HONOR Band 5 Fitness Tracker, Fitness Watch with Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen, Sleep Monitor, Waterproof Smart Watch Women Men, Pedometer Step Counter Watch Activity Tracker Android IOS

.Q1:Is HONOR Band 5 compatible with non-Huawei phones?
.A1:HONOR Band 5 supports Android 4.4 or later/iOS 9.0 or later.
We have fully updated the “HUAWEI Health app” since June 15.
.1) Non-Huawei users: You can download the latest version of “Huawei Health App” (version 10.1.0.311) directly from the Google Play store and complete the installation.
.2) Huawei users: You can download the latest version of “Huawei Health App” (version 10.1.0.311) through HUAWEI APP Gallary.
.Q2:What should I do if I cannot find the blood oxygen function on HONOR Band 5?
.A2:Dear customer, you only need to upgrade the version of honor band 5 to the latest version to use the blood oxygen function.
.Q3: It takes a long time to transfer data to the app, how to solve it?
.A3:Dear customer, the data transmission speed of the bracelet is affected by Bluetooth and network conditions, so please keep the stability of both when transmitting data.
.Q4:Will there be differences in the step data between the bracelet and other step counting products?
.A4:HONOR Band 5 calculates the number of steps mainly depending on the frequency of arm swing. Different products may have deviations due to different step algorithms.
.Q5:Can not measure blood oxygen, is it a problem of incorrect wearing?
.A5: In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement, please wear the bracelet 2-3cm away from your wrist, do not loose it too much, and make sure it sticks to your skin.In addition, blood oxygen measurement is affected by skin color, body hair, tattoos, and scars. Please avoid these when measuring blood oxygen.
Notes: The version of the HUAWEI HEALTH APP downloaded from the non-Huawei app market may be relatively low. If so, please check for updates in my settings before pairing.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. She needed to replace the one she had lost. (Same make and brand) I already have one and I am quite satisfied with it.
I’m loving my new fitness tracker, easy to charge when you know how, attractive to look at with adjustable wrist band, phone notifications along with the health info, would highly recommend
Wow a bargain at under 30
Does what it states
Really good compact design
Yes go for it ..
Only wish it would sense the activity’s automaticlly
Eg swimming – need to start and stop
I know the next model does this but it’s far to big for me as I wear a nice watch already and don’t want to feel and look silly
I had a bit of a struggle when downloading the new update took a bit too long was set up on the phone but the watch was taking ages but it eventually sorted itself out and I’m very happy with my purchase
But most importantly I nearly didn’t buy this as previous reviews had said it didn’t work with the latest Samsung phones which it now does.
Can’t say it’s as feature packed etc as the other half’s samsung watch but for 10% of the price its brilliant!
The colour is good, it didn’t take long to charge and it paired with my phone on seconds. The app that goes with it is intuitive snd easy to follow.
Does everything I need a fit watch for. I don’t need a full on smart watch to replicate my phone, so happy to choose a cheaper model.
If you need to know your steps, pulse monitoring and optional sleep monitoring as well as other options, it can set alas and reminders. It’s a great product and glad I bought it.
What I will say is I had the Honor Health app as on my prev phone, worked fine New phone, no joy. I downloaded the app from the QR code on the side of the box. Registered. Tried to pair my phone, it wouldnt, as I had to subscribe at 7.99 a month, but there was a message service. The reply astounded me! It said the app only supported Apple watches!
So WHY was that app code on the side of the Honor box? !
Will there be an update for the Honor app?
I will say the band was so comfy I never could tell if it was on or off my wrist. I loved the find my phone feature and the alerts to messages, calls. Otherwise I mainly used it for time and monitoring my steps.
Watch itself is pretty accurate, affordable and comfortable.
QUALITY
I’ve already hit the hard pretty hard and the watch is as good as new. The strap feels durable and flexible.
BATTERY LIFE & CHARGING
It also has great battery life, I’ve only charged it once- 3 days ago and it’s on 62% at the time of this comment. The charger is much better than the other sports watch I had; as the other charger i had to pull off one side of the wrist part of the watch to plug it into a plug to charge it. However, this charger clicks into the inside of the watch so you don’t have to remove anything.
APP
The app is quite basic, however it does what it needs to do. On the app you can enable the watch to do what you want, whether that is syncing to the phone, setting an alarm or turning on the location. I didn’t want anything fancy so I was happy with the app overall.
WATERPROOF ASPECT
I’ve also put the watch under running water (whilst wearing the watch) and had no issues. Only bought it recently, so I haven’t been able to check whilst swimming.
WHY ONLY 4 STARS?
Only put 4 stars as I ordered 2 and only received 1.
CONCLUSION
Would definitely recommend this watch as it does what I need it to- bought it for recording exercise data and would definitely buy again!
My only criticisms are the accuracy of sleep tracking. I think its fairly accurate in terms of time spent asleep but im not convinced by the time spent awake during the night. There have been periods where I was certainly awake early in the morning (3am) for a period longer than 10 minutes but it didn’t seem to pick it up. Conversely there have been seemingly nights where I don’t wake up at all but the band alerts me I spent 5+ mins awake. But hey ho no big deal.
I use this watch mostly for rock climbing, so I use the free training feature which has everything I need. Bpm / calories / time spent exercising etc. Allowing you to pause is a great feature that will help determine your average BPM whilst exercising and not whilst resting.
I’ve noticed there is a swimming tracking feature but I don’t think the watch works very well when wet (not that it isn’t waterproof) but fumbling around with it and try to swipe / interact is a futile exercise with a wet watch face and fingers. Again no big deal.
Battery life is good (ill get a good solid weeks wear with just a half hour – 45 min charge).
All in all, buy this watch before investing in something you *think* maybe more useful because I can guarantee when paired with the watches app you’ll be surprised how much you can get out of it!
