I put the washer on both, they didnt fit my standard hose nor my expandable hose, so I removed the washer and bingo, they fit both of my hoses with no leakage as yet. I am very happy, they are very sturdy and easy to control, moving to the other jet options was simple and not a struggle, I have arthritis in both hands. I use both of my hoses (front and back of the house) every day, washing dog paws daily, wellingtons, and watering plants, I am 100 % recommended these as a great purchase. Just to note I have only had them about a month with daily use, fantastic. I will review again in 3 months.
I bought this for my grandma as she has no tools for those little emergency jobs. Quality of tools is ok and a good mix compared to some other kits, and certainly cheaper than buying gvthem individually. Not suitable for a regular DIY person.
This is a superb product which every home should have.

Keep your expectations in check and this is a fantastic tool kit, boxed easy to store with almost everything you may need a hurry for a quick job, yes things fall out when you open the lid (I did say keep expectations in check)
A few rough edges on handles (nothing to worry about) but functional all the same
I’m quite happy with this tool set. It’s not the most high quality set of tools you’ve ever seen but it has a very good selection of tools and everything seems of decent quality. It’s the type of kit that would be perfect to get for someone who never has the right tool for the job and just needs a decent little kit to have around the house for odd jobs that need doing.
I’m a middle aged female with lots of little DIY projects on the go because family life is ever changing and something is always breaking in this old house of mine! I didn’t have a proper tool box, just a jumble of old random tools in a box and found that I was always muttering that I wish I had a spanner, screw driver etc. easily accessible. Well, now I do!
This kit has had everything I’ve needed for all recent projects including: fix my leaking toilet, repair a fence panel, replace a door hinge, swap out picture frames, open my oven double glass for (for internal cleaning) open various kids battery boxes, swap a lamp plug, measure my driveway (for a delivery) put up a doorbell, hang a mirror, build a trundle bed and an ikea flat pack to list a few! I am telling you my projects so that people like minded will know what it’s been used for in my review because my idea of robust might not be everyone else’s idea of robust, but it’s been really great for me. The tools feel strong and sturdy, do the job well, and there hasn’t been any tool that I’ve needed that isn’t in the kit.
Overall I am very, very pleased with this purchase. They store beautifully. It’s really a well thought out, beautifully designed, sturdy set of quality tools.
