products, and even wearable whilst gardening with the dedicated screen protectors (I’d never realised they made them for ‘watches’!). Couldn’t be more pleased.

Good price watch, I use mine for tracking steps. Have to charge it every 3 days. Got some nice features easy to pair with the App. Not 100% sure how accurate some of the features are, like tracking sleep, and heart rate. However for the price and how easy it is to use its perfect for me.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI mainly use this to track my runs. Because this is a Huawei product, you can’t get any of the apps on the Play store (Android) and it’s incompatible with other health apps like Strava and Samsung Health. You can get other apps to transfer data between them, but it’s a faff and a bit inconsistent. Even so, it’s a good watch and the app features, like AI run trainer, sleep monitoring, step counting etc are good. Unsure how accurate they are – my husband’s Apple watch gets very different numbers e.g. for km walked. For the money, the basics that I need, and the streamlined profile, I’m happy. But there are better watches out there if you need anything more.

Nothing to dislike. The screen is very compact but the recipient of the watch loves it which is the main thing

This fitness tracker is as good as the much more expensive one I had previously which stopped working.the screen on this is bright and easy to use.would recommend this to anyone who wants a good product at a reasonable price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWorks well paired up with my old Honor view 20 phone. Easy to link to the health app which was already on phone. I have had no irritation off band at all and I have psoriasis. Paper instructions a bit duhh and not very informative but app is. I would have liked an easier to charge item like my partners Huawei band 4 which has ability to take part of strap off with USB end on strap and plug straight into laptop….. This band has no such ease of charging and getting the tiny clamp onto the band is fiddly. The fact that the clamp is also attached to a tiny charge wire about 4 inches long means when the band is charging the entire lump hangs off the USB port and can pull out. Good value on sale but I would not have paid full price as the Huawei band 4 is much better.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersI was very dubious when I saw the price for this, essentially I wanted to have a step counter and that’s all I was interested in, however, the fitbit not only tracks steps, but also sleep, oxygen blood levels and you can select to receive messages and various notifications to your wrist, it has reminders to stretch or move when sat idle for a long time. The battery lasts well and takes little time to recharge. All in all I’m very impressed and have become almost addicted to upping my exercise game.

Pound for pound the best on the market
Unless your planning on going to the olympics, this has everything u need. I sea swim weekly, run every few days and cycle from time to time and it tracks everything.
Nice choice of watch interfaces too.
Highly recommend this. I’ve been using Huawei phone and smart watches since 2015, top class and way cheaper than samsung and apple.

Super band, easy to use and easy to pair with the Health app. Excellent at tracking sleep and even if you nap for 15 minutes . Better than many tracker bands that cost a lot more money than this Honor 5. This band does not measure BP. Health app is informative and easy to navigate.

I am very pleased with the watch so far. Its very easy to use and understand. Not used it for swimming yet but OK in the shower. Like the easy access to controls from the front of touch screen on watch.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI love this band for the price and it does everything I would need it to do. I chose it because I wanted one suitable for swimming with and so it needed to be properly waterproof.
Few little things I dislike; when you chose a swimming workout and have finished you have to unlock the band by swiping up and back down (tricky with wet fingers) And then hold down the screen to pause which it will the ask you to stop or resume workout which is a little long winded.
The only other annoying thing is I have yet to find a face that displays the battery life, I got caught our mid swim with a low battery symbol instead of my swim length, it did hold out till the end of the swim but it made me realise that it gives no warning when getting near a low battery and to find the battery you either need to check the phone app or select settings on the band and find battery to view how much is left. Apart from those two things I have been happy using it and the app for a few weeks now.

Golden Review Award: 57 From Our UsersThis is my second purchase of honor band, one for my daughter then decided get one for myself. The band itself looks great and for the price surprised by how good it is. I got for monitoring my bpm and oxygen levels however I was sceptical, so on a hospital appointment I checked how accurate it was against the hospital monitor and to my surprise it was spot on. Great knowing that the watch will accurately provide the data. Only flaw comes with the app, the data from watch doesn’t always transfer to the app correctly, step count seems to but the bmp sometimes differs from the band, not always but enough to comment on. Would definitely recommend buying one especially as a starter watch, fit for purpose and looks reasonable too. Strap great length looks good on my larger wrist and daughters very slim wrist and plenty extra strap to fit wrists on most sizes. It’s so easy to wear that can’t even really feel it when wearing super light and comfortable even during the night, and I’m not a person who usually wears watches.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSo much more comfortable than my fitbit charge 2. Heart rate, sleep steps all seem accurate. I had the honor band 3 and the step count seemed quite low compared to fitbit. I have a huawei phone so no issues with the app. I thought it didn’t auto recognise activities but twice now I forgot to select workout and it has recorded my runs! for the price it’s great. I have continuous heart tracking and trusleep enabled and battery is still half full after 3 days. Messages and phone calls are reliable unlike my last fitbit.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent band to go with my p20 pro.
